We arrived for our show about 40 minutes ahead and our server was quick to come take our order. I like the battery operated candle idea for getting your servers attention. It helps you pay attention to your entertainer rather than looking around for help. You simply turn on your candle and your server knows you're ready to order or need help. The sound was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the venue. Word to the wise. Arrive early if you can. We shared a table with 4 other individuals. They came in at show time and it took them about 15 minutes to quit talking and settle in which was distracting to the show for us. First time to be in Old Town Tomball - 20 min from The Woodlands north - Great service, burgers and ambiance! But would starve to see Herman's Hermits live starring Peter Noone!! He was fabulous as usually and show was sold out Friday and Saturday with added matinee on Saturday! Sold out as soon as announced- cheapest tickets were $88 without food or drinks- better seats at $130 each, but all instantly sold out! Intimate venue with excellent Texas friendly service. Nestled in the heart of Tomball, Texas is a small listening room venue hosting great legendary artists. We saw Crystal Gayle. Get there early and enjoy their food and drinks. We had the margarita pizza. It was very good. I love their service system. You turn on the battery operated candle to let them know you need something. The service is super fast too! Prices are great. There's not a bad seat in the house. Every seat offers a great view of the stage and because it is a small venue, you get a better up close experience. We Ubered, but I did check out the parking. For a small concert hall, there is plenty of parking with a short walk to the doors. No fee to park. The acoustics were great, the restrooms were spotless, the service was terrific, and the artist... well, she was phenomenal. I highly recommend this venue! read more

If you love getting out and listening to some classic tunes then this is the place for you. It is extremely intimate with every seat in the venue being a fabulous seat. The acoustics are amazing. The food and drinks are on point and reasonable prices. The staff are attentive and creative with the service that they provide. I got a chance to see The Fab 5 who just blew my mind. I love the Beatles so I was in awe and captivated by their performance from beginning to end. It was a good night for all. By the way I got a margarita pizza and wine. They have a variety of food selections, but beer and wine only. I will definitely be back to catch another show and make more fabulous memories. read more

My wife and I went to Main Street Crossing to see the ABBA Tribute group from Los Angeles perform. This was our first visit to this venue and it was easy to find. We arrived early so we could eat before the performance. We entered the venue and found it to be a pleasant surprise. It's not a large venue but a cozy place with a good number of tables and chairs without it being overcrowded. We were greeted at the door and escorted to our assigned table. Most of the tables seat 8 people so you share the table with other patrons. Our server was prompt with our drink and food order and checked on us frequently. We ordered their homemade pizza and it was excellent. The performance lasted about 90 minutes and was fantastic. We look forward to future events at this location. read more

A very small venue featuring a variety of musical acts. We saw The Solo and Steel Tour of Mike and Zach from Mike & the Moon Pies. We were seated about 40 feet from the stage at a table for 8. The doors open at 6:00 and the show starts at 8:00. They offer salads, sandwiches and pizza as well as chips with salsa, queso or artichoke & spinach dip. We had the meat lovers pizza. It was just right for two. A Root Beer Float for dessert hit the spot. The staff is friendly and accommodating. read more

Large open dinner theater but small enough to get engaged with the performer. Larry interacted well with audience. Enjoyed getting there early for food and drink. At show time was comfortably packed. I've been wanting to come here for a couple years now and finally did to see Stoney LaRue. It's a small intimate venue and fits in perfectly with the small town Tomball setting. They assign seats so you don't need to print tickets at home. If you are planning on going with friends, just have them put your name on the note section when buying the tickets so the seats will be together. To get the waiter/waitresses attention, you just turn on a fake candle at your table. Why hasn't anyone thought of this yet?! When the show starts, you text your order to the kitchen and servers. Looking for a good time? Main Street Crossing has you covered. A small group of us went for a Ray Wylie Hubbard concert. Never heard of him? No matter. He's a cross between Johnny Cash and Creedence Clearwater Revival. With a solid trio (including his son) Ray keeps the beat and is lyrically hysterical. But no matter the act, Main Street Crossing is a great venue. Excellent audio. Fast food and beverage service. And surprisingly, the food looked pretty darn good. MSC is well worth the drive from Houston. There's a few other bands we're watching for so we can come back. read more

My husband and I have seen him several times and we always say he acts like he hates his job. Just not friendly with his answers and acts like the customer is almost a burden. Maybe just keep him in the back rather than coming to any tables! However, that one guy doesn't keep us from coming back because every one else seems lovely! I want to give this place a better review because I love Tomball and everything that it has to offer... but I purchased 4 tickets to a concert and we so just happen to get a table of 4 once we got there. What was the bad news? Only 1 of the 4 chairs actually faced the stage, 1 faced the bar and 2 faced the wall. Yes, the wall. We asked if we could reposition the chairs to face the stage and we were told absolutely not. It was so miserable turning our necks the whole time that we left halfway through the concert. Super disappointed because we spent $65 per ticket only to not have a nice time. Bummer. read more

I recently went to a small concert here, and though he wasn't known with the younger crowd he was still funny, and very entertaining. I enjoyed his show, and though it was a little dated, and seemed like a life tribute then a concert it was a fun night nevertheless. Now about the venue the seating was poorly designed. We sat at the back tables, and the tables are faced away from the stage. So the you either have to look left, or right depending on where you're seated to enjoy the show. It's a real neck strain, and when I finally couldn't take it I turned my whole body, but when I turned to see if the others behind me could still see. Everyone had their necks out trying to watch around me, and the others seated the same way. It's truly uncomfortable, and unnecessary if they did some rearranging it would be way more suitable for everyone to enjoy. Lastly the customer service wasn't anything spectacular. In fact the bald guy was quite rude, and unprofessional. When taking our order my mom asked if there were condiments on the burgers he stated yes, and there was none. She asked if there were fries, and he stated yes, and there was none. When he walked by getting an order behind me, when they both were paused, I asked if he could take my plate. There was not eye contact, no yes ma'am, or of course not a problem. He completely ignored me, and when it was convenient he took my plate. A simple not a problem would've been nice, and appreciated instead of me starring him down with out a response. The concert was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return here, but I'll let you be the judge of that. read more

Took my Mother to see the Fab 5, a Beatles tribute band, and had a wonderful time. The venue is really neat. There are tables in the back half of the room (bar height tables) and a bar. Then a railing with cushioned bar stools. Then a long booth with four 2-top tables (fits 2 people each table), then 8 top tables in the front half of the room (dining height tables) near the stage. I would say there are about 10 or so tables up front and probably 15-20 in the back half of the room. The stage is visible from all tables. There isn't a bad seat in the venue. They have food (burgers, pizza, chips & queso, spinach and artichoke dip, tons of different beers, wines and seltzer's. Before the show starts you turn on your table candle to request service. Once the band starts you text your order and they bring it out to you pretty quick. The employees are really nice and service is great. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and surprisingly it was really good. I say surprised because I'm use to my mothers homemade dip and it was up there. This place has a full schedule until the end of the year. Tribute bands as well as some really good small venue tour bands. No smoking but there is a nice area out front with a few tables and ashtrays. The band takes 2 breaks so smokers would have time to go outside for a few minutes. Doors open a few hours before the show so you can eat and drink. For us the show started at 8pm. They took a break at 9pm and 10pm and the show ended close to 11pm. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend giving it a shot. Do not go without tickets because this place is almost always 100% sold out. One more thing, this place is a non profit for charity venue. So eating and drinking there versus prior to showing up is what they really needed. The money for the tickets mostly goes to the bands and the proceeds from their food and beverage sales goes to help them stay open and donate to local charities. read more

Very intimate setting, bar featured in the back of the house with ample amounts of bar table tops, sectioned off by a bar top counter seating area transitioning into a more dining room like area. My date & I decided to stick back at a bar top table, since it's all ages most of the families flock towards the front of the house where the larger dining tables are and of course the stage. It's not a large venue so to me any seat in the house still gives you that very up close and personal touch. The high ceilings and adequate sound system for the size of the building make this a very enjoyable establishment to check out a live performance, there really is nothing like a live performance. There was a $10 dollar cover charge, bring cash, if you use a card they tack on a couple bucks! The beer menu has a great variety though again don't expect great prices, if I recall it was $4.50 a bottle and I did see Ziegenbock on there for $12 a pitcher (man should have went for the pitcher!). The food selection is short and well short, not that extensive. Luckily I didn't even expect them to have food at all so I was quite happy with the Chips, Spinach & Artichoke dip that I ended up ordering (I'm require snacks when it comes to drinking a few beers.) Loved that the artists mingle pre and post show (hoping that's a norm since I intend on frequenting as long as there is someone that catches me eye on the events page), Ryan Beaver & Brian Keane, such great local performers! read more

This review is for food and venue. Venue - I would give it 5 stars. Spectacular intimate setting, so close to the artist, and all seats are great. The staff is friendly and it seems well organized. They had name tags at each seat. Certainly the best venue we have found. Food - typically bar food. We had a pepperoni pizza and chips n queso. The pizza is really thin and crispy crust, like a cracker. The toppings were good portions. A little greasy and probably frozen. Queso - really good with a lot of spice. It is a white queso served with lots of chips. We ran out of queso before chips but at that point had eaten enough. The queso was thick and creamy. Overall, if you don't eat beforehand or want a snack this is a good option. One concept I really like is the way you get waiter assistance. They leave a battery light that you turn on when you need service. Great concept without being intrusive. read more
