I really wanted some Almond Milk Tea but when I looked on the website, I didn't see it on the menu. I called, and they said they could make it for me, no problem. When I arrived, I was the only customer in the shop so I shared that I had just called and the server got to work immediately on my drink. Purchased two classic Thai teas. One with boba, and one without. The flavor was good. I wasn't asked if I wanted to change the sweetness level or ice level. The boba itself wasn't that soft. We ordered the Banh Mi, milk tea and a Thai Tea. I ordered my Milk Tea with no sugar and the barista confirmed there was no sugar in it. When I got my drinks-- it was VERY sweet. I went up to the counter and told her I ordered it without sugar and she said "I know, there's no sugar" (with an attitude). I told her it was very sweet. She went to the back and came back and said "well there's already sugar in the mix". I asked her if she could remake the drink and give me one that isn't sweet. She just stared at me. I asked again and she said "yes, I'll make the Thai Tea, there's no sugar". Well, I got the drink and it was again very sweet. As for the Banh Mi- it was bread, with mayo and some basic veggies. I want to say I have been going to this place about three times a week since I've moved here. but I have to say last night was the last night I'll ever ever order from this place again. We ordered from this place constantly, even though they "continue " to never identify the drinks . Like if you're ordering more than one drink mark the drinks ,so people know what drink is theirs .....what happens if somebody had a dairy allergy.?!? and drink the wrong drink?!? Last night we ordered two chicken sandwiches two Taiwan noodles . Four specialty drinks. We ask kindly for the drinks to be marked and labeled . "Which only two came marked with names on it." We were super excited like we said we eat here about three times a week. Well, as excitement turned into pure disappointment .... we got the chicken sandwiches. The noodles WERE NOT COOKED hard as rocks, the chicken smelt and felt like Alpo ,and what put the icing on the cake OUR drinks came with NO straws!!!!!!!! After returning from the restroom, I asked the young lady if she gave my daughter her points. She said no. My daughter had forgot to give her number for the frequent visit card . I asked if she could add it? She said we would have to buy another drink. My daughter just bought the drink. I asked to speak with the manager. She smiled and said I'm the manager. I asked for her name she kept smiling and said that wouldn't be necessary. I asked for the owner's name and information. She just handed me an alias email address that I threw away. My daughter tasted her drink and it was nasty and threw it away too. I and my daughter use to love this place and the people that work there. It was a real vibe. I should have known that anything like this on this side of town wouldn't be good. To begin, the girl with curly hair & piercings at the front counter set the whole tone to my visit. She was rude, very short & lack luster & pushier than the drive-thru employees at a McDonald's. Not only did she not stop saying , "Anything else" after everything I said, she looked like she was annoyed at the whole interaction. So I basically had to panic order because the whole interaction made me very uncomfortable. The lychee tea is alright, pretty basic. The counter girl also didn't ask what size I wanted, nor did I get the chance to request it less sweet. Now, I stopped in because of the glowing reviews on their "bahn mi", the chicken I've specifically. That's what I ordered. They also did not have a pork option which was super weird to me. The sandwich I received was most definitely not a Bahn Mi. The chicken was very soupy. There is not a hint of jalapeño or pate on it, just some weird overly sweet mayo type thing. The only reason this place isn't getting a 1 star is because, even though this is not at all what I wanted & I wish I could get my money back, it still is a pretty good chicken sandwich, but that's what it is. Why 5 stars? Because my banh mi was excellent, despite the protein. --- --- --- I've eaten a lot of banh mi and I've never seen one filled with anything other than pork. Pork was not an option here, so I opted for chicken, which I wasn't that excited about. But it turned out great. Really great. Like, really really great. For my drink, I went with a blueberry smoothie with boba. When asked what size, I just blindly said, "Large" because that's what my default for any type of beverage, especially boba. What I was eventually handed was a cup that looked like a Big Gulp from 7-11. This was, by far, the largest boba smoothie I have ever seen. It was not the tastiest, but it wasn't bad. I somewhat blame myself for not going with a tried and true flavor, but I wanted to try something different. We don't live super close by, but if we are back in the area and craving boba (always), we will definitely come here again. read more

5 stars for the best dumplings I've ever had! No dipping sauce necessary. So fresh and so flavorful!! I am excited to try their other foods! As for the boba it's very good also... lots of different drink flavors. I've tried the boba shop milk tea with honey boba, the jasmine cream tea with grass jelly and the honey milk tea also with boba. Boba shop milk tea was the best of the three. The boba itself is cooked perfectly but could be a tad more flavorful. Next time I will half it with grass jelly to combat this. The service is super sweet as well! I can't believe it took me so long to come to The Boba Shop! How can I say this--- I was pleasantly surprised when I came to this establishment. Atmosphere- Quaint, clean, bright, and welcoming. I love that they are still requiring customers to wear their masks. I agree...it's too soon. :) Customer Service- All of the workers were kind and friendly. I came on two separate occasions and the workers at the register were kind both times, Boba Tea- they have a nice selection of Boba Tea. My first visit, I had Thai Tea with Boba. It tasted like your typical Thai Tea. My second visit I had the Boba Shop Milk Tea- it was SO good! The reason they are receiving 5 stars! YALL! This place is a hidden gem for BAHN MI sandwiches! Their chicken bahn mi is AMAZING. I mean, it's full of flavor, saucy, the carrots are nice and cold, they even taste somewhat pickled--- the cilantro and fresh jalapeños were delicious and the perfect touch. If you know me, you know I love a good bahn mi sandwich, and although I was initially bummed to see that they did not offer a pork bahn mi sandwich-- tasting that amazing chicken bahn mi quickly changed my mind about that. For spring/tomball location, this has to be the best boba shop in town. I came here with one of my best friends today and she showed me her boba spot near her home. I got the lavender milk tea (5/5) and boy.. everything was on point. The lavender isn't over powering... it isn't overly sweet and the tapioca balls melts perfectly in my mouth. When entering this place, the decor is something one immediately falls in love with. It has a modern hipster look to it and it's a great place for families to come to and just relax.
