The whole order I placed went very good. I picked up my order inside. The restaurant was clean and the staff were very pleasant in addition to helpful. I ordered online with the Burger King app BUT the app did not have all the available soft drinks listed (Fanta Orange, Root Beer etc) . Also, there USED to be a VERY awesome lil secret feature that Burger King offers and used to be on the ordering app called "Off the Broiler". It is the reason I have returned to Burger King on a regular bases. Because it comes right off the flame and on your burger it makes it taste like the Whopper when I was young! Sadly, the choice to request the "Off the Broiler" in the app is no longer there. Finely. If anyone from Burger King reads my review, PLEASE add cherry flavor to your soda machine. You offer to add vanilla flavor so I know the machine can do it and i know cherry coke or even Dr Pepper is FAR more popular. HORRIBLE service today. All employees seemed clueless. 25 minutes and we still didnt have our food! I really wanted a Whopper tonight! They were filling drive thru orders before lobby orders. They had no organization and no hurry in them. There were seriously NO ONE hustling. By the time people got their orders the food was not hot anymore. The place where readied food sits was FULL. No room for more orders. Trash cans over flowing. They should have shut either the lobby down or the drive thru. Where is the former manager who ran a tight ship?? The signs on the tables that said "this table is clean and ready touse"? This resturant made my list of never agains. Id rather eat McDonalds food than come here again. $54.00 for 2 adults and a child in a fast food joint that went 25 minutes without our order. This is a good spot for a fast food restaurant by busy intersections but just off the road close to a Dunkin Donuts and a tire shop. The restaurant itself is nice. But it has been plagued by service issues and Burger King's grasping at straws approach to finding a niche in the competitive fast food space. The food is salty and unhealthy, but it can be a fun spot once in a while for a Hershey pie (a great and under appreciated classic), soft serve ice cream, and burger / fish sandwich / chicken sandwich or nugs. The quality of the food and understaffing issues have been problematic. But it's advertising and various specialty offerings make it worth hitting on occasion to check it out. I prefer the variety of offerings at Wendy's including chili, salads, and frosties to be closer to the mark. read more

hmmmm I really want to like this location in Nokomis, Florida BUT there is always an issue. This time I went through the Drive Thru...the male person asked me 3 different times my order. The first window (female) was nice but asked me to wait there as my order wasn't ready. Received the OK to move forward and guess what.....YUP wrong order. Could not turn around as I had time constraints. Hope whom ever received my order enjoyed it as I hate ketchup and my burger was covered in it. YUCK!!!!!! Two visits and both were pretty positive. The manager is very friendly and he really believes in providing good customer service. The staff seem to respect him and like him. Chg card was charged, order confirmed, pick up time provided on the app. When I arrived they said it was in the works. 15 minutes later no Whopper. Showed them my receipt on my phone... their order had vanished . lady said they must have already given it to me. I have no Whopper... they said wait a couple minutes... 15 minutes later... no Whopper. I showed him my phone again and he said"YOU WAVE THAT PHONE AT ME 1 MORE TIME AND AND I AM COMING OVER THIS COUNTER"! It was the service for me this morning after completing a 12 hour overnight shift. I was contemplating about going over to Burger King while I'm awaiting the next trip to make it to my doctors appointment this morning so I goes over there and I stand in line I see this little old lady who trying to come inside with all of this stuff on our little cart. I open the door and help the lady in. We're standing there in line And then you have this brother. I guess he's waiting for our order already so the ladies that work at the Burger King are all in the back of the kitchen amongst themselves one of the young lady who works at the front counter, walks out, and she was getting ready to ask if we can be held, but she happen to see the young black man over to the side she asked him had even been help and he said no I'm waiting for order and pointed at us to stand in there who had been waiting And told her that we in fact have been waiting, and a young lady, look me in my face and turned around and walked the other way and proceeded to continue the conversation with the ladies in the back. Well, I wish there were negative #s allowed. Couldn't tell you about the food nor inside, as I waited 24 minutes in the drivethrough and left without food. No one in front of me at the speaker. I don't know what the problem is with this location but in the 1.5 years I have lived here, their drive thru systems never work. Always backed up, always the wrong order (keep your receipt and check your bag before you drive away). I went there for lunch today, and the guy at the money window said to me, "two frozen drinks?" Me: "no a double whopper meal." Without a word he closed the window and walked away. I waited for a solid 10 minutes watching the line behind me get longer and longer. Don't waste your time. 2 bad experiences already and decided to give it 1 last shot. Ordered and paid in the app in hopes it would be quick. Order said ready for pickup at 12:06 pm. Pulled in line at 12:07 pm on the dot. Waited 15 minutes at the drive-up speaker after the lady said "someone will be right with you". After the line didn't move and no one answered I pulled around and went inside. Stood in line 20 minutes with 3 people ahead of me. Finally got to the register and stood there another 10 minutes with the manager walking back and forth not acknowledging me or the other people in line. Had to leave with no food that I already paid for to go back to work since I only have an hour lunch. Reached out to BK customer service in the app since I didn't get to pick up my order and they added 1,000 points to my app but couldn't refund my money. I would have to go back to use the points, which I'm not about to do again. Also I learned while waiting in line the person preparing the hamburgers could only assemble 1 burger and send it across the counter to be bagged every 5 minutes. This is not fast food and good luck getting to eat anything if you are on your lunch hour. 1 star is way too much. read more

I know it's silly to write a review on fast food, yet here I am. I stood awkwardly at the counter while the assistant manger, looking extremely hungover berated a little old woman working there. The person taking our order said they would honor the BK coupon we just received in the mail but when I asked to have cheese added to the Whopper they said we could not add cheese to a coupon meal. I tried to clarify I would gladly pay for the cheese. She then told me the manager said we could not add to coupon meals because they were so cheap. I reiterated I would of course pay extra , but she said they could not do it. I left and drove 4 miles south to another BK where they gladly took my order and charged 60 cents extra. They fudge the system. Like most restaurants they have a quality service timer. The time it takes for them to get your food ready when you pull up to the window. I never know which window its going to be after I place my order. On this visit, I thought she said pull up to the first window. It says pay here. Yet there was no one there, I proceeded to go to the next window. She told me I needed to go back to the first window and they would call me to the next window when my order was ready. So I had to back my car up to the window I sat at where no one was . It says "pay here" yet after sitting there , no one ever came to take my money. She literally flags me down to come back to the other window, takes my money and gives me my food. Says they have a timer and they had to have me wait at the other window until part of my order was ready. Are you serious? You made me do all that because you have a service quality timer. I told her so basically your fudging your own system to make it look like your giving good service. When you really should do it the honest way and let them know you need more help. Only yesterday was different--they seemed to be very short handed and my order took a very long time to take it back to the condo to eat. Been to Burger King at 1270 N Tamiami Trail, Nokomis, FL two times. First time waited 10 minutes to order and left. Second time there was nobody at the restaurant and took over 5 minutes to get our food and they shorted us one burger. Workers were terrible and not helpful. And management can maybe take this review as constructive criticism to better your Burger King. Ordered 3 burgers and onion rings through drive thru. My first interaction with the rep, she had asked me if I had already paid her, as she was about to hand me my food. I found it odd, as there was no one ahead of me. I had a bit of concern as I paid my food. Pulled aside to make sure our order was right. 2 out of 3 burgers were the wrong orders. Specifically asked for no cheese when placing my order and repeated twice. Looked at the receipt, and my request and receipt were accurate. However, the food wasn't. Onion rings were decently hot. My whooper that they got right was slightly warm. The pickles they had added was really good - so that's the only bonus. They should keep that and don't change it. Went back into the restaurant to have them correct the 2 burgers in which they added cheese. One, even had melted cheese on the outside wrapper. Quite messy. (There's a reason for asking no cheese - food allergies. Good thing we checked before driving off.) Rep at counter was professional. Took my order back to get it corrected. I can see that there's only one cook at the back, probably rushing and not really paying attention to detail. I was definitely concerned and noticed that he was not wearing any food prep gloves!!! Health violation - I would think considering the pandemic. Got our burgers with no cheese, but still got one burger wrong. Ordered the Bacon King, but got a double whopper jr. Let me start this off by saying I used to love this place when it first opened and I am not normally one to even leave a review, that's a lot of effort. That being said, this place has slowly pissed me off over time and I reached a boiling point today that if I didn't leave one, it wouldn't feel right. Everything went about as normal: went through the drive thru, ordered a free (plain) whopper with my rewards app, and a chicken fry with honey mustard, made sure to ask twice about the honey mustard because it's a 50/50 shot you actually get the sauce you asked for at this place. Theres one car in front of me, I'm ready for my food, life is good... until 20 something minutes go by. It took me 25ish minutes to drive a total of 20 feet from the digital menu to the cashiering window. During this time the cars behind me were piling up. When I arrived at the window, I was met with a lady who read my order back to me took my payment and I now awaited my food. Another 15 minutes go by until I actually receive my food. The same lady hands me the food and I say have a nice day to be ignored. This is my smallest complaint because I get it's now "busy" but a simple acknowledgment would have been nice. I check the bag to see if the honey mustard was in there and what do you know, nope. I try for about a couple more minutes to get the ladies attention until finally she pops her head out the window to just say "what". I asked politely for 2 honey mustards and was rudely asked "why didn't you tell me this sooner" as she hands me only one. First off, I did twice, but at this point I just don't want to make any fuss or add to their obvious stress, so I just leave to go home and enjoy my food. I live about 3 minutes away from the joint. I get home to find my chicken fries basically stale and that plain whopper I ordered loaded with everything on it. How hard is it to mess up a patty on a bun. I just wanted some good lunch guys, I've been coming to this location since it opened and have watched it go so downhill the last few months and this was the last straw. I redownloaded yelp just for this review because the service and food was so unacceptable. A two star average should tell you all you need to know about this place. Where did all the nice management go? I 100% understand the stresses the food industry brings (especially the fast food) as I work in restaurant management myself. I acknowledge that issues happen from time to time especially in the kitchen but 75% of the time something has been messed up with my order. It's also not hard to, at the very least, show a little compassion and respect to the customer. It's self sabotage at this point, BK. I ordered 2 items and it took 35ish minutes. That's why your cars are piling up and you get slammed. Your workers seem unhappy and there's something holding you guys back from order accuracy. I'm unsure of what the root cause may be but for me, it's just not worth coming anymore, I'm not even mad just incredibly disappointed. I truly do hope that whatever the issue holding the restaurant back from its former efficiency gets resolved and I wish the best for all the workers from management down. read more

I recently visited this Burger King on 9/4/20. I was disappointed with the attitude of the employees about their use of face masks. On person had his mask hanging from one ear and another down below his nose. I always think if your not obeying the rules where I can see you, how bad are you in areas where I cant see you. The worst Burger King we've ever been to. The cashier told us they do not honor BK coupons and they also will not substitute the Impossible (vegan) patties in their Whoppers even though we said we would pay the difference in price. The Impossible Whopper we ordered at full price was cold, dry and tough, definitely overcooked. I only took one bite before standing in line to complain that I could barely swallow it. They replaced it with another that wasn't any better. If this place fails, it's their own fault. Quality control and customer service are very poor. We'll certainly never go there again. read more

Convenient location, right on US41 & at an exit to I-75. Usually I can live with the service or get the problems fixed but today, the Wopper was really not as good as it should have been. Roll, pickles & burger were fine. About 1/4 of lettuce was wilted & dark. The tomato centers were dark & beginning to rot & tasted odd. Way too little onion. We were taking them home for dinner so we salvaged them by replacing the stuff that was not so good, added onion, mayo & ketchup. There was a problem with payment but it worked out ok. I get better service with less grief at the next BK south on US41, 415 Venice Byp N. @ Albee Farm Rd on the Venice Bypass. My recommendation is if you have about 5 minutes to drive there you'll likely be better off. read more

My husband and I decided to stop in on our way home , went thru the drive in .( It's not that often that we stop at fast food place's ) Ordered a couple of burger's , etc. As we were heading out , I had opened my sandwich and took a bite, it was cold . I turned back around ( hadn't even left the parking lot )and went back thru to the drive in window and told the guy working that this sandwich is cold and that I wanted another . His response was I don't make them . And my response was I want another sandwich , they tried to hand me back the same sandwich . I finally received a warm sandwich. Those sandwiches are only supposed sit for a certain amount of time then they are to be thrown out. I will never spend another cent in that restaurant again. read more
