    Croquetas de Jamon Iberico

Taberna Ole is located at former Gloria's La Trattoria Café Napoli. While it maintained as a Spanish Restaurant, you can see new owners are making change in the menu and renovated the interior substantially. It is very trendy. Now, Taberna Ole is more serve for dinner only. Gone are lunch hours! When we go to Spanish Restaurant, we normally ordered Sangria and Paella. Tonight, we repeated our ritual again. Start off with a glass of Red Sangria. Garnished with slices of apple, orange and a good pour of Sangria, this drink gave you an instant relief of humid Florian weather! There are good wine beer selection as well. There are selections of tapas or small plates but we opted for a seafood Paella and shared an appetizer, Croquetas de Jamon Iberico. Our original was Croquetas de Pollo but our wait staff, Leo suggested ham croquetas is better than the chicken croquetas. The ham croquetas coated with Panko crumbs gave the crunchy feel and the Iberic ham with bechamel gave that savory taste. Leo scored 100%! The seafood paella come with shrimps, clams, mussels, calamari and scallops and cooked with Calasparra rice. Normally, paella is prepared with Saffron gave the traditional golden color and flavor. However, this paella is used a saffron substitute. It tasted so good that I forgot to ask the staff what they use! We rounded off the dinner with a flan with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It is a perfect ending for dinner!

Little late at posting as we were there over a month ago. Got reminded as i am going through my camera roll of food pics. Wonderful restaurant with plenty of tapas style delicious food with live mostly Spanish music on Fridays. Services is always spectacular!

Went to an early dinner at Taberna Ole, a Spanish restaurant in Fort Myers. It is known for its tapas, paella and wine. Last night, we tried their seafood paella. It was delicious and tasty. Their appetizer, croquetas de Jamon Iberico and flan are fine! Hubby loves his Red Sangria here! The wait staff was friendly and accommodating! Over all a good experience at Taberna Ole. Will be back!

Holy smokes, run don't walk to this hidden gem!!! The minute I walked in the vibe was exciting! I couldn't believe this type of space was hidden in a side strip mall off of Cleveland Avenue in Fort Myers! I met a couple of friends for dinner and the food was fantastic! My friend and I started out with a glass of wine and a sangria at the bar as we were waiting on another friend. The wine was delicious and the homemade sangria did not disappoint. this is a Spanish tapas restaurant along with other entrées. my friend and I shared the octopus tapas and churrasco steak entree. Our friend had the gulf shrimp tapas dish and we shared a Spanish version of tomato bread. The complementary bread was delicious as well. Our server Diana was lovely as well as the other staff. The photos were taken after we started eating, sorry.

I tried this restaurant today for the first time, with my mom. It was great, great service and delicious food. We had a great time and we'll definitely come back to try the paella. We had the Basque cheesecake and crema catalana for dessers but forgot to take pictures. They were both delicious!

Delicious Spanish dinner here! Ambiance and service were spot on! Very authentic. Even the Spanish bread was remarkable and delicious! Flan and Burnt Spanish cheesecake both delicious and surprisingly light. The cheesecake is crustless, my GF friends!

This place has been on my list for a while now and I'm so glad I finally made it here last night. Cozy little restaurant with nice ambiance and decor and friendly staff. I love the variety of tapas they have while still offering some great options for those looking to have a full entree. Desserts sounded wonderful but unfortunately we had no room left after all the delicious tapas we have had. Wine list is nice with enough variety but I would highly recommend their sangria! Bar seating can be a great choice on the nights with live music as you will have a front row seat. One thing to note, it seems like they automatically add 20% service charge to all bills despite the size of the party (we were a party of 2) so be careful when leaving a tip so you don't leave 40% and double up and what was already charged. Overall, great experience and we will definitely return to this restaurant!

We were ordered some happy hour priced appetizers such as the Celtic knots, hummus and sausage rolls. All were tasty but I have to admit the knots were my favorite as I love hot pretzels. For dinner hubby and I shared the Hockin or flocking molly. A delicious combination of mashed potatoes and Irish sausages. All our servers were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The weather was also perfect for enjoying the patio. I can't wait to come back for St Patrick's Day!

Bar tenders kept walking past a guy and paid no attention to him. I think 4 ppl bar tenders walked past him to go to tables and ignored him. He tried to get someone's attention with no luck. He put his wallet and credit card out, but that didn't help. Finally, our bartender came back near us finally and asked if we wanted another round but completely ignored him. I said, yes we need drinks, but he would like something, take care of him first. We ordered food and the guy put our food literally on top of our cards while in the middle of playing and trying to dab the cards. Why he didn't put it next to us was beyond me. Overall, I love the place but def some off moments. However, I'm excited to see the new build out and how big it will be.

What a great location! I dined at the bar solo on business…read moretravel and had the pleasure of meeting Lauren and Grant who both excelled in making my dinner and experience exceptional, even though they were also working a crowded room on Mother's Day! The bar has great TVs for watching sports while still maintaining its old world charm. This restaurant is a class act all the way around. I came in the evening and found out that they serve a brunch for the Moms that is so special, it's only offered a time or two a year! Great place for special occasions or to just to treat yourself to a filet mignon and lobster tail done just right!

We started with the mozzarella and prosciutto appetizer with tomatoes. It was an interesting dish and definitely well executed, though I expected a few more tomatoes on the plate. The prosciutto seemed lightly pan-seared, which gave it a crispy texture that I really enjoyed, and the bread was wonderfully crisp as well. Overall, a solid starter. The main event for me was the Kona-crusted bone-in New York strip, cooked medium. I've had this dish at other Capital Grille locations, and it continues to be one of my favorites. The Kona coffee crust paired with the sauce is such a great flavor combination. The steak itself was a very good cut of meat, tender and not tough at all. I personally would have liked a little more sauce, but I can also understand that the coffee marinade and crust are meant to be the star. For dessert, I had the chocolate espresso cake, and it was excellent. It struck a great balance: rich and decadent without being overly sweet. The service was also excellent. I feel bad that I can't remember our server's name, but he mentioned he was fairly new, around seven months in, and he did a wonderful job. Friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. We even left him a taste of our bottle of wine to help him end his shift on a good note.
