2 Guys 1 Pit is located in a plaza next to other stores so there is plenty of room for parking. When you walk inside, you'll see a good amount of room for tables/seats. They have a happy hour from 4 PM - 7:30 PM for dine in only- half off on all appetizers! My friends and I went and got the 1/2 lbs Burnt Ends Cheese Curds Fried Okra Fried Mac & Cheese Bites The happy hour price is unbeatable. Each appetizer was around $4 and if you're a member at Rise Gym next door, you get another discount on top of the happy hour price so it's a steal! The burnt ends were savory and delicious. The meat had a smokey flavor and it was juicy with a slightly crispy exterior. All the other appetizers were decent. Looking forward to coming back and trying some of their entrees!

The worst food service I've gotten in a long time from the restaurant. We waited and waited and waited. The barbecue ribs came up dry with no flavor. Over $100.

Cup of chili and beef rib.

I usually get a cup of chili and the beef rib of it is Friday or Saturday or the brisket on other days. Beef ribs are pretty expensive everywhere but I can't finish a whole rib in one meal. So it's like paying for two meals to me. The chili has sausage in it in case you are like some of friends who don't like that. You order at the counter and take a seat. The food usually comes out really fast. On this visit, I ordered and grabbed my drink. I went to grab some jalapeños and onions and they already brought out my food and called my name. In the short period of time I was there, five people walked by and asked me if I needed anything. The dining area is a decent size and was not crowded the times I have been here. I have seen more people take to go orders or are delivery drivers making pick ups. Overall, a nice place to splurge on some BBQ if you want a change from the chain restaurants.

On a Saturday night- got 1 lb of brisket and 1 lb of sausage to take home since I made potato salad and rice. Cost 70 dollars! Obviously since it was only meat it was to go. Husband ordered it to go but they tried to serve it to him there. So he had to wait even longer for them to correct that. By far the worst BBQ we have ever had! Brisket was so dry and so was the sausage! Will never eat there again! At least the potato salad was good! Too bad I had to make it!

Thank you to the turkey that laid down it's life for this wonderful sandwich. Pepper Turkey Sandwich Green Beans

Never heard of this place and I was close by. Gave it a try for lunch. Didn't see much nondairy side options but the green beans turned out well. Wasn't excited about $15 for a sandwich in a casual place. They were pretty nice, cheerful folks and suggested the potato salad. My friend really liked it. Now, back to that turkey sandwich. When they brought it out, hmm yeah it looked decent. Now biting into it was something different. The sourdough bun and perfectly cooked savory turkey and sauce was incredible. I ate it slowly and didn't want this sandwich to end. The pits get a bad reputation. I don't know what you 2 guys are doing in there but you do it well.

Arrived late lunch time on a Saturday. We were greeted immediately. We sat at the bar. Sandwich was tasty and loaded. Not pictured are the burnt ends appear. Hubby inhaled them.

    Happy hour appetizers are $4

Absolutely perfect! Why did I wait this long to try it. Very cute little Texas bbq joint with a full bar and great happy hour offerings. We went for lunch and left fat & happy. Green beans like my Mamaw's, brisket bark and moisture perfect, wonderful Texas style thick bbq sauce.

You won't find many BBQ places with a drive-up window, which was a pleasant surprise. I have my furbaby with me a lot, so it's needed for me. But I'm beginning to learn that's a Houston bonus: the drive-up windows. Another thing I liked was that the menu was very specific and easy to read. Also, pick-up is at these two cute red doors. A nice guy came out with a big smile, and he even said hi to my Lulu. I also like that the BBQ had a hometown backyard taste. The ribs stood out from the other places I have visited so far. You can say it was that long ago good flavor taste we all used to know. It had the right amount of flavor, not too much, and the meat practically fell off the bones. The string beans had a lot of flavor, too, and the cheese corn was my favorite. Hmm, I wondered if they have their own seasoning for sale.

Moist Brisket ..... (Maury voice) and that was a lie

This place was rough. BBQ tastes like it was reheated. I tasted the turkey , moist brisket (not moist) , and chicken and they were all extremely dry. This was also quite expensive for how bad my experience was. Staff seemed nice

To start off, when I ordered my coffee, the guy at the register said they didn't have 8oz coffees. I was staring right up at the sign, and he said he didn't know why it said that because he didn't see it in the computer. (But gave me an 8oz cup anyway and charged me for a 12oz) I thought maybe he didn't know what a small 8oz looked lik? lol Not sure. Then I waited for about 20 minutes for them to bring me out a vegetarian sand which. I was the only person there for the first 10 minutes, and it seemed like either the guy forgot to tell them to make the sandwich, or the ladies forgot themselves. Because 10 minutes later the guy looked at me and apologized and said that it should be out in 3 minutes. Another 10 minutes later and still nothing. I was pretty annoyed at this point because how long does it take to throw some veggies together on a sand which!! I think he noticed at this point so he apologized to me again and said " I just told them to make it". At this point I was super annoyed, but I just waited. Meanwhile I waited I also noticed other customers had walked in and ordered a handful of desserts and it looked like they had to go back up to the counter because they were missing some of their order. I finally got my sandwich and left because it honestly seems like a cluster fuck. Thankfully the sandwhich was amazing. The mango dessert was, eh. Especially for the price point. I really don't like leaving negative reviews, but I felt this place was really deserving of one. Customer service was not there- he was not very friendly. Food took WAY LONGER than it should've especially because I was the only one there at first and for what I ordered. He didn't even know the specifics of their menu. Just absolutely disappointed. Will not be coming back

The hot dogs had great flavor, and I liked the amount of toppings. The quality was solid, with a nice snap to the bite. The fries were mediocre nothing special But the real stars of the meal were the cake shake and the slice of chocolate cake. The hot dogs would make my rating a 4 but the cake slice + cake shake bumps my review up to a solid 5! I wasn't expecting the shake to be that good -- it was loaded with pieces of cake in every sip. The chocolate cake itself was moist, airy, and rich without being overly sweet. It had the perfect balance between cake and frosting. I'll definitely be back and making this a regular treat.

Just been so busy but finally got time to go and try. I will say that I wasn't impressed overall. But I also knew I was going for a hotdog and my friends were gonna order a broiled chicken sandwich. First from outside the bldg looks nice and modern and has a diner vibe. Inside looks diner/retro sorta and plenty of seats inside and outside. Overall appearance looks good. Staff friendly and welcoming and helpful with our questions since first time visitors. My main issue is they are pretty much à la carte. But do have a few combos on a center menu bar. but it didn't list all items or show all items available in combo form. I asked cashier if I had to order each item separate and she said yes. So my hotdog was $3.89, reg fries $2.99 and drink $2.49 so a total of $9.37 before taxes and the broiled chicken sandwich $7.19 so a total of $12.67 ea. Total for all 3 was $37.57 The hotdog had no size choices meaning regular or 100% beef frank or larger size. So the hotdog I got was a regular sized hotdog and the bun and toppings were bigger in size and portion then hotdog. The broiled chicken looks like a half of piece of a chicken patty, very small for the price. Way smaller than other fast food places like a chic-fil-a, Whataburger or Popeyes. The fries were actually really good but I wanted onion rings so when I asked the cashier if they were real onions cut up and battered or even pre frozen but real onion rings and not fake onions rings like BK she said no they are not real onion rings so I passed on ordering them. Once we went to the drink station they were out of sweet tea, and didn't have lids to fit the cups they gave us. I got a soda and then when I picked up our food I saw a drink station for drive thru and asked cashier if she could give me a sweet tea and she did but it didn't taste good at all so I decided to drink the root beer I originally poured. Trash bins were full, my table was clean but the seat I had to wipe down crumbs before sitting down. They had a lot of workers behind the counter not sure why there wasn't one or two in dining room cleaning and taking trash out and restocking drink station. Over all the hotdog did taste ok, but as a comparison the Chicago dog I use to get at James Coney Island with the option to upgrade to a beef frank is way better overall. They really should add an option to upgrade to a bigger dog. The chicken sandwich overall tasted good but very small and over priced. Due to portion size and higher prices compared to what you can get at other fast food places with larger portions I probably won't return.

I get that it would take a bit longer than normal but 30+ minutes? Any other sandwich shop typically runs through a line of 5-10 customers in 10-15 minutes. Unfortunately this place has always been slow on a "good" day, so today's surprise must have really taken them off their game. They had no problem holding me hostage by taking my payment (the full amount) and then he disappeared... yet the sandwich I got home with was not complete. The Hook and Ladder only had ham and nothing other than lettuce on it. Also no pickle. Iced tea had no ice. I wished the guy at the window good luck and I meant it - he was stressed and probably doing his best in a sandwich shop with low expectations by the "leadership." But the owner and/or manager of this sandwich shop desperately needs to provide training for employees how to work a line sandwich shop. If you're lacking a place to start, at a minimum go to another line restaurant and take notes.
