This wad the first time trying Bistro 41. It was delicious! ...and expensive. We started with wine and I had a Willy Wonkatini (chocolate martini) .. it was really good! (kinda on the smaller side) i did end up getting a second one ($15 each). For apps we got the tuna cervichi and flatbread. (I do not eat raw tuna, so I have no option on that dish. But the rest of the table ate it up) The flat bread was great too. It had black olives, figs, tomatoes and lots of cheese. For dinner we each ordered something different. I got the crab cake stuffed Salmon with seasoned spinach and mashed topped with, what i think the waitress said was lobster sauce.. altho my friend that got the seafood risotto was supposed to have the same sauce on top but hers was a much more red color. The risotto was another great dish. It had scallops, big shrimps and muscles in it. Cooked perfectly. My friend had the Sicilian Penne. He said: It was a delicious pasta dish with sausage and cannellini beans. The Gorgonzola cheese was an amazing addition that really took the dish to the next level. Our server Sydney was great. She let us know they were short staffed some wait ataff and she may have been backed up (there was probably 6 tables in there at the time idk.. where I waitress i have a 12 table station, and its fast paced..) but she still a great job. The restaurant its self love nice after the renovations, but inqoukdnhave never known it was a finer dining place rather then a typical breakfast diner from the outside of it. Ill be back! We decided to dine at 41 Bistro last night because we were intrigued by the Sizzle menu. My husband is an Executive Chef and we are picky where we dine out because if he can make it at home better than the restaurant, then we don't really need to dine there. This restaurant was amazing! We dined with one of our friends. The owner was present on the floor and made sure all of our needs were addressed. He shared how the dishes were prepared and told us about using only fresh ingredients. Each of us got something different for an appetizer. I had a fig salad, which was really interesting and delicious. My husband had a Caesar salad. And my friend had onion soup. All were great! For dinner, I ordered shrimp scampi. Amazingly delicious. My husband had a pork sirloin and the demi-glace was next level. Probably one of the best I've ever had. My friend had the Branzino. She raved about it. For dessert I had tiramisu. It was good. My husband and his friend had rice pudding. I would order that if I went again. All of the food including the desserts is made in house. All of the food is wild caught. You're not getting shrimp from a shrimp farm. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Tastefully renovated, and even has a private event room. Fully stocked beautiful Bar. And we enjoyed watching Bella, the resident robot, deliver food to the tables (see my video). Such a treat! Best Thing I Ever Ate: Veal Marsala We visited the 41 Bistro twice on our last trip to Fort Myers. On the first trip, my husband and I split a Fig Salad. I got a Seafood Risotto special, and my husband got the lasagna. I really loved everything in the Fig Salad. It's a great combination of flavors. The Seafood Risotto special was spectacular. They didn't skimp on the amount of seafood in the dish, and the tomato based sauce was delicious. I liked the lasagna more than my husband did. Extra points for the wonderful tapenade stuff that comes with the bread. I couldn't stop eating the stuff! On our second trip, my husband and I split the Fig Salad again. It's just that good! I can't even remember what I got because my husband's Veal Marsala was so good. I think it was the best I've ever had. Fantastic! read more

Lovely atmosphere, great service, amazing presentation of dishes. Staff knew every detail of dishes that had me changing my mind on what to have with their descriptions. We started with the Fig Flatbread- so good, French onion soup- amazing finish with every drop and then the special of the evening seafood risotto. This place looks very non De script on the outside with its Bumblebee colors. However once you walk in your surrounded with elegance and luxury. Prices are very reasonable and food is phenomenal. My hubby ordered their lasagna while I ordered angel hair pasta bolognese. Wow! What a treat for our tastebuds. The food was the most delicious that so r ever tasted. We ordered a bottle of Aqua Panna. A very crisp and clean pure water. Very refreshing. We shared a salad with Italian dressing. Such fresh vegetables and so very good. They were out of Beef Carpaccio so opted for calamaris, they were able to sauté vs deep fried. Definitely a repeat , hope they can maintain the service and price. I am truly sorry to give such a poor review, but I have to tell the truth and keep in mind that this is for me and my wife. My wife first noticed that her crab or creamy crab soup whatever the name of it was, well, it was extremely salty. I thought maybe because she doesn't eat a lot of salty things that she just thought it was so salty. I tried it and I almost gagged. Not because it tasted bad but because it was so salty. Now, if you're someone who likes a lot of salt it would be very delicious for you because it did actually taste good other than the saltines which we felt was way overboard even for me someone who does use salt on a regular basis. The waitress was very nice and asked her if she would like to change it out And so my wife changed to the French onion soup and it was just as salty. Like somebody accidentally dumped a whole container of salt on it. And being that we felt the prices were kind of high. We both got cheeseburgers. She got the one with mushrooms and I got the more traditional one. She said that the Beef didn't really have much of a taste to it and Sedc said that Culver's hamburger tasted much better. Not just a little better but much much better and I have to agree. Just last week I had a Culver's burger and I do say that it was much better and cheaper. I got fries and they were very plain Jane fries. Probably the cheap ones from Publix in the frozen food area that they just heated up. Not even the higher priced fries. The ambience was very nice. The waitress was nice, however, when my wife asked for paper napkins. versus those cloth napkins that they put on your table for viewing, and it looked like she was going to get them, but she completely forgot and there was only one other couple in the restaurant and they were taken care of by the other waiter so I would hate to see when it got busy. Only one table and you forget the napkins that we just asked for? Other than that, she was very good and very nice and I hate to give her this review but i'm doing an honest review here. Everything was very nice about the restaurant except for how salty the soups were. They have a cute little robot that brings food out to the table. Like I said, everybody was so nice even the other waiters, but the price we had to pay, didn't feel like we got the value out of the meal. For paying 10 or 12 bucks for a hamburger, you would think it would taste amazing. The cook needs to have someone he trusts to tell the truth taste the soups for him. It doesn't help if that person is a kiss-up though or afraid of the cook. Cook, that was way overkill. I do know a person who would love it because they love pouring tons of salt on everything. Overall, I wasn't surprised because the place didn't have any activity on Father's Day. These pictures were taken around 11:30 or so. Other places, on Father's Day that open at 11, have people waiting at the door to get inside in five minutes after opening, the restaurant is usually full. Even until noon, we were the only ones there with one other couple and they were an old couple like in their upper 80s. I was slightly disappointed, but now that's behind me. For me, it's a one time restaurant. Message for the cook, if you can season things better, then the restaurant might have more return customers. Notice the word more. You may have returned customers That are used to your cooking, but you might even have more if it wasn't too salty. read more

Visited my sister in Ft Myers and found a great HH spot. 3PM - 5PM. I ordered a martini with a twist and sister ordered a Pinot Grigio. I only needed one martini to feel toasty hehe and I also tried the Pinot Grigio and very good for being on HH. Food wise, we got shrimp scampi, fig bruschetta and mussel with white wine. All so good but fig bruschetta was a standout . Our bartender even gave us extra bread to soak up all the juice. Yum !! 4.5 stars for HH! read more

With 41 Bistro new to the area, we checked out the menu online and saw they have some great dishes. We ordered carry out and had a mixed experience. The good: ingredients are high quality and the portion sizes are plenty you'll have left overs. I had the cajun chicken and shrimp pasta. The sauce was the perfect blend of creamy/cajun kick. The bad: we ordered the chicken capricciosa, but they forgot to give us the mashed potatoes and the chicken needed some salt. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza and asked "for half cheese half pepperoni". They literally thought I didn't want cheese on half of the pizza and just layered it w pepperoni/sauce. If you drive along US 41 South heading toward Bonita Spring or North Naples, you noticed there was an Old Fashion Diner called 41 Diner with ample parking around. It offered diner food and soup and salad bar. With an amazing soup and salad bar, 41 Diner gave Sweet Tomato a run for their money! Several months ago, the owner did some renovation by removing the Soup and Salad Bar and revised their menu. The exterior is now in Gold and Black. It is leaning to Italian food. It is now called 41 Bistro! Some of our locals may be confused with former Bistro 41 located in Bell Tower Shopping Mall further north on Daniel Parkway. Bistro 41 closed its door after over 20+ years of excellent service. We were in the area and decided to try the new "41 Bistro" for lunch. We were greeted and seated immediately. Soup and Salad Bar is gone! One look at the menu and you can tell this is an "Italian Diner" as we are very familiar with "Greek Diner" in New York. Our server, Drew, very professional and friendly welcome us and served beverage. My standard test dish in an Italian restaurant is Linguine Pescatore or Linguine alle Vongole. Drew suggested Linguine Pescatore, one of their most popular dishes. My wife ordered Chicken Piccata. Linguine Pescatore came with clams, mussels, shrimps and calamari cooked with slices of garlic, basil and fresh tomato. Clams, mussels, shrimps and calamari are good size. In particular, the calamari are very tender and not rubbery. The light tomato sauce, seafoods and linguine is just perfect for this dish! Wife loves her Chicken Piccata, the chicken is tender and the right amount of Piccata is used! We were so satisfied with the dishes, the thought of dessert simply evaporated! Robotic Server is employed to speed up service to ensure you enjoy your hot meal. Price is reasonable! Very nice! What can I say about 41 Bistro? We stopped in for lunch but this would be a worthy visit for dinner as well based on reading the menu. Up until recently this was a diner only open to mid afternoon. They remodeled and redefined themselves into a lunch and dinner spot that will grow rapidly in popularity as folks visit. The inside has a modern feel with ample seating. They have a nice patio space which would be lovely in the evening. Drew, our server, was welcoming and fun. He checked on us regularly throughout our lunch. They have robots that deliver the food to your table where the server then presents. The soup of the day was French onion. We each got a bowl of that and ordered salads. I had the Mediterranean and my sister in law had the Fig salad, swapping in feta for Gorgonzola. The soup was delicious with its melty cheese on bread and oniony goodness underneath. We both enjoyed that. My salad hit it. Tomatoes, Kalamata olives, roasted peppers, cucumbers and red onion all dressed in red wine vinaigrette on a base of arugula and topped with a wonderfully creamy feta. My sister in law's salad had a bed of mixed greens adorned with figs, mandarin oranges, pistachios and a delicate Zinfandel vinaigrette with her requested feta. She enjoyed it. We both had salad to bring home. I appreciate that this restaurant uses hand held credit card devices for payment. It is nice to see this as a developing trend around the country. First visit to 41Bistro and was impressed with the food ,the staff ,cleanliness and the reasonable prices. Good beer and wine selections to go with quality food. Went at lunch time and Drew our waiter was informative on different menu items and stayed on top of the service. The soup of the day was a nice red pepper and crab soup that reminded me of lobster bisque. That plus the shrimp po-boy and tartufo ice cream dessert made a nice meal. Others had veal marsala, chicken parm and fig salad. Everything was tasty and fresh and did I mention reasonably priced. Oh well make the best of it, we figured we could have lunch. We were told we could only order from the dinner menu!?! It's odd because on their website it says lunch is served daily. Imagine getting large entrees at 11:30am. The food was fine. It just wasn't the experience I expected. The waiter was indifferent. I have been here before. I really like 41 Bistro. Robot was weird but fun I guess? Service was great and very friendly. One exception was one of the staff who needed a shower or deodorant. Sadly the food is not that great. The breaded items we ordered had breading falling off. It seems clear that some effort to preserve the crust on items like veal parmigiana sandwich and the chicken francaise would be appropriate. It is a bit threadbare in terms of ambience. I am sure this restaurant was amazing when first created but it needs some love. Robots are fun but only if you have nailed everything else. read more

Waitress just blamed on cook and didn't offer to fix it. Don' get me wrong, it wasn't bad but cannot eat sausage due to transplant surgery. I had heard/read good things about 41 Bistro, for example from Martin, so decided to check it out. It is on 41 South, just before you reach Estero, next to a CVS. Do not judge a book by its cover! The outside still looks like the diner it once was. However, inside is a very pleasant ambiance and nice soft music playing. We dined there early last evening, a Wednesday. When we arrived only about six tables were occupied, but it filled up by 630 pm. Ray was our friendly and very attentive server. And she had help from "Bella" the robot that delivers the food to the table. We had already had our appetizer before arriving, so skipped that course. But started with a couple of glasses of wine. For dinner, we had Veal Piccata, $26. and a Seafood pasta special, $29. Both dinners came with salad, we both had Cesar with anchovies ($2 extra). Everything was simply delicious. When leaving, I told the manager, "Sometimes a restaurant presents a dish like I had with very little seafood on top of a few pounds of pasta, but you served a dinner with LOTS of seafood, and cooked perfectly." I dined with my sister who lives in Estero. She said that she plans to return soon and often with friends from her community. read more

Very meh. Our server was great, but unfortunately that is the only positive out of our experience. We dined in the weekend before Christmas with family, having heard good reviews, but our experience didn't match what we have heard. The food was just ok, nothing spectacular. The bread was hard and cold, and not what I would expect from an Italian restaurant. Our food took over an hour to come out despite the restaurant being half full. Then, when pre bussing our table, a fork was dropped off a plate onto my purse, staining it and ruining a very nice and expensive bag. Unfortunately, I've tried cleaning it since and there is still a spot from the pasta sauce. read more

The service I experienced at the bar was top notch. The owner works in the restaurant and he is a really nice guy. I started with the mussels app and they were amazing. Followed that with a Caesar salad which was really good. Then I decided to try the chicken marsala and it was just ok. Prices were pretty reasonable snd the pizza pictures on the menu looked amazing.
