Blanc is the shining diamond in the Fort Myers food scene. It really blew me out of the water and it's been my favorite restaurant in the area. Everything from the service to the atmosphere was top notch. The standouts were the escargot with the crostinis and the pork belly. The French lobster soup was delicious but it felt like it got progressively saltier as I continued eating it. However, the pork belly alone deserves 100 stars out of 10. Never in my life have I tasted a pork belly that delicious. I'm salivating just thinking about it. Do yourself a favor and PLEASE get the pork belly it will blow your mind.

Outstanding dinner! What a treat to ourselves this restaurant is. The most delicious pork chop we have had in our lives. No hyperbole. French onion soup is so rich and yummy you could make it an entree. Tuna ceviche cones were delectably spiced with just enough chili. Perfect. Beautiful wine-by-the-glass selections. Wonderful service. My favorite coffee service anywhere! Love being able to view the kitchen--you can even get a kitchen bar seat. I didn't give it 5 stars because of two things: 1) Cesar salad dressing seemed to be mayonnaise based? It's just wrong. 2) The interior is WHITE (in keeping with its name). So the upholstery needs to be sparkling clean if you're going to do white in a commercial environment. We were at Blanc the first year it opened. The interior was dazzling! Now it is a little tired. But a good upholstery cleaning will bring it back. We are definitely returning.

If you can find this little restaurant, you're in for a good time. (It's on the corner between Belini and Blu.) Small inside, decorated in white and green anda little gold. Freddy took care of us. We tried different versions of the $55 3-course meal: artichoke fritters (temperature with a little spice) vs a Jenga tower of bread in a lake of cheese (one of the evening's highlights), a "Cesar" salad (meh) vs mixed green salad (drowning in a good vinaigrette), and steak (better than most) vs lamb chops (salty). The limoncello spritz was light and refreshing, but we didn't have room for dessert. From where I was sitting, I could watch the chefs working quickly in the central kitchen and also see two screens playing photomontages that I dubbed "jazz cats and dogs" and "bottles and glasses of alcohol." It was a weird kind of performance art, I guess. There's complimentary parking in an extensive lot behind the shopping plaza. Not wheelchair accessible (there's a table on the sidewalk in front of the door).

This was our first time dining in this intimate restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. Service, food, drinks, presentation and ambiance were all excellent. We will definitely be returning.

One of our favorite restaurants and one of the best in Fort Myers, FL. Food is always amazing. After the original owner sold, we were worried, but the new owners remain just as consistent when it comes to quality. Great wine selection. Very intimate setting. If you haven't already, go check it out. Worth every penny!

Absolutely an amazing meal and experience! MJ was our waitress she was very attentive and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. If they have the veal, order it! It was wonderful! It's hard to find a restaurant that everyone at the table enjoys their meal but Blanc exceeded everyone's expectations! Cannot wait to come back!

Wow we were blown away by Blanc! We made our reservation in advance as the small spot only has 22 seats. The service and the food was incredible but quite pricey! We had the tuna cones, surf and turf special ($64) and Dover sole special ($64). I cannot recommend this place enough!

We recently ate here for my cousins 40th birthday, overall it was a great experience! The food was delicious, we all ordered from the set menu. I chose the salmon carpaccio, French onion soup, and the rosemary lamb chops with roasted Brussels and a Nigerian prawn. I also ordered their escargot. I think the escargot was surprisingly my favorite, it was bubbling hot and came with crustini. The salmon was buttery and also came with crustini and some kind of creme fraise. The French onion soup was great, but it had too much cheese and not enough onion. It would have been nice to have a small hit of sweet to balance the saltiness. I ordered the extra prawn, I couldn't eat it since it was overcooked and sort of stringy, I wasn't charged for it. The blanc 75 cocktail was super refreshing, I could have had a pitcher. The service was very attentive and the waiter shared the specials and his favorites flawlessly. The space is small, so a reservation for more than two people is super necessary. I would definitely come back.

Everything was just perfect! The food was sooo delicious, service was beautiful and the restaurant was super cute yet elegant in its own way. We will definitely be back. Thank you Eva for making a birthday dinner, one to remember!!!

    Ask the Community - Blanc

Is this a kid friendly restaurant (4 year old)?

My opinion is, children are no doubt welcome, but it is a smaller, quaint, boutique sized restaurant, so it could be louder than other options.

Does this place have any outdoor seating?

Yes, it is limited, but there are a couple tables.

It's it open tonight? I kept calling and it says it's busy

Yes we are open and the phone is ringing like crazy

Does the wait staff wear mask? How far are tables spaced from each other?

The tables are touching each other. We had to ask our neighbors to slide their table over so we could get up. Very very crowded.

This is a niche tapas restaurant catering to those individuals that enjoy expertly prepared food without any pretense. The restaurant itself is very unassuming with seats for 10 at the bar overlooking the kitchen and booths as well as some awkward seating as you first enter the restaurant that can accommodate up to 20 more people. What impressed me as much as the quality of the food was the quality of our server, RAIZA, who on a scale of one to 10 was a 15. She not only knew the food but her expertise with the wine pairings was superb and I think my son really appreciated her input and selections after he had laid out some of his criteria. We ordered eight items for the three of us and they were all unique, wonderfully tasteful and beautifully presented. Each selection is paired with a different wine and you have ample time between selections to chat and talk about how good the next selection will be. Hopefully my pictures will present an accurate account of how wonderful everything was. This is not the kind of restaurant that I would personally return to on a regular basis but I would welcome the opportunity to come here once a year just to be reminded of how food/dining can be a joyous occasion. It was clear from our visit that liberty has a devout following. It was interesting that there were no salt and pepper shakers on the table and this was for the obvious reason that the food came to the table properly seasoned with no extras required. I would have to say our eight selections were ample but on the light side. We arrived at our reservation time at 5:45 and departed at 7:45, a very leisure dining experience. To summarize, liberty will continue to thrive as long as they are able to maintain their high standards of food and service, kudos to ownership and staff for providing such a unique experience in Fort Myers. The medium rare chocolate chip cookies were good but the cinnamon toast crunch ice cream was beyond compare and I certainly could've used a man's size portion of that as it was so delicious.

The staff, from the hostesses to the waiters, are always kind, professional, and do a great job. I truly have no complaints about the restaurant itself. I'm writing this review because of a very strange experience we had that I feel compelled to share. We had a reservation for my mom's birthday. When we arrived, our table wasn't quite ready because the previous guests were still sitting there after paying their bill. This was absolutely not the restaurant's fault, and we had no issue waiting while the table was being cleared. Another couple came in and was in the same situation, also waiting. There was one open booth, and the host let us know it was reserved by request. Totally fine, no one had an issue with that. Then a third couple arrived, and that booth was assigned to them. While I was simply talking to my mom, the woman from that couple suddenly got in my face and yelled, "We live here!!!" and then walked off to the table. She came off very angry and mean, which completely caught me off guard, as well as the other couple waiting; they were also very taken back. It was such bizarre behavior. The situation had nothing to do with tourists, snowbirds, or who "lives here." We also live here year-round, had a reservation, and weren't upset or making faces, we were just waiting patiently. The entire interaction was confusing and unnecessary. To be clear, this review has nothing to do with the restaurant, which we love and will continue to return to. This is more of a message to that woman, in the off chance she reads this: that was one of the strangest and most uncomfortable interactions I've ever had in a restaurant, and it made absolutely no sense. Maybe don't do that next time.
