I almost deployed my calibrated decibel-detection device tonight, complete with weighted A-scale readings and ambient baseline controls but then I remembered some fragile soul once reviewed BrickTop's as "too loud," with HIS OWN decibel device so I decided to spare the room the science experiment. Tragic. Food and drinks? Excellent across the board. French dip was on point, burger either an over easy egg snd multiple apps disappeared quickly, baked potato done right, and the espresso martinis were dangerously good. Major shout-out to Ashley behind the bar -- absolute pro -- though honestly the entire bar staff deserves applause. Watching the bartenders run the room is like watching a choreographed ballet. They somehow keep a mental spreadsheet of the waitlist, open seats, timing, and guest flow, seamlessly slotting people in without chaos or drama. It's impressive, calm, and clearly run by people who know exactly what they're doing. Now, to the inevitable dog commentary: yes, restaurants have rules. Yes, health codes exist. And no, a dog in a baby stroller is not a service animal. That stroller should be reserved for, stay with me here, babies. Leave your dog at home for two hours. It will survive. So will you. I will happily return to any restaurant that enforces Collier County health code, serves great food and drinks, and employs a staff that runs the room with confidence and competence. Walked in Saturday night to a busy dining room and were lucky to snag a table on the outside patio with no wait. We were promptly offered drinks and bread service. The bread was so soft and tasted like pretzel dough, delicious. Ordered a couple Filets which came cooked to order and were very tender. Baked potato was huge. Finally, we decided to try the cookie skillet which is pretty basic - a cookie with ice cream big enough for 2 to share. It was a nice end to our meal. read more

Bricktops has been a staple at Waterside Shops for years. I would take my very young children to Bricktops due to the colorful artwork and cookie skillet with ice cream. 20 years later, we're back. The experience was nostalgic. My son enjoyed a cheeseburger with fries. I ordered a Wedge Salad, blue cheese on the side with a beer and a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Although dining outdoors took a bit to get used to due to heat, we still managed to enjoy the people watching and beautiful landscape. The meal was good, not great. The cookie skillet with ice cream got much smaller. We ordered an xtra scoop of ice cream due to the small portion. Overall, Bricktops brings good memories and a nice dining experience. read more

Decided to stop by after I've heard so many recommendations of this place. Came in on a Sunday, bar was packed and many in the seating area. Lots of employees running around. Ordered the burger which was amazing, definitely the best of the items we got. Then onto the BLT eggs Benedict which was just a let down. We say at the bar and had great service. My friends recommended the deviled eggs but they were gone so fast I didn't get a picture. They were divine with millionaire (candied) bacon. Yum! My hubby and I got the French Dip. The meat was shaved thin and was so tender and delicious. He got the fries which are shoestring and fab and I got the cole slaw which I loved. My friend got the butter crab sushi roll which has a dollop of spice on top. It's very good but keep in mind it's imitation crab. Sadly, we've been to this location several times. This time, not so good. All but two, got the bt breakfast. Most of the food was cold. By the time we were checked on, it made no difference, since time was done. One person got the casserole, of which he only ate half. I think we would have had a much better and more reasonably priced meal at a diner and we all decided that we will, in the future, only go there for dinner. read more

Though the food is expensive it is one of the best restaurants in Naples. I usually get the burger and it is amazing. I got this time, it was brunch so some one in my group got the French toast. Bricktop has been one of my favorite restaurants through the years, however, I am very disappointed in the manager and their attitude about pets in their outdoor area I have a small dog who is very well be behaved. We take her with us most of the time and eat outdoors in different restaurants. We were told by the manager of Bricktops, who was quite an unpleasant person, that our dog was not allowed because they only allowed service dogs. The manager pointed to a sign that said, "state law says no dogs allowed." But whrn researching the validity of that law, it states that it is strictly up to the restaurant. It is not a state law. That sign in the lobby is a misrepresentation of the law. Bricktop has the right not to allow dogs, but it is not a state law. They need to own up to their preference instead of hiding behind a sign that is not. read more

This is the second time I have eaten here this time we had dinner. We both ordered the Ahi tuna the fish was fresh no gristle. The stirfry was terrific. we had their carrot cake for dessert and it is one of the best carrot cakes I've ever had. this is definitely on our list as a go to place in Naples seems to be consistently good. read more

And the Yelp description--Chic Bistro--absolutely! Our party of 3 had 2 hamburgers and a seafood salad. All very good. And a beer, a specialty drink and a chardonnay--again very good. I love this place. I had to try it a few times to be sure they were consistently good, and they are! I've been to a lot of restaurants around the world, and it's always really great to find a local spot that offers exceptional food and quality like BrickTop's. Sitting at the bar, you'll always meet someone interesting, and the bartenders are so on top of their game that they seem to be able to anticipate your needs before you know you have them! I consider myself a bit of an expert on Eggs Benedict, and this place has my new favorite: the BLT Benedict. Crispy bacon, a slice of tomato and lettuce, PERFECTLY POACHED EGGS, and the best hollandaise I've ever had (extra buttery and lemony). Seriously, I would eat this every week if I could afford the calories... it's incredible. I will return to BrickTop's often and can't recommend it enough to all of my friends. read more

The food was good, but not worth the very high prices. The service was attentive and very professional, but not friendly or welcoming in the least. Seems like staff is told not to smile. Everyone sitting at the bar ate a meal - no one was at the bar just for drinks. Business was bustling the night we went. On busy nights you have to flag down a particular bartender to get on the wait-list to sit at the bar. You can't just sit down. I was even invited to the grand opening, and it quickly became a place where my friends and I loved going for Happy Hour, lunch, and dinner. For me, Saturdays often meant lunch at BrickTop's with my favorite appetizer--the Shanghai Shrimp--and a glass of Prosecco. After the pandemic, though, I noticed changes. Management cut the portion size of the Shanghai Shrimp and raised the price. This happened right after the busy winter season when things usually slow down. I asked the bartender about it, and he confirmed what I suspected--that portions had been reduced and prices increased. As a year-round patron, you notice things like this. I even sent a note to management, but never received a response. Since then, I haven't gone back, and many of my friends haven't either. Wow this place is top of the line in my opinion. Waited only about 15 mins for a table. When we got sat we had a wonderful server. The food was delicious. I got a chicken entree and my partner got a trout entree. We shared the millionaire bacon and deviled eggs they was so delicious and sipped on some Arnold palmers. Yummy. This rating is low because of one thing only - the unbearable noise level experienced during dinner a few days ago. While the food was fine, service was attentive and professional, and the visual atmosphere charming, the noise was a sustained 81 dB. This is comparable to a lawnmower, blender, or garbage disposal. We had to shout to be heard. My ears were ringing for four hours afterward. I consider this makes it a no go place for protection of my hearing. read more

I'm bummed that the only time I made it to Waterside Mall during our trip to Naples was to eat at BrickTops, but it certainly was a good meal! We had trouble booking a table for our party of 9 so ended up getting 2 tables: one for adults...and another for our 5 kids. A shout out to the waiter who had to put up with our kids for the night, but he was a champ! Our friends had suggested BrickTop's since they are big fans when visiting Naples and I can see why. They actually have many fans based on how busy they were! The atmosphere is casual yet fun...and the food was pretty good too! After a long day of swimming with my kids I started with a titos martini and our friends had ordered apps for the table before we arrived. They chose perfectly with deviled eggs and grilled artichokes. Both were great! For my entree I ordered the grilled trout. I wish I had gotten the sauce on the side to make it a little healthier, but it was probably one of the best meals I had all week in Naples. My husband and I split our favorite dessert, key lime pie, for dinner. We had a lot of key lime pies during our 2 week vacation in Florida and this one was just A-OK. Joe's Stone Crab in Miami definitely won the best key lime pie, but tough for any restaurant to compete with that. Our kids were in heaven between the food and having us several tables away. They filled their stomachs with ribs, chicken fingers and too many desserts! We hardly heard a peep from them since they were so happy with both the food and company. We have been coming here for years. Since the inflation Biden era, serving sizes and quality continue to decline. It was always excellent service and portions to share. Drinks were great and robust flavor. Tonight and the last few times over the last couple of years ... not so much. If the meatloaf normal portion got any smaller there wouldn't be anything on the plate. They serve with two sides which is a creamy mashed potato and the second side is legit ONE onion ring ... ONE. The sauce on the meatloaf tasted like straight up ketchup. Not spiced like it used to be. The Shanghai shrimp is now 6 pieces for $20 is absurd so we've stop bothering with that some time ago. The deviled eggs and bacon were delicious and I would say $18 felt acceptable and I would order again. The drinks were not enjoyable tonight and the worst we've ever had. Canned tonic versus glass bottled tonic makes a difference in flavor. And the tonic is flatter. The charred grapefruit tastes very different now like cheap commercial Grapefruit juice, way too sweet, and not sure it had much vodka and this is a signature drink. It's a great atmosphere and enjoyable bar. Service has always been great at the bar. Sadly the food and drinks would keep me from returning. I'm willing to pay for good food and if they returned to what they used to be perhaps returning would be worth it. At this point we won't be back. They make millions in profit a year so I doubt the two of us not returning will have much impact. read more

Bricktops is one of my all-time favorite places to go in Naples, FL. They just get it right. They have a relaxing atmosphere which is one of my most favorite things. Their food is delicious cooked to perfection.. I love their palm salad, their sushi is fabulous, their seared tuna is great, salmon, chicken. Food was fresh and delicious, but the atrocious way we were treated by a server named Nikolay was absolutely deplorable and I hope that if management is reading this, they re-train him or fire him immediately because he will make customers never want to come back. He started out by asking us what country we were from and even though it was none of his business, we told him. Then he proceeded to doubt we were from said middle eastern country because quote "I don't believe it, aren't people from that country darker?" Wow! It's not my job to educate ignorant people while I'm trying to eat lunch, much less have my culture attacked by an idiotic server. Oh, but it doesn't end there! He then proceeds to try his very best to upsell us on everything and apply pressure for us to order drinks. We say several times that we just want water, and he just stands there and mocks us and says are you sure, are you sure, well at least do you want your water with lemon or do you want just plain BORING water? WTF!! This guy is so awkward and clearly can't take any cues. By this time I'm already pissed because this a-hole has already ruined our lunch and I haven't even ordered yet. We order and he again proceeds to try to pressure us into ordering appetizers. Just will not take a hint and will not take no for an answer, just keeps pushing and pushing. When my lunch mate asks for a side with her entree, he then proceeds to criticize her choice, telling her that she shouldn't order that with the entree she's getting. It's none of your business, just take the order - my goodness I've never had a more aggressive server who made lunch so f'ing AWKWARD and AWFUL. He had the gall to try to push dessert and at that point I had had more than enough and told him to just bring our check. He gives us the check, I give him my credit card and he awkwardly folds the check around my credit card and sticks it in the back pocket of his pants as he walks away. I can only hope he didn't swipe or steal my credit card information. Not sure why this restaurant doesn't use portable credit card processors like other restaurants do. In summary, this could have been such a nice lunch with great food, but because of this server, it was the most awkward and uncomfortable meal of my life. I wanted to talk to a manager, but I didn't want him to see us complaining about him, and just really wanted to leave at that point. read more
