I was so happy to try this bakery out for the first time and it definitely did not meet my expectations. I ordered a 8oz toffee nut coffee, vegetarian sand which, and mango dessert. To start off, when I ordered my coffee, the guy at the register said they didn't have 8oz coffees. I was staring right up at the sign, and he said he didn't know why it said that because he didn't see it in the computer. (But gave me an 8oz cup anyway and charged me for a 12oz) I thought maybe he didn't know what a small 8oz looked lik? lol Not sure. Then I waited for about 20 minutes for them to bring me out a vegetarian sand which. I was the only person there for the first 10 minutes, and it seemed like either the guy forgot to tell them to make the sandwich, or the ladies forgot themselves. Because 10 minutes later the guy looked at me and apologized and said that it should be out in 3 minutes. Another 10 minutes later and still nothing. I was pretty annoyed at this point because how long does it take to throw some veggies together on a sand which!! I think he noticed at this point so he apologized to me again and said " I just told them to make it". At this point I was super annoyed, but I just waited. Meanwhile I waited I also noticed other customers had walked in and ordered a handful of desserts and it looked like they had to go back up to the counter because they were missing some of their order. I finally got my sandwich and left because it honestly seems like a cluster fuck. Thankfully the sandwhich was amazing. The mango dessert was, eh. Especially for the price point. I really don't like leaving negative reviews, but I felt this place was really deserving of one. Customer service was not there- he was not very friendly. Okay, in all seriousness, a mom and pop bakery has landed in the suburbs, Tomball specifically....but I am always skeptical of new places popping up in the burbs. Came here for a little sweet treat after lunch with a few ladies from church, and when we arrived, we saw an entire table full of teenage girls that had overtaken the small cafe and bakery. The entire seating area had pretty much been taken up by this group, so in my opinion if it's that busy, they should've temporarily closed the bakery for a few hours for that group. The ordering process and cash register system was not efficient. We were waiting in line for forever only to be met with a very empty case of desserts and only a select few options available as it was already in the afternoon, so get there early if you want your pick! When there's a line of customers or patrons that's waiting amidst a large group, there needs to be a more efficient way of taking orders and getting the line moving. Waiting that long to buy one $10 cheesecake was not worth it for me. Desserts appear to be appealing to the eye, but from my group, the desserts got mixed reviews. Honestly not worth the hassle of waiting in line... Also, while it may be culturally acceptable to have your family helping out in the back, I'm not sure how safe or appropriate it is to be holding a baby while the store is hectic, there's a long line and wait time, and there's hot ovens, etc. Not a good look for a newly opened establishment. Saw this cute little place on IG - we decided to give it s try today. They had pastries, baked goods and desserts - too many to choose from - so we tried a few on site and some goodies home. Everything on display was beautiful - almost too good to eat. He had croissants, quiche and a multi-layer fill dough with feta treat, washed down with Turkish iced coffee. I had worked in Tomball and met two sisters who live in Tomball at this café. The desserts looked beautiful behind the glass display. One of my friends loved her croissant. I ordered an 8 Oz cappuccino. They had forgotten about it. After they made it and I sat down to drink it, I realized it was lukewarm. I didn't bother to tell them until I was almost done with it. I didn't want to get up. I finally got up to tell the young man the cappuccino wasn't hot. He said something about having acquired a different machine. He offered to heat my cappuccino up. I said it wasn't worth it. I only had a few sips left. My friend's cappuccino was also cold. She did get hers heated. I ordered a San Sebastian slice of cake. It's a dessert from Northern Spain, like a creamier cheesecake with no crust. Honestly, the cheese cakes looked delicious but they are pricier than the San Sebastian. The creamy dessert was good but nothing to write home about. I would return but I'd order a cheesecake slice. They have lemon, raspberry, Lotus, and other types of cheesecakes. I saw some bread loaves for purchase. I bought a Babka Nutella bread to go. It's delicious. This is a Turkish-owned cafe. They have Turkish coffee brewed on a pot on top of sand. His customer service was definitely phenomenal, he offered to make a fresh one and was very friendly. I was glad to have the whole turkey coffee experience. If you ask for turkey coffee make sure to mention you want it in the sand if you want the experience. I would suggest arriving @9am or a bit later to assure all bake goods are available. Such a little cute cafe--and a welcome addition to the Spring and Tomball area! I would have loved to got some coffee had they had decaf options, but they didn't. If they take any constructive criticism--please add decaf and sugar-free options to the coffee selection! Also- with all of the pistachio options, I thought they would be halal, but the woman at the counter said that she wasn't sure if they had any. Halal options would be nice as well. Especially with all of the Turkish looking desserts! I got the chocolate chip cookie, which was really good. It had more of a cookie dough, feel on the inside, and was thick, and I really enjoyed it. The spinach and feta spanikopita type pastry was also good. I usually get them from Phoenicia, and theirs was decent. A little chewer than I would have expected. I had been seeing the instagram posts of these delicious pastries and I had to stop by and try them and the Turkish coffee. I have to say they taste as delicious as they look. My family and I loved every pastry. We seriously were fighting over which was our favorite. I am so happy this is close by. I even got to meet one of the owners who was so sweet and taught me how to drink my first Turkish coffee. Run to this bakery and try the yummy offerings. Parking was plentiful, the location is right off the highway and easy to get to, and there are so many options to choose from when you enter the shop. I ordered a pistachio baklava (delicious, not saccharine), strawberry cream croissant (looked and tasted great), spinach quiche (heated up for me, made for a quick lunch), and a Nutella babka loaf (not pictured here but it was a good size and reheated well). There was a person working on their laptop at one of the tables inside so I take that as a sign that it's a decent place to get some work done. OK, I tried the sausage and cheese croissant, brownie, red velvet cookie, the strawberry tart and the caramel latte and a lemon tart. The brownie was a 10 out of 10 and the red velvet cookie was a eight out of 10. The caramel latte was excellent but the lemon tart and the strawberry tart cologne with the sausage and cheese Croissant fell very short. The strawberry retard does not have the traditional custard base. The sausage and cheese croissant had very little sausage and cheese on the inside. It was mostly bread and that was very disappointing. The lemon tart didn't taste like they use real lemon juice so it really wasn't that good so I would not purchase the lemon tart the croissants with something in the middle and the strawberry tart. All of those were like a three out of five with the sausage and cheese croissant being the most disappointing. Oh, and I also tried the roast beef sandwich and I would give it a three out of five there was nothing special about it and the quality of the meat could've been much better. The bread was good though. The place is clean the customer service at the front desk could've been much better. This was my first time at the establishment and the guy at the front desk didn't smile once when taking my order, he wasn't rude. He just wasn't engaging and didn't give off friendly Vibes. So, I finally made the journey to Bake Me Happy bakery and I fell in love! I was not able to get there early and arrived close to 2:30pm expecting most everything to be picked over. This was not the case. BMH is tucked away in the corner of a small shopping center off of the Tomball Pkwy. My sister was my adventure buddy and we felt as though we walked into bakery heaven. She hadn't eaten so we also got to sample one of their sandwich offers. Since I don't live close by I picked one of all my favorites and then some. Of the croissants I bought a plain, strawberry, almond and pain au chocolat. Plus, a sour dough baguette, cottage artisan bread, strawberry, and lemon tart and a chocolate eclair. This was a fairly good sample of all. I decided to have a go at the eclair because the rest was to go and for later tasting. When I bit into that eclair it was nirvana, I was surprised and happy to discover that the eclair was filled with a delicate chocolate cream, so light and decadent. It was not overly sweet or rich but a perfect mix of each and they did not skimp on size. My sister tried the roast beef sandwich on a fresh sourdough baguette. She could not stop raving about the fresh toppings as well as the fresh baguette and made yummy sounds with each bite. We were lucky enough to meet the owner during our visit who was gracious and accommodating. The sweet cashier was also welcoming, friendly and helpful with suggestions. The shop itself was pretty empty when we arrived with an intermittent stream of customers. There is a bar with high chair seating along the storefront and a smattering of small tables, cafe style. As for the rest of my purchases? Every single thing I bought was great. I have no complaints. The croissants are perfectly laminated and baked, none over-baked. Of all the croissants I have tried recently these were top notch and my new fav, not just due to taste, but also cost. Everything was reasonably priced (to me) as compared to other bakeries I have tried to date, but I am willing to pay for well made croissants. I highly recommend Bake Me Happy Bakery and hope you will also give them a try. read more

Great place for baked goods, the croissants and all their variations are delicious; the coffee is nice and strong, the atmosphere is very family oriented. The bad part was the service; the cashier was too busy on her phone to understand and pay attention to my order, the young man who calls out the orders was doing 3 things at the same time and gave us our pastries first and then 10 min later our drinks.
