This place is hands down one of my new favorite places. The atmosphere outside is a perfect hangout spot, you can not beat the prices, and the food is so delicious. When I arrived at midnight on a Saturday I was hoping to find a live band playing, surprisingly there was no one there. Parking was extremely difficult, they have a little fenced off area that is the "parking lot" but it's really small and only fits 3 cars. It was a tight squeeze getting in there, I could barely fit an SUV but I made it. Upon leaving I almost backed into the fence. When I walked inside I realized how small the place was. I did not want to eat in there, because the outside area was much more spacious and appealing to me. For my pizza I got pineapple and jalapeño on one side and pepperoni and cheese on the other. The total cost with two water bottles was around 18 dollars. It was a large if I recall correctly. This was fair pricing in my opinion. The pizza came with 8 slices. We finished 7 1/2 This pizza wasn't the best tasting pizza. The real appeal about this place to me was the atmosphere and the cat. Also they're open to 3am and I like that alot. Happened upon this place by accident. Cute quaint little place. Searched up the menu and decide to give it a try. It was a Sunday and they had a special that day. Large pizza for $12. Ordered a pepperoni, pineapple and jalapeño pizza (don't judge me). They were not stingy with the toppings! Ask for it to be a bit crispy and they made it perfect. I would definitely go back. So many specialty pizzas to try on the menu. The names give were funny such as The Notorious P.I.G, The Lezzie (no meat), Jimmy Neuton and others. This is now my "best pizza in the area" recommendation. Really really great pizza. We had the supa-dupa and swapped the olives for jalapenos. The flavor and the crust were great. We also ordered the brussel sprouts appetizer and that also was REALLY good and quite a large serving. The service was a little lacking (I think the server may have been on the spectrum a bit so we didn't mind), and the bathroom in this little place is definitely not going to win any awards. Midnite Slice is a quaint little pizza joint on 2nd street, right across from the Seabrook Post Office that we stumbled upon and we are SO glad we did!! They have a nice outdoor seating area, although it was a little chilly for me to want to sit there, but the owner said she might do a fire pit later, which would have been awesome! They sell by the slice ($5 flat) or by the pie. We came on a Sunday, which is $12 pie night ... so basally, any pie on the menu (or create your own) for just $12! To me, this is a great deal! I always let hubby order the pizza since he's really particular about what goes on it, so we ended up with a basic pepperoni, mushroom & extra cheese pizza. The crust was incredible to me, crunchy, but not too crunchy, it was just right! What I like about the pizza is that it's filling, but not, over the top, roll me out the door filling which can lead to the urge to purge and then pass out on the bed. It was JUST right!! I also like that this is a local owned business and, as I've stated before, I feel it's important to support local businesses. First off, since moving to the area two years ago, this was the best tasting pizza that I've found, so that says a lot. A few friends and I stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. Service was great, and both the girl at the cash register and the guy making the pizzas were fun to chat with. The pizza by the slice is a flat $5 (regardless of what you get), but don't be fooled by the fact that it's called a slice. Instead, you get a handmade half-pizza that somewhat resembles a slice for a fraction of what a full pizza will cost you. My friends are I were really surprised that the "slices" were made fresh when you ordered them, and weren't just sitting around waiting to be reheated. That being said, even if you order a slice, expect to wait at least 10 minutes for your pizza to cook. I got a Ninja Turtle slice (sweet Italian sausage, black olives, red onions, and mushrooms) and it was fantastic. A friend of mine got the Menage (feta, swiss, and mozzarella), and was kind enough to let me try a bit (it was delicious). I think next time I'll try a Menage with Italian sausage added. They told us about their events and music on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, and my friends and I all agreed that we'll be back regularly. read more

OH YEAH! I said I was reserving my last, precious star for eating the pizza fresh and hot.... And not only am I giving them five stars this time, I want to give them five MORE just for being so awesome. We got slices this time instead of a half & half pizza; AND, because we're super indecisive like that, we got four slices to share. Let me be clear: a slice for $5 isn't small. They're baked in 1ft squares, and you get HALF. That's right... About 12in x 6in of hot delicious awesomeness. 1st slice: Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza (Thousand Island dressing, mozzarella & cheddar cheeses, hamburger, bacon, Roma tomatoes, sweet red onions, & pickles with huge slices of bacon cooked right on top). This one wasn't my favorite (I don't like cheeseburgers, go figure) but I loved the dressing on the pizza. Boyfriend ate this one. It had a really "subdued" flavor, and wasn't overpowering. But, bacon. Win. 2nd slice: Thread Belly (pepperoni, pineapple, & jalapeño slices). Our strategy was to pick of the jalapeños after baking to leave the flavor/spice (we're to wimpy to actually EAT the thick-slicked japalenos... I know, lame) and it worked! I at first thought it was too hot for me, but I ate more when I got home. Loved it. 3rd slice: The Nay-Nay ("extra saucy and cheesy", Italian sausage, & pepperoni). YUMMMM. 4th slice: MY FAVORITE, the Bar-Be-Que or Bust (tangy BBQ sauce, mozzarella cheese, grilled onions, & roasted chicken). Now... I don't like BBQ sauce on a pizza. It's too much. But, I loooooved this! Turns out she uses Sweet Baby Ray's, which is my fave BBQ sauce, so I think that must be why. ;) The chunks of chicken all by themselves were delicious, and had an amazing flavor -- so that on a pizza? Get your own. I'm not sharing. They had a band going outside, Sibbian & her teenage dudes did a great job cooking, taking care of the dining room, & talking to guests, and again, we were left feeling like we were part of their eclectic little family. Cozy little spot to grab a pizza!! The patio feels like a friend's backyard complete with picnic tables & Christmas lights. We started with the bread sticks which were amazing!!! They were like chewy hot garlic knots topped with melted mozzarella and served with a side of marinara. Next came a simple but delicious cheese pizza. I had a Mexican Coke in a tall bottle for $2. Definitely a treat. I rarely see those. My kids devoured the pizza after a full day @ Kemah Boardwalk. I would highly recommend this place over any chain. Prices were so reasonable. I'm rating the delivery only because I have not been to their restaurant. I am new to Houston and to the clear lake area. I was hungry, but it was late at night (around 10:30pm) and I wanted something to eat. I used yelp's "open now" search function and this place was open! I called to ask if they had delivery and they said yes! I gave them my information and then they recommended a pizza (I am vegetarian but I don't ever want to get just a plain cheese pizza because that is boring). I also got the bread sticks. I also ordered a root beer. They told me it would be about 30 minutes. and the price was not that bad (less than $15). The definitely arrived within the 30 minute window. The delivery guy was super nice and told me all about the restaurant and I really want to go visit it on a weekend when they have live music. I gave him over 20% on the tip and I got my pizza (still hot and delicious) and my breadsticks. He did forget my root beer, but I will talk about that in a minute). Opening the boxes was glorious! The bread sticks were huge and poofy and they had cheese on them. The sauce was a little small for the amount of bread sticks, but it was good! I loved the way the pizza looked. It has that home made look to it and is smelled great. When I took a bite I was pleased. I haven't had good pizza in a long long time. I was extremely satisfied until I realized that he didn't leave me my root beer. I don't drink soda so when I do it is as a treat (like a dessert). So I was sad that it wasn't there. I called them back and a lady answered the phone. I explained what happened and she was very nice. She asked if she could send him with another one and I said yes. Nothing beats a good pizza! The pizza dough actually had a homemade taste when most establishments rely on stuffings their crust with cheese or some other gimmick. Midnight Slice doesn't need to do that. It's just good, bold flavors, the way a pizza should taste. Everything is fresh and seasoned nicely. Atmosphere is great, indoor space is limited but with a nice sea breeze, picnic tables and the shade of old oaks it's very cool way to enjoy your food. If you don't see what you want on the menu, suggest it, request it. The staff was great, friendly and focused on service being good.
