No idea how that did that. The asparagus was cooked to the point that is all shriveled up. The baked potato was really good. When I told my wife about my meal she said that I should have sent it back but since the rest of our party were already enjoying their meal they would have been done by the time I received my selection. Besides pretty solid beachfront burgers, Pilot House doubles as a souvenir shop with Venice FL branded merch such as koozies and sweatshirts when you want to bring gifts for the folks back home. I've actually seen employees yelling at customers at this Burger king including us one time. Always a rude staff. Today young girl working the window (Friday, May 22nd, 2026 3:40 Pm). She asked us to pull forward to pay at the first window. Only two cars in front of us when we pulled up. We waited literally Five #5 minutes at the first window no one ever showed up even after all the other cars had left. We finally pulled up to the second window where she was just standing and handed us our food and chastised us for not waiting at the first window. I told her we waited several minutes and we got the "Eye roll". I also saw the guy behind us move us because no one came to take his money he went through the drive through same as us. When I suggested putting a sign in the first window that someone will be there eventually she has some smart butt reply. She also said the guy behind me was somehow different after I said he also left the first window. I literally saw a manager in tears at this location one day. Very sad, it's a nice area but this Burker King doesn't fit it's horrible service.

Bonus the bathrooms were clean but I was shocked to see a handwashing station right outside in case you didn't need to go but wanted to wash your hands which is wonderful. The inside was nice they had kiosks to order or you could order at the front. Also they had outdoor seating which was nice especially for the especially for this weather. After I was done I drove through the drive-thrust was quick and I checked my order and everything was correct but sadly cold. The fries weren't fresh at all and the burgers had no heat to them. It was later in the day but not close enough for dinner so I feel like they just gave what they had instead of making fresh. Now I would try this location again maybe closer around lunch time.
