Me and my boyfriend had our first date here 7 months ago. Every month or so we always come back. Big Trouble in Little China, Jimmy Neutron, and Sweetie Pie have been our go-to. The service is amazing, the food is always fresh, the reggae is great, everything is absolutely lovely. It's a little pricy but worth it for fresh ingredients and lots of toppings. I was not satisfied with my experience. I ordered food online for my lunch break while at work. The order was expected to ready between 12:50p-1:05p. We arrived at 12:57 and was told that the order would be ready in 10 minutes. 15 minutes had surpassed and the order was still not ready. The pizza was ready and out of the oven and getting cold while the wings were being prepared. 10 more minutes had went by and the wings were still not ready. Once the wings did come out, they were prepared with the wrong sauce. The food preparer attempt to brush the sauce off of the wings before re-saucing them with the requested sauce. The order was not handed to us until 1:30pm. We took the order back to work and discovered that the wings were still had the wrong sauce. On top of this, we noticed the employees were not washing hands and not wearing gloves after handling money, another appeared to be working in his Pajamas. Overall, my coworker and I had a terrible experience. We asked to cancel the order and receive a refund but was told that it could not be done since it was online. We were told to call the number (which didn't make any sense because it was the same number as the restaurant) or to send an email. I sent an email and received no response. read more

I really wanted to find a good pizza place nearby, but was so disappointed with this one. The pizzas were not good. Crust was thin on one side like a cracker. Toppings were fine, but nothing special. My main concern was the unsanitary conditions. There were way too many employees in the tiny kitchen with uncovered beards, rubbing bald heads, scratching ears and beards, not washing hands or wearing gloves, eating, vaping while preparing food. Initial frustration went by the wayside when I got my food... Initially I sat outside but after waiting 10 minutes I was told to go in and place my order because they were "between shifts". I almost left but had already purchased their 20 for 10 special on Yelp. Get in and place my order and they have no idea what special I am referring to, but they took the 20 off the bill. They brought my pizza out with my drink but nothing to eat on or with so I had to ask for a plate and utensils. Had a great experience with our family there. Staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was great! We loved sitting outside. The restaurant is fairly small so I chose to sit outside in the garden area. Our group of 3 seated ourselves and enjoyed a couple rounds of drinks. With its country store vibe and dive bar atmosphere, it's easy for diners to loosen up. Ergo, you'll feel at home. Let's discuss the pizza. I ordered a pie called the Buff Chick. It's a pizza with buffalo chicken as the main topping. It's not included on the restaurant's latest menu, but Marley was really cool for making it. I love how the chicken and the cheese meshed together. I should mention that a personal, which was the size I got, is big enough to feed a family of four. Kick. Ass. The stuffed mushrooms were equally delicious and could be a meal on their own. First time ordering from this establishment was 9/15/19. Was staying at a hotel in Kemah and had a hard time finding a pizza place that delivers. Pizza arrived as they said it would, but we were disappointed with it. Tasteless crust and burnt. Extra Extra Cheese pepperoni pizza was so burnt it was like plastic on the pizza & the dough was so tough. Our Sweetiepie pizza was extremely burnt, beyond edible. I called and the guy said he just answers phones, but they had a rush while our pizzas were in the oven and they turn the temps up to help cook faster and ours probably ended up the way it did due to that. I spent $62 not including tip on four pizzas and two 2 liters. Horrible experience & I wouldn't recommend or ever order from there again. This place was recommended to me for the unique flavors of pizza offered. There were some definitely unique options. My party ordered tje hamburger pizza, it was amazing and the pickles really give it a good flavor. Service was friendly and attentive. He made recommendations and new the menu well. The cool thing is that they close at 2am on Fridays, not sure if they are open everyday until 2. We stayed a little after 2 but never felt rushed. We absolutely love Midnite Slice, the large and XL pizzas are great, the meatballs are great, the mushrooms a great, the fries are amazing and the ranch dressing.... If I could order a gallon I would. Do not order delivery. We have been ordering for about 2 years and in the last 3-4 months something changed. The orders get lost, the orders get forgotten, the order is an hour late... it's always something. The first time I thought, no big deal they have always been great but it has continued to happen week after week. One time they claimed I never ordered but then realized they had my exact order ready but didn't know where to deliver it. Another time they simply lost the order. Regularly they forget the ranch which is the main reason we order 4+ and pay for them. DO NOT ORDER THE YELP COUPON BECAUSE IT DOESN'T ACTUALLY EXIST, the people taking the order have no clue how to use it and they claim the delivery guy will figure it out but they don't so it is a waste of money!!! Today was the last straw, 45 minutes turned into an hour and a half... except the delivery driver saved them, he was great. Every business is suffering right now due to lack of employee. What's is insane is we live right down the road from them and somehow it takes forever even if we just order something small. The prices are going up same as everywhere else. Pros: food is decent, they are open late, they have a lot to choose from Cons: takes forever for delivery, sometimes if you order the Stromboli you get more dough than anything, and they always have new staff that is in training so it makes it difficult if you order on the regular. Overall: order for pickup and get it yourself to eliminate the wait time and avoid the Stromboli's and you'll be fine. read more

We have eaten here a couple of times, and the pizza is usually pretty good. The service when we have dined in hasn't been good at all, so we order delivery exclusively now. I don't recommend ordering their salads. Our Greek salad was delivered warm tonight, was missing the feta cheese and cucumbers, and the tomatoes were obviously not fresh. The delivery driver asked us to pay in cash to avoid making a call back to the restaurant to run our credit card. No thank you. Midnite Slice was recommended by a friend. Made the drive over this afternoon. There's a decent sized patio which made social distancing very easy. I ordered the Ninja Turtle pizza and a couple Blue Moon. The bottled beer was on the warm side. Asked the guys if they had a cold glass but they didn't. A short time later one of the guys came out with two very cold beers. He obviously put them on ice for us - great customer service. The pizza was fantastic. Thin crust NY style.
