For those who have been to Trader Sam's at Disneys Polynesian Resort…read more... Picture that, but less theatrics. Ie Great Vibe, same style tiki drinks, the menu book is fashioned in the same leather bound style... I actually took a break from my phone and watched the bar tenders make the drinks.. I already plan to come back. For those reading...it's true what everyone else is probably already saying...if rocking up in a big group...come super early or else you will be waiting and hour or more. I got lucky as it was just me.

The very definition of unnecessary pretension!…read more This pretentious place doesn't belong in Bonita Springs. More like 5th Avenue Naples. It would fit right in down there. I live right around the corner from this joint. I was riding my bike past when I heard a band playing inside. They sounded fun, so I walked inside to see the band and to sample their cocktails, since I had never been inside before. I was alone. A few seconds after entering, an employee asked me "How many in your party?" I said, "Just me." The employee said "Follow me." and escorted me back out the front door! Turns out there was a wait list for entering! For one person? There was plenty of room inside the joint for one person to enter and enjoy the music. There was no call to have a solo occupant on their every first experience inside this place to be escorted out 30 seconds after going inside. That's the very definition of inhospitable! If I had been in a party of 2, 3, 4, 5 or 8 people, I would have understood having to wait outside until there was room. But I was by myself! Not only that, there is a large patio in the back of the place for overflow, but instead of letting their waiting guests sit back there comfortably, the owners of this place prefer to have their customers line up like cattle outside the front door like it is trying to be Studio 54 or some urban night club with a fake wait list. I have never been escorted out of a bar before, especially to create the illusion the place was more popular and too busy to accept a single person when there was A TON OF ROOM INSIDE. It was extremely annoying and totally pretentious. I won't be going back to this place, ever. Not hospitible in the least! Negative stars, if it was possible.

Probably my favorite sizzle of this past season!…read more The dumplings and broccoli were so good! I honestly could have eaten a whole plate of just the broccoli hah. For my entree I had the wagyu and it was cooked perfectly. They sizzle menu was the same portion size as the regular menu which was fabulous. Then I finished with the guava cheesecake ragoons and for someone who doesn't love guava they were pretty freaking good! The rooftop adds such a cute vibe and a perfect photo op! Service was fast and our server was the perfect amount of attentive, we were there for my friends birthday and they were all really nice!

Beautiful location with wonderful views. You have an option of outdoor and inside seating, and…read morewe've chosen to sit inside. Beautiful ambiance, Asian style, very attractive. Food is really creative, but many of the dishes are just ungodly sweet. Charred kale salad was probably the best kale salad I ever had, perfectly delicious and highly recommended. The roasted Brussels sprouts, on another hand, were really, really sweet. The French toast with duck was really creative, but again, really, really, sweet. Seafood fried rice was excellent, very tasty. The "cinnamon roll" desert was just a riot. It was huge in size and delicious to the last morsel. Excellent service, prompt and attentive. Recommended, but if you don't like sweet cuisine, you will need to be careful with your choice.

Everything we ate especially the short rib. Dessert are to die for. Compliments to the Chef once again for having a knockout menu.

Great restaurant and dinner service from Christina, she's a fantastic server. We didn't know he…read morewas the owner at first, but Tim was attentive to us and every table there throughout the evening. If you like different flavors, this is the place. It is very unique. My first course a Caesar salad had some brown romaine, so I returned it though it had great flavors, but wasn't wanting to wait for a new fresh one to be made, so they took it off the bill and insisted on an immediate complimentary beet salad replacement which I took them up on. The beets and cheese part was awesome. I didn't mention it to them, but I used to be an executive chef of high end white table cloth restaurants years ago all over the SE including New Orleans, Atlanta, Tampa, so I was very impressed with their wanting to make us all extremely happy and make up for the salad mistake. The flavors in the Tuna Tare Tare, Shrimp Ceviche was incredible, and my Lamb Shank had some of the best spices I have ever tasted in a shank. Then the owner insisted on a comp baklava dessert for our mother's birthday and it was a very unique original flambe' presentation. Most of the places I was a chef at, the servers had to do old school tableside caesar with the egg yolk, dinner like Steak Diane, dessert and flambe' drinks and I realized how rare that this is these days. Many restaurants could learn from Amber Cove, as they turned a somewhat little disappointing salad start to a great evening with class.
