Inside food case

Ordered a dirty chai latte as well as some food items. The lady working there was nice and prepped the items fairly quickly. Personally I didn't like the drink too much. I couldn't taste the coffee and it was too sweet. I also got a potato breakfast taco but when I got home and opened the wrapper it turned out to be a bacon taco. A little disappointing especially since the taco was labeled with a 'P' in the food case to indicate potato.

Left: bec breakfast tacos with yummy house made salsa; middle: boudin kolache; right: long john & lemon donut

I was in Jersey Village running an errand and wanted a BEC breakfast sandwich with a coffee; this place came up nearby and it had 5 stars. I thought it was really a cafe but it's not; it's a doughnut shop but that was okay. They really do need to jazz it up: music, decor, etc. but the food and coffee were good. I got a boudin kolache, 2 breakfast tacos, breakfast bagel, lemon donut and a long john. The bagel sandwich was pretty good--bagel was mid but the meat and egg were very tasty and fresh; the breakfast tacos were really good and were the stars (large and fresh eggs with a big portion of bacon); the kolaches and donuts were just okay; the coffee was good. The lady at the counter was very nice and happy to serve; the place was clean. If I lived nearby, I would go again, but it's not good enough to drive 20 minutes. If you live around West and Jones or live in Steeplechase area, check it out!

The owner here is lovely! She's always working the front and she knows how to make a fantastic coffee. I love the food and prices here which keeps me coming back. Decor is very warm and inviting and the cafe is very clean

I politely asked if the bathrooms were supposed to be locked or if they were closed, since both were locked when I tried to use them. She responded with "I guess" in a very dismissive tone and didn't make eye contact, which felt unprofessional. I found it odd that both restrooms were not open to costumers, especially since it was still not even close to closing time. Later, when we received our order, one of the drinks was made in the wrong size. I went back to the front and calmly asked if it could be corrected. Again, she didn't look at me and simply said "oh" before taking the drink without any acknowledgment. I even apologized for the inconvenience, but there was still no response. When the drink was remade, she called out the order and threw the straw onto the counter. Her overall demeanor seemed visibly irritated, which made me feel uncomfortable and confused as a customer. I work in customer service as well, so I understand it can be a stressful job, but there's still a basic level of decency that should be maintained. Unfortunately, this interaction left a very poor first impression of this Gong Cha location. I hope management can address customer service training with staff moving forward.

The team is consistently welcoming, friendly, real conversation, not just robotic order taking. The coffee is strong and smooth (exactly what you want) and they're great about recommendations if you're unsure what to try. The shop feels energetic but still comfortable enough to sit and relax. What I appreciate most is that this is a veteran-owned company that actively gives back to the local community. Every month they support a different cause...schools, first responders, veterans and you can genuinely feel that mission behind the brand. Good coffee is easy to find. Good people + purpose? Earlier this year we purchased coffee beans for the 250th Navy birthday and they are more than happy to grind your beans for you. Yesterday I ordered my go to large half sweet Liberty Bell latte. While meeting my Saturday morning coffee group I was offered samples of their Irish Crème coffee as well as their red velvet cake. Excellent area to work in, as well.

It really is a "must go." From the moment you walk in, the vibe is calm, welcoming, and full of good energy. It's the kind of place where you can instantly relax, whether you're starting your morning or winding down after a busy day. The atmosphere is a perfect mix of modern and homey. The décor is simple yet stylish, the lighting is soft, and the music is never too loud. Every time I visit, it feels warm and comfortable, like a place made for good conversations and quiet moments. The staff always greet me with a smile and take the time to make each order right. They remember faces, favorite drinks, and even ask how your day is going, which makes every visit feel personal. Now, about the coffee, it's incredible! You can taste the difference in quality with every sip. The beans are fresh, and the drinks are smooth, rich, and never bitter. My personal favorites are the iced vanilla latte and the caramel macchiato. Both are balanced perfectly, not too sweet but full of flavor. On cooler days, I love getting their hot mocha or matcha latte. They also offer plenty of non-coffee options, which is great for anyone who just wants something cozy and refreshing. Their food menu is just as impressive. They have pastries, cakes, ice cream, and breakfast options that are always fresh and delicious. The croissants are buttery and flaky, and the muffins taste homemade. I tried their slice cakes once and have been hooked ever since -- especially the strawberry and chocolate ones. Everything pairs perfectly with their drinks, and it feels like the kind of treat you can actually enjoy guilt-free. The shop itself is a great space to hang out or get work done. There's free WiFi, comfortable seating, and plenty of natural light, making it ideal for studying or working remotely. I've spent several quiet mornings there with my laptop and coffee, and it's always peaceful and relaxing. Overall, Must Go Coffee checks all the boxes: amazing drinks, great food, friendly people, and a comforting atmosphere. It's not just another coffee shop, it feels like a community spot that genuinely values its customers. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. If you're in Houston and haven't tried it yet, I can't recommend it enough. Whether you're grabbing your morning coffee, catching up with friends, or looking for a peaceful place to relax, Must Go Coffee is the perfect spot. It's easily my favorite coffee shop in the city, and once you visit, I'm sure it'll become yours too.

I understood they were having power issues and were operating on a generator. Their tablet system appeared to be working, as I could see my order while placing it. I was making a large order for my coworkers and needed an itemized receipt. When I asked for one, I was told they couldn't provide it due to the power outage. I then asked if they could pull up my order on the tablet so I could take a photo of it, and I was told "yes, one second." However, after my order was ready and I followed up, the staff member seemed irritated and repeated that they couldn't provide a receipt because of the power issue. I clarified that I only needed to take a picture of the order on the screen, which I thought we had already agreed on. I also didn't realize that every add-on they offer comes with an extra charge. For example, when asked what kind of milk I wanted, it wasn't mentioned that 2% milk (which is typically the default) had an upcharge. Additionally, when a soft top was offered for an iced drink, it wasn't disclosed that it was a $1.50 extra charge. This was frustrating, as these add-ons were suggested by staff without clarifying the additional cost. While the issue was eventually resolved, I left feeling unhappy with the overall experience. I did return once afterward, but between the inconsistent beverages and the lack of transparency around pricing, I don't think I'll be coming back.

" tea is made actually with water so that explains why it's watery" she proceeded to hang up in my face and ignore any subsequent calls. you always reply , i'm not saying this to tear your business down, I work at an award winning coffee shop that's been featured in the Houston Chronicle and on KHOU 13, during my training I learned how to make all the drinks on our menu which is larger than your own and tasted them all. To imply I simply hadn't had one of the most common tea lattes is rude as you see I am a regular cafe goer. I have made hundreds of teas even london fogs with my own hands! Had complaints and remade drinks myself too. It is the way it was handled on the phone as someone who has worked in customer service for over 10 years , it was very disrespectful. Your going back and forth with me while I share my experience doesn't change that, I know water is in tea that's uncalled for , that doesn't mean this one isn't watery, every barista has rushed and not steeped tea long enough once I wasn't even mad . As for the emptiness of my cup before i went to throw it away, I poured tea out of my cup into 2oz sample cups when I got to my job to ask my coworkers opinion on the drink and if it was made wrong or if I was wrong BEFORE i called. mind you we sell tea, just not blueberry danishes... As a coffee shop employee , I see myself as fueling my patrons for their days and I never disrespect them when they tell me I didn't fulfill my duty properly sorry for thinking you'd do the same You're going to be mad i left this review but when i called, before I thought to review, I started by saying exactly this " I got a drink earlier a London fog and I think it wasn't steeped long enough the tea flavor is just kind of weak its tasting like milk water and syrup, just so the future teas can be better " I always call when an establishment messes up my orders and say the same thing and I'm never met with hostility until you guys, today. I didn't say anything rude or tone deaf and I wasn't yelling in the slightest. I respect cafe employees very much as I am one for 5 years now and I understand the struggles of the job. On the phone, that was hurtful and I got my drink remade off the principle that I paid 27.95$ for my stuff and I couldn't even get a simple sorry. I got the reply I mentioned earlier which upset me because I went out of my way to come spend at your shop when I spend my days making tea anyways, that entitles me to say what I bought from you. Even if you just google London fog and look at the color then look at this you can see it's off. This is me telling the full story since you feel I left something out, I left out that a room full of 5 coffee professionals one of whom being the owner of my shop said the drink was nasty and a waste of money before I called you. AND I wasn't asking for any money back or a new drink when I called. sorry for leaving that out.

One son chose a cookies and cream smoothie, my other son ordered a chai milk tea with boba, and I went with the classic milk tea with tapioca pearls. Overall, the drinks were actually good, flavorful and refreshing, just what we needed for a warm day. The ambiance was really pretty and clean. I loved the greenery throughout the space, and the music made it feel welcoming and relaxed. Service-wise, it was just okay not bad, but not memorable either. Would I go back? Maybe. To be fair, the staff was hustling hard--everyone looked like they were running on pure adrenaline trying to keep up, and they were still friendly despite the chaos. No complaints there; they're clearly doing their best. The place itself is tiny and feels cramped even when it's half-empty. Tables are squeezed together, and the ceiling (yikes) is absolutely caked with years of dust and cobwebs. I couldn't stop staring up at it while I waited, and it honestly made my skin crawl a little. Menu is huge and looks promising, but I just wanted a simple London fog (it's not even listed, but most coffee shops can make one). What I got tasted like faintly-earl-grey-flavored hot water with a splash of milk. I watched them make it--they literally just dropped a tea bag in a cup, poured hot water, added a quick shot of vanilla syrup, and handed it over. No steeping, no real effort. For almost $6, it was honestly insulting. I finished maybe a third of it out of politeness and bolted. Two stars instead of one because the employees were trying and the place has clearly been a neighborhood staple for a long time, but everything else felt tired and neglected. I won't be rushing back.
