I see this place all the time, they're right next to my nail shop but never made my way in. One of my friends joining me for a pedi next door, came here as they waited for me and ordered some petite beignets, shrimp eggrolls, and a tea. I was highly surprised by the yumminess of the beignets. I loved how mini they were with the powdered sugar. It came with a dipping sauce on the side. I didn't care much for the sauce, but would love some honey for a side. The shrimp eggrolls were super cute and mini as well, and they had a nice bit to them and flavor to it as well. Need to learn how to make those at home! The place was super cute, they had a ramen wall, and lots of options for teas and other appetizers. It is kinda a cafe feel, as I saw there were other folks in there with their laptops focused on their computers. This place has been in this location for a while, but I haven't ever had a chance to come by. The other day we were really craving beignets but didn't want to drive to our regular place in Chinatown. We took a chance and we were glad that we did! Petite beignets is a super cute café and all of the staff was super friendly and kind. We had never been there before and didn't really know what to expect... They had a different types of tea and Boba, Ramen and different snacks besides the beignets. You can order the beignets in different sizes as well, which is nice. We ordered the little pillows which were super cute and yummy. We also ordered milk tea and a Matcha! Everything was really good, and the prices were fantastic. We saw lots of different types of people here from families, students that are studying and couples. Because we had told the owner, we had never been there before, she kept checking and Anna, and seeing how everything was, and she was really kind to tell us all about the different foods they offered . Cute mom and pop shop with beignets, boba, banh mis, classic snacks (e.g. popcorn chicken), and a ramen wall. I tried the petit beignets and their jasmine milk tea. The milk tea was the perfect level of sweetness without any adjustments, and the price includes boba which is nice. This store is right next to a Sprouts so there's plenty of parking which is always nice. Right when my friend and I walked in, we noticed a wall full of ramen for customers to choose from which was pretty cool. Instead of ramen, we decided to get a Grilled Chicken Bahn Mi combo that comes with a drink- we ended up getting the passionfruit pineapple green tea with boba. On top of that, we ordered Spicy popcorn chicken. The staff members who were working were very friendly and gave good recommendations on what to order. The drink was light and refreshing- I loved how there were chunks of fruit and the boba was nice and chewy. The grilled chicken bahn mi was okay- I wish it had more of the grilled/charr taste. The spicy popcorn chicken is just chicken with a spicy powder sprinkled on top but the meat was crispy and juicy so my friend and I enjoyed it! This is one of those places that I can't wait to bring if I kids to, so I can look cool in front of them. This is one of those asian style places where you choose the noodles and cook them yourself. You can choose different proteins and vegetables to add to it, which is kind of a fun twist, and you can get boba as well. We've got boba a few times and have liked it, although sometimes it does take a while to get out. I am going to chalk that up to having a freshly made boba drink, and so I am not taking any stars off for that. The beignets are light and fluffy and taste delicious. This place has so much more than just beignets (although that was the main reason we visited). The finger beignets were fat strips of beignets covered in powdered sugar, with a side of honey to drizzle. The Vietnamese coffee hit the spot and the passionfruit pineapple green tea was very refreshing. Petit Beignets & Tapioca is an extremely unique business model, I love the culturally authentic atmosphere. I mean where else can you go and they have a ramen wall. I can't name 1 other place lol. They match that with a unique experience There is of Do-It-Yourself you pick all your toppings and cook your ramen at this little fancy machine. We tried several boba tea's, the lemon grass peach tea was my absolutely favorite. So great that I ordered one on the spot, it'd be interested to try more off of the menu. The beignet bites were really good I only tried the brown sugar topping, but I heard the rest of the toppings were pretty great too. The meat was soft and seasoned well. The bread was soft and slightly toasted ( I would have liked it to be a little more toasted) The butter and veggies were fresh. Taiwanese Popcorn chicken: 3/5 The texture was crispy and not oily but it lacked seasoning. ( Needed more five spice seasoning.) I wish there were more basil leaves. OMG.. That banh mi was delicious.. I didnt expect a great banh mi outside of Bellaire. It was good. Price is same as some places in Bellaire.. My picky son enjoyed. He ate it more than me. I've lived nearby for a long time and was finally able to stop by with a couple of friends to try various items. The bahn mi combo with a drink was around 16, which was overpriced for what it was. All my friends agreed that we had cheaper bahn mi that were better and bigger. The drinks and boba were good. The bingnets were 4 for $8 and would say that they were excellent and well priced. We also had a basket of fries that look like they had been fried straight from the freezer no seasoning just plain store-bought fries for $4.The place is beautifully decorated. The ambience is very colorful and inviting, but they struggle to keep a clear concept. From what it looks like, they have a new self-service Ramen, which is an excellent idea if it were well priced. The self-service ramen was around $8, which is crazy because you could get a whole pack for that price, and the extra items were a dollar extra. For example, you could add half a boiled egg, cuz you don't even get the whole egg from a fridge with no expiration date or cooking date. The people working there were so sweet and attentive.
