It's seems like they were understaffed because the employees were running around trying to keep up with the service needs. All that being said, it took close to 40 minutes for the burger and I had to go ask them to check on my order. The two families who ordered ahead of me got their food in a reasonable time. Maybe they didn't order burgers? I was thinking it would be coming out piping hot because they were behind on orders but it was room temperature. Overall it was an okay burger. There was a good cheese melt thing going on too. Also love the seasoning on the baked potato skin. The German Fest Burger was delicious too. It had all the good burger elements - Good size patty and bun. Comes with tomatoes, lettuce, pickles and onions. The sausage and kraut were great adds and still made it taste so good. This place is cute! Met friends for lunch and it did not disappoint. Plenty of outdoor seats, very nicely decorated patio area. Staff was friendly. This is a place where you order at the counter grab a number and they bring your food to your table. My food did take a little long to come out because I asked for no queso, and she came to let me know that they had to redo it because the kitchen added queso. So, my friend started eating without me, but no big deal. I didn't want her to stare at her food getting cold, while I waited for life to come out. By the time I got my food She was already done eating. Had the Mexican burger, it comes with guac, queso and fries. The burger is cooked medium well, just a little pink in the center. We'd seem this place and checked out the menu and we really wanted to try the place. My son and I shared the etouffe fries. We both thought they were a little too salty, but otherwise pretty good. My wife ordered a southern chicken tot tater which she really liked. I had the buffalo chicken tater and my son had the chicken fajita potato. All were delicious. The service was very quick, but when we ordered a couple of shakes to take with us, the girl making those was really slow. We waited and waited and when she came by with shakes, she was delivering them to a different table. So we waited and waited again. Table who got those shakes finished them and the cups were cleaned off the table before we got ours. I was worried that she was taking so long, the ice cream would be all melted. Sure enough that is what happened. the butterfinger had all settled on the bottom instead of being suspended in the shake. I came for the live Christian music and stayed for the food! This place is a hidden gem! I absolutely love the crawfish etouffee, and their French fries are seasoned to perfection. I have been here twice now. The first time was on a weekday at lunch time. My buddy and I each had a burger. The staff was great and the service was fast. Even though they are known for their stuffed potatoes, the burgers were fantastic. Because they are known for their potatoes, I went back on a Saturday. I fully expected to have a longer wait but I was happily surprised to get served really quickly my wife and I each had massive potatoes LOADED with all kinds of great stuff. Since our first visit here we have visited many times, decided to give it that second chance and it was way better the second time and time after that. They now have thick fries and they are amazing. We get the skillet queso every time and it's so good. So my mom came to town to visit and my kids hyped it up and she just had to visit. I was so disappointed tho. Isn't it just like that, when you hype something up it falls short. I will give them a pass considering it was a Saturday afternoon and very busy and the start of summer and I saw so many new faces for the employees. The skillet queso and food came out at the same time, normally comes as an appetizer. The chips were stale and the queso was so thick and congealed kind of. The burger was on the rare side. The potato is normally overflowing with toppings and it was a bit chintzy. So my review is to say, this place is a favorite but we usually don't come on a weekend and so my weekend experience is not good and I recommend try a week day afternoon. I pride myself on baking up some yummy potatoes at home, but what you can't get at home is a crawfish étouffée, chicken alfredo, and fajita loaded potato all at the same time (at least not without an entire day spent in the kitchen). These puppies are seasoned and baked to perfection with generous fillings/toppings that are flavorful and fresh. I got the fajita potato with chicken and steak, which comes with queso, pico, and guacamole. The meat was tender and cooked perfectly and all the components balanced each other so well, I'll admit I basically inhaled the damn thing. My roomie got a crawfish étouffée potato which was more flavorful than any étouffée I've had at a restaurant as a main dish. Her boyfriend got a chicken alfredo that is VERY yummy, and has the creamy richness you're looking for in an alfredo. I had their sweet tea, which was perfectly sweetened, and the staff stayed on top of our refills with no questions asked. We chose to come on a very busy day where Tomball was celebrating homecoming, but we managed to find a corner booth that afforded us some privacy so we could have fun without feeling like we were in the middle of a huge event. The only reason I can't give this place a fifth star is because of the cleanliness. I saw quite a few flies/gnats about, and at one point I had to swat at an ant that was crawling across my arm. Also, our table had some debris on it still even though we could tell it had just been bussed before we sat down.
