i loved the thai green tea! for the price it was much cheaper than popular tapioca chains with a better flavor as well. the tapioca pearls were very soft and chewy. the menu is very large and extensive that i had a hard time making up my mind as everything sounded so good! the workers are quick and friendly. the place itself is large and clean, with comfortable booths to sit in and cute decor. i would come back to try their taiwanese shaved ice! they offered flavors such as taro and matcha, almost similar looking to bingsu.
A very out of the box review for me to travel a good amount of distance but could not help myself for a special event to celebrate the 3 year anniversary of Seng Seng Cafe. I made it a goal to visit the business because it all lined up nicely, my birthday week, weekend end of the month and a Lion dance to celebrate. But first initial walk in, I was very surprised. It is spacious and seating is well spread out and was greeted by the co-owner. I was not very sure what to pick but decided to get 4 drinks: Earl grey milk tea, strawberry cream blend, electric lemonade and strawberry matcha latte. I did not have an opportunity to try them all but the strawberry cream blend was great in flavor and the right amount of sweetness. Also the ear grey milk tea is balanced in flavor as well. Both had boba, right texture and chewiness. Overall it was a very unexpected and surprisingly great experience. I say this because I am more local to the Chinatown area where it is very concentrated for boba shops. Seng Seng cafe will be a stand out for me from both the friendly staff and also the owner Mr. Seng for asking while I wait for the lion dance performance, would I like to have my drinks to be kept in their fridge? It maybe something very small of a gesture but it is memorable. I just wished Seng Seng was not a distance for me but I would heavily consider another trip to visit again if I find myself in the area. Congratulations again for your anniversary!
The 10% students discount is great but the food portion is so small. They used a tiny paper bag for the food and it's still not filled up. Please see my photos. I have 7 drinks and 4 snacks, the drinks are great but not the snacks.
Trying to find a good restaurant/drink place for a quick bite on my long roadtrip and found this on Yelp. Did not disappoint and glad I came! It is located on 1960 between Walters Rd & TC Jester Blvd. Not difficult to find since it's right in the center in a big plaza. Huge shared parking lot so parking is no issue. Came on a Thursday evening and did not have to wait at all. Ordered the Oolong tea to get maximum caffeine for the road as well as the popcorn chicken plus the sweet potato fries. The Oolong tea is on point with amazing flavor. Popcorn chicken is very well made and piping hot, crispy basal leaves and tender meat. The sweet potato fries are also extremely flavorful. Staff is very nice and even offer military discount! Will definitely come back to try more items if I'm in the area. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work SengSeng Cafe!
SengSeng was doing a deal with their anniversary! $20 and you get a free plush. The drinks and shaved ice hit the spot, the drinks are refreshing, boba is chewy and soft. Great flavors, and not too sweet.
Overall very positive experience, loved the mango shaved ice! The place was clean for the most part, the workers were positive and they did not really take too long with the order BUT has soon has you open the door the weird smell hits you lowkey like a seafood market but it's not so bad that you pinch your nose
I usually only Seng when I'm at Karaoke or one of my shows, but I can Seng, Seng, Seng all day about how good the Vietnamese treats are at Seng Seng. Lovely Vietnamese goodies, Banh Mi and drinks, and exactly the kind of little cafe that you hope for when you're up here in North Golden Sun Plaza close to Cypress, Spring, The Woodlands, Tomball and Jersey Village. It's along 1960, where they have a lot of good food and good cafes. This one is unheralded and not a lot of people know about it, but we like to stop in here whenever we can because Barbi thinks they have some of the better Viet sandwiches and snacks in the Northtowns, and Vietnamese coffees here (Cafe Sua Da) are excellent. She gets along well with the girl that usually serves her. I agree the food and drinks are awesome here. And I totally agree that the service is really nice too.
Couldnt leave the house so i chose to have something delivered. I Ordered two passionfruit and cream drinks, one with mango jellies. They were delicious!! I also thought the sound of stuffed crab claws sounded really good as a snack. Let me say I was VERY disappointed. Tastless Imitation crab rolled around a small crab claw, battered and fried. Typically when you call something stuffed, it has something inside. PIease remove the word stuffed from your menu, that is very misleading. I'll stick to the drinks.
Pictured here is this black sugar boba and the galaxy lemonade, both were delicious in their own ways. The boba was chewy and the the coffee was great. The lemonade was so refreshing on a hot day! I only bought calamari because I saw on the reviews that it was good, and they were huge! They're the biggest ones I've ever seen, the size of onion rings. The sauce that it comes with is great too. The only problem that I have now is that I will want to try other flavors but I would like to get the same ones again because they were so good!
Second time here and it was great! i got a hill sized Creamy Milk Snow Ice with added egg pudding, condensed milk, mangos, strawberry, and mango jelly. it was soo good and creamy I really loved the mango jelly. the fruit too was extremely fresh and sweet. my favorite was the egg pudding was perfect with the ice. really refreshing! great customer service too they're supper nice

Stopped in here for an afternoon pick me up while running some errands ! I tried a passion fruit cream blend (smoothie) with lychee boba & egg rolls! Very refreshing and will be back to try other flavors ! It wasn't busy when I was there but they do give you the option order to order ahead of time ! read more
Pretty good for afternoon snack and drinks with friends. I ordered pineapple green tea with green apple jelly. I asked for zero sugar. The cashier told me it's already sweet. Yes it was. So, it's a little sweet. It's perfect. The pineapple flavor tasted artificial and the jelly was hard to suck them through the thick straw. Since I don't frequent this area, I can't say I'll be back any time soon. read more

Great customer service!! We were greeted with smile and the young lady at the register was patient and informative when explaining the menu. We got three regular Taiwanese Snow Ice. With lots of yummy toppings. The place felt very friendly and welcoming. They even have a punch card where you can earn free drinks.. I will definitely be back and try more delicious things. The ambiance is fun with nice furniture and a clean appearance. read more

We have been here only a couple times but that's enough to know it's our favorite smoothie spot with popping boba!! The staff always greets us upon walking through the door as well and says goodbye when we leave. They have many drink options as well in case you're not a fan of smoothies. We love how they decorate depending on the holiday as well!!! Will definitely be coming back here when we have extra money to spend read more
Had my eye on this place while it was being constructed... I hope they continue to stay open past 9:00 because that's always when I get my boba craving ... anyways stopped in for a milk tea... I love the openness of the cafe... with pretty ample seating. Super cute. Also they have a boxwood wall with neon sign... perfect for your photo op... I only got a taro milk tea today... it was good... it's grainy but that's from actual taro so don't be surprised... it was a tad bit sweet for my taste so next time I will probably decrease the sweetness level... I'm excited to come back and the the shaved ice... which is a favorite of mine. Staff was nice and welcoming... read more

Came here for some boba after class and it was great! I was so excited to see they had roasted teas (if you haven't tried it, you're missing out!) My husband got the banana strawberry slush and really enjoyed it. Overall cute place, lots of drink options and snacks. Looking forward to trying more of the menu. read more

The drinks are just ok but the shaved ice is good! For the shaved ice, it has the perfect amount of sweetness with condensed milk drizzled on top. The shaved ice is very fluffy but more dense in the middle. The portion is big for the small size and perfect for sharing. I also tried the taro milk tea with boba. They used artificial taro flavoring here and the boba is a bit too soft for my liking. read more

This is the only boba shop i go to now, I've been coming since they first opened and will continue to keep coming back. As soon as you walk in, you'll be greeted by the nicest people, they are really knowledgeable about their menu and give great recommendations. Drinks and food come out pretty fast and are so good! My favorite snack to get and cant leave without is their popcorn chicken and i always ask for it super spicy ! It's perfectly crunchy, spicy and their dipping sauce helps to balance it out. I've had the pleasure of trying out their calamari and i also recommended it! Since coming I've tried multiple type and flavors of their boba drinks and i keep going back for the mango ice blend or lychee ! Their snow ice is always a delicious treat to enjoy and i enjoy how they have some great options for toppings to choose from! If you're in the area consider checking seng seng out! You'll get addicted really quick! Trust me ! read more

Seng Seng café is the best milk tea cafe in this area! The staff is lovely..you are greeted as soon as you walk in. The area inside is spacious and clean. They also have delicious "snow ice" to try. We recommend the honey dew snow ice with condensed milk. You can do toppings on the snow ice to your liking. read more
