I initially ordered the Frutti di Mare seafood pasta with added steak. While beautifully prepared, the seafood flavor was slightly stronger than my personal preference. Food and service is top tier, Jenna is awesome! Love Veal, you MUST try their veal parmigiana! They use really high quality pasta and everything is always extremely fresh! My parents ordered a pizza and Chicken Marsala, both amazing as well they also have one of the best house salad dressings ever! Ambiance is perfect! There last night with friends and we had a GREAT server at our table out on the patio, JENNA. Very professional, personable and engaging and helpful with the menu selections. Very knowledgeable about a lot there. She didn't miss a beat. But, as always with people I meet in my life, a great sense of humor. We did have some laughs. Rolled into town from DC at around 9pm and everything closed but stumbled upon Divieto. Place lively, packed, staff friendly and not mad that we arrived so late. Our waiter was amazing. I had a long conversation with Ramon the General Manager. He was looking for me, according to him. Ramon was very polite and nice. I started the conversation by saying that I'm not looking for any discount or free meal!!! I came here with my parents after Christmas because no one wanted to cook after the holidays. We love Italian food, and have been here before. We sat on the patio because we brought the dog. The patio is beautiful and it was filled with people. My dad ordered the fettuccine which is finished in a giant cheese wheel. It was really cool to see. My mom had the Marsala which was served on top of pappardelle noodles. I had the vongole pasta because I love clams, especially opening them. All were delicious. The fettuccine was amazing. The ambiance is dark and classy, was very busy. The bread and oil was good and warm. Got calamari which was crispy not too oily, had fried zucchini in it which was interesting but not bad. Serving wasn't overwhelming given the price. The pear salad was massive and was shared between 4 people easily. A tad overdressed but was still good. I got the frutti di mar seafood pasta and there was a generous amount of seafood and the sauce was so good! I tried chicken picatta and the sauce was light and lemony which also had generous chicken. The cheese wheel pasta was interesting... I get its aged cheese but it was a little too sour (?) and grainy for my liking, not very creamy imo. And came with no protein for almost $30 seemed steep. We sat at the bar and all 3 of the bartenders were fantastic. we got calamari which was lightly battered but crispy with a delicious aioli for dunking. we ordered entrees, and due to some dietary restrictions, i asked for no arugula or tomato on my pear fiocchi. i forgot to add on the side of spinach, but our bartender was able to have it sent out with our entrees! when we received our entrees i was a bit disappointed. on the menu, it didn't state that there was also balsamic on the pear fiocchi. when the bartender asked how our entrees were, i stated that i didn't know that the balsamic was on the pasta and asked if i could have one without. he said absolutely with a smile and brought it over to the manager who was at the end of the bar. he calmly stated that i didn't know that balsamic was on it and asked if a new one could be made. she started making a stink that i didn't want arugula, tomato, OR balsamic and made a nasty face which quickly changed when she saw i was looking. it definitely wasn't loud enough where i couldn't hear her; especially since we were only 4 seats from where she was standing. when my re-fire came was brought back out by the bartender, it was delicious. overall, the whole meal was fantastic. drinks, apps, entrees, and desserts. i just couldn't help feeling awful of the tone she was using toward the bartender and the face she made. after apologizing to our bartender, i got the feeling that it is something that happens frequently as he was unfazed by her behavior. read more

We went to Divieto to celebrate our mom turning the big 7-0 (she looks fabulous, by the way--just like the ambiance here). From the moment we sat down, the service was next-level--shout-out to our server Brandon, who deserves a standing ovation. He asked all the right questions, like a culinary therapist, and guided us through the menu like we were on a Michelin-starred expedition. I'll admit: I'd read the Yelp reviews and saw nothing about the sea bass--was it a secret flop? Brandon confidently set me straight, and thank the pasta gods I listened: the sea bass was divine, flaky perfection. Our table also devoured:    *   The pork shank Ossobuco--tender enough to make you cry tears of joy.    *   The Tuscan Salmon--flavorful but a smidge overcooked (hey, even culinary wizards have off moments). The fried polenta that came with the Salmon straight-up chef's kiss.    *   The Mascarpone pasta--like the Avengers of seafood, chicken, and veggies united by a sauce that deserves its own fan club.    *   The pizza... okay, we were warned by Brandon that there were better options, but we ignored him. My husband and I went here for dinner on a Thursday evening and they were packed! We didn't have reservations but luckily got seated right away. Jamie was our server and she was very friendly and made excellent suggestions. We started off with a glass of Whispering Angel ( my favorite rosé) my husband went for a dirty martini both hit the spot. Our appetizer was the spinach dip. It was creamy and delicious with toast that was soft and buttery. For dinner I went with the recommendation of the sea bass and it didn't disappoint. Rich, flaky and creamy, served with risotto and asparagus. My husband had the mascarpone pasta which he loved. The servings were large enough that we both had leftovers. I had been wanted to try this place as they have cheese wheel fettuccine. Finally we were here for late lunch. This is an upscale Italian restaurant located at Coconut Point. We started off with some cocktails and toasted warm bread. My smoked old fashioned was good. The drink came with smoke trapped in a glass. It was nice presentation. A lot of the items on the menu look good and it was hard to make a decision. We went for the signature Parmigiano-Reggiano wheel fettuccine and the mushroom risotto. We began our experience with a cocktail. I opted for the smoked old fashioned which was a beautifully applewood smoked version of a classic old fashioned. It's served over a ice block and is cherry garnished (possibly Luxardo?) as it should be. It was lovely. My dining companion and I ordered the pear salad to share (it's definitely ample enough for a starter for two). It was crisp and delicious with pears, crisp romaine, candied walnuts, cherry tomatoes, and goat cheese that is then tossed in just the right amount of citrus dressing. It was a delight. For our main, we got the wild mushroom pasta. It consists of capellini pasta with both portobello and wild mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, fresh spinach, tossed in a herbaceous mushroom gravy. I came to this restaurant for my birthday. It is really beautiful establishment. The employees were very nice and helpful. The management team came around and checked on us at the table. If there was something that I did not like they replaced it and made it the best experience ever. The ambience was very laid-back and nice. And the food was amazing. They had a lunch special and I got the chicken Alfredo pasta, which was very good. The waitress and the waiter both had the best customer service experience that I could ever imagine. I was gifted with a birthday surprise which was very good and they also gave me a birthday card where all of the waitresses and waiters and the staff signed it for me, which I thought was very, very thoughtful.
