Expensive, highly disappointing high end food. I was expecting wonderful things from this restaurant and ended up paying a very expensive bill for something really lackluster. The staff is kind of curt and rude. They seem to forget that we the people have needs and values. Food is thrown at you (to your right), and it all goes downhill from there. I ordered the short rib lasagna and it looked and tasted like an Italian yodel. It is also something that tasted like something that is reheated in the microwave, and the look of something one would expect to get on a transatlantic flight to Italy. The whole thing left me angry, but one bad meal should not reflect the overall Boston Italian cuisine experience, which may be the best in the entire country (sorry New York, you have been overthrown). Stick to the North End or Rino's.
Went for the buzz, people had been talking about it. Four of us sit down, we order mussels, gnocchi, lasagna, something else I forget, and focaccia for the table to start. The food is good. I expected my ricotta gnocchi to be as light and fluffy as the server said, it did not blow me away. I expected to really be wowed based on the $25... it did not taste better, have better service or ambience than other spots around the city for less. At these pasta-forward Italian restaurants, I always always order the gnocchi. Nothing wrong with this one, but it seems basic and overhyped. I would not order it again personally. The focaccia (9/10) was covered in cheese which was a very nice touch. It was delicious. I would absolutely order that again. My only note is if we explicitly say "for the table as an appetizer", please dont have it arrive at the same time time as the rest of the food...
Had the best dinner at MIDA South End and I totally get the hype now. The vibe is super cozy but still lively. It's perfect for date night or just catching up over really good food. We started with the arancini and focaccia, both absolutely buried under a mountain of fresh parmesan (no complaints there). The focaccia was buttery and soft with that perfect crispy edge, and the arancini were golden, cheesy, and everything you want in comfort food. For mains, I got the mushroom pappardelle. The noodles were silky and the sauce had that rich, earthy flavor that makes you not want to share. It was LOADED with mushrooms. My boyfriend got the brasato al vino rosso (braised beef), and it was melt-in-your-mouth good. super tender and packed with flavor. Service was great too, friendly, helpful, and they timed everything perfectly. If you haven't been, definitely go. It's one of those places that makes you wish you ordered one more thing just so you could stay longer.
A small, fun Italian spot. We wanted to try a new Italian restaurant and MIDA was recommended to us by a local. The service was excellent as we were only 1 of 4 tables filled at our early time. The food was very good, but in a city full of great Italian, MIDA did not stand out. The short rib lasagna was the standout with a succulent and plentiful amount of beef and a sweet and savory tomato sauce. The chicken was very good as was the amatriciana. The mushroom pappardelle was one note. All-in-all a nice experience that we would not write home about.
Between struggling to find a reservation that wasn't so late and the reviews online, I had high expectations for this place. We were finally able to secure a reservation for a Saturday night at 8:30. We arrived right on time, but the hostess informed us the people who were sitting at the table that was going to be ours was finishing up, but it would be ready soon. During this time, I took the opportunity to look around, and I concluded that it's a cute restaurant that has used every inch of its space quite well; it was packed in there. It was also dim, relying on the windows to bring in most of the light for a tranquil feel. They have a bar area, a couple of long tables, but also high tables for two and booths hugging the windows. After about 10 minutes, we were seated. We did not order any starters so we could satisfy our hunger with the entrée. I went with their rock shrimp carbonara to play it safe, and my friend ordered their paccheri bolognese. The presentation was nice, but after taking my first bite, I was disappointed. It felt like all the flavors were diluted. I am used to eating carbonara that has a thick, flavorful sauce clinging to every surface area of noodle, salty, smoked flavor from the guanciale or pancetta, and cheesiness from the Parmesan. But, the sauce on this was very watery and the pork was prosciutto which wasn't quite as salty. The shrimp was a different take, but I felt it further diluted the flavor since shrimp has a neutral flavor. I had a couple bites of the bolognese. Although I thought it was better than the carbonara, I thought it too lacked a "wow" flavor. It was pretty. standard, but I will say the pasta shape was unique and it worked in keeping the sauce in, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The prices weren't too bad - somewhere around $25 - $28 (each) for our plates.
Went to dinner at MIDA and the experience was good, but the dish I got was the vegan dairy pasta, and it was okay but the mushroom flavor was so potent that the dish was almost hard to eat, and I love mushrooms. My sister had the gnocchi and it was amazing and my friend got the salmon and it was also good. So we liked the experience but it didn't blow my mind.
I really liked the ambiance here. The music was great and added to the overall vibe but wasn't too loud. Service was overall friendly from the host to the waitress. Overall the food was ok. There were some hits and misses. For instance, the carrots were absolutely amazing and were complimentary due to a mix up while the gnocchi cacio e Pepe was too oily and separated too much. The Caesar salad was delicious but my husband wasn't impressed by the short rib lasagna and said it was cold and lacked flavor. I tasted it and agreed.
Third time's the charm! My first 2 visits to Mida's Eastie location didn't impress (gorg views though), but their South End spot was a winner. While the foccacia was too oily and service was subpar, the eggplant parm, olives, mushroom pasta, burrata, and almond cake were a hit! Great spot for veg options!
I will forever think about this lasagna. You combine 2 things the beauty of short rib and the delicious layers of love with a lasagna. The twist on this classic dish is a match made in heaven, so much so that not only did we get it but it seemed every other table did too. A real crowd pleaser. The server was great he was kind, tended to us without even asking. Restaurant was modern and clean. I will definitely come back and recommend this dish to all my friends. I'm still in disbelief how good it was and how it felt like home
It wasn't just that the food was fabulous, the whole experience was so as well. Amanda our server, saw to our every need. She was informative, funny and helpful from how to avoid allergy issues for one in our party to balancing our appetizer selections with our entree choices. She saw to our needs throughout. Mathew, the assistant manager was also a delight! He made an excellent wine selection that paired well with all our choices and was also very attentive. Everyone seemed happy to be working at Mida. Our food was similarly lovely including the Caesar salad, the burrata, the salmon! (Would love to know how they charred the skin, it was so delicious). I casually mentioned that the beans with the salmon were so good they could be a meal on their own and lovely Amanda brought us the beans to go! The lasagna deserves the raves it gets. A completely delightful experience!
I'm from San Diego and was in Boston for a work conference when I stumbled upon Mida after seeing it on TikTok...and I'm so glad I did! I came in on a Thursday and was thrilled to find out they had a buck-a-shuck oyster deal. I ordered six oysters and the seafood risotto, and both were absolutely amazing. The oysters were fresh and perfectly briny, and the risotto was even better than I could have imagined...creamy, flavorful, and loaded with seafood. You can really taste the difference in seafood quality here compared to back home in San Diego. Also, shoutout to their dirty martinis. strong, perfectly balanced, and chef's kiss I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Boston!

Awesome spot. Came for the first time in mid August. Super busy so definitely recommend a reservation. The restaurant tries to limit timing on reservations so be timely - that was the one downside because at times it felt rushed. We enjoyed the cocktails, calamari, and short rib lasagna. The couple we were with loved their pasta dishes as well (see our spread). The restaurant split the lasagna for my husband and I which made it a reasonable portion per person. The tiramisu was authentic and delicious as well. Would definitely come again! read more

Wonderful spot for dinner! We came for mangia Monday which was a LOT of food (had leftovers) but it was fun to try so many pastas. It seems like their mangia Monday pasta selection changes at times also. Overall, everything was quite salty and we probably could have gotten more bread to pair with the sauces. The service was very attentive aside from the long wait for the last pasta. The interior was quite nice although the lights kept getting dimmer and dimmer as the night went on. - north shore fritto misto (additionally ordered): humongous portion but not too much calamari or clam strips. A pretty coarse (cornmeal?) batter which isn't super crispy but everything was very flavorful. The fried cherry peppers were really tasty but almost too salty and acidic. The fried preserved lemons were pretty good but some pieces tasted bitter. - insalata mista: fresh lettuce with tons of crunchy bread crumbs and pistachios in a bright dressing - gnocchi cacio e pepe: tender and al dente gnocchi with lots of cheesy and pepper, tasty but almost too salty and rich - mushroom risotto: highly recommend, quite a large portion of creamy risotto with bacon (?) bits and a ton of mushrooms (shimeji?) - eggplant Parmesan: comes half portion for mangia Monday, pretty light tomato sauce with soft eggplant (not at all crispy or firm), also quite salty and would have paired well with bread - paccheri bolognese: my favorite pasta! A rich pork sauce paired with slightly bitter broccoli rabe that is picked up with the paccheri pasta - bucatini all amatriciana: chewy pasta with light sauce and large pieces of crispy and meaty guanciale, a bit too rich - pistachio gelato (separately ordered): a very large scoop with flavorful olive oil, the gelato itself tastes more like almonds and is lightly sweet and creamy - citrus cake (gifted for an occasion): citrusy cake with berry topping and yogurt on the side, not too extraordinary read more

Soooo much yes!! We were celebrating a special event and Mida went above and beyond to make sure we had a good night. We were seated outside promptly in fact even slightly before our reservation. Then the servers immediately brought us a free round! Nester (....I think that was his name) was light hearted yet attentive and gave excellent recommendations. We ordered the arancini as a starter and the paccheri bolognese and the short rib lasagna. HOLY MOLY THE BEST ITALIAN I'VE HAD IN A LONG LONG TIME. The secret garden cocktail was also delicious! Honestly no complaints here. Everything, the food, drinks, and the service came together in a most glorious and resplendent harmony. This was definitely one of my better choices. read more

Overall, my food was a solid 4/5. However, the brunch biscuits were hands down a 5/5! Parking can be a little tricky though (limited to street parking only) since it's located in the South End. read more

Absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere great drinks. I started off with the cheese rice tomato things (idk what it's called) super delicious. For my main I ordered pork pasta and it was scrumptious. Shirley temple and grapefruit non-alcoholic spritz were so good. Definitely recommend if in the area. Edit: by far the best pasta I've ever had read more
Service, decor, and vibes were great but we're here to talk about the food! Got to try a variety of food and while I wasn't blown away (except for 1 dish) - I was impressed enough that I'd definitely come back to try other things. The star of the meal was the carbonara. This was by far one of the best pastas I've ever had. This was a special so be mindful of that. It was advertised as a traditional carbonara to us but it wasn't really. It was lemony and salty packed with immense flavor. It had clams (which is optional) that I enjoyed and the guanciale was also really good. Meanwhile a majority of the other food was forgettable to me including the wagyu, foccacia (bland), the meats and cheeses plate, and campanelle. Each of these dishes were really missing that extra something that would make it delicious. read more

Mida has been on my list for a while so I'm glad that I finally got to try it! The restaurant is nice and airy, but sitting right by the window in the direct line of the sun was very sweaty and not a great experience. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive, we never had an empty glass. The north shore fritto misto came with fried lemon, calamari, cherry peppers, oysters, and clam strips. It was phenomenal!! Our entrees took very long, over 2 hours to come out, which wasn't great but we were given complimentary arancini to make up for it. The short rib lasagna was incredible, we were a little full from the apps, but inhaled every last bit of it. I'm personally not a huge bolognese fan normally, but they knocked it out of the park with the paccheri, which had bits of green herby broccoli rabe. Mida has a pretty limited menu but I would definitely come back! read more
I visited MIDA for the first time recently with a group of friends and we were all so happy with our meal! First, I must complement the amazing service there, we had originally made a reservation for an outdoor table and called them that day when the forecast has switched to rain - they immediately set us up with an indoor table even though no reservations had previously been available for one, and we were so happy they were able to accommodate us + the weather. Now to the good stuff, the food and drink. MIDA's menu is really nicely sized - appropriate for diners with most dietary restrictions, but not too many choices such that you feel like you're reading a novel when you go to order. Also, be sure to take a look at what other folks are ordering when you walk in, the focaccia on the menu doesn't seem like much but oh boy when you spot that baby from across the room, you KNOW you'll be ordering one. Obviously we did wind up getting an order of focaccia and arancini to split and I really appreciated that even though the order may not have originally come with 4 slices/4 arancini, they served it like that for our group of four. HOLY CANNOLI everything was so tasty! That focaccia is the real winner here - crispy, herby, cheesy - she's got it all! Since the group was split down the middle half-vegetarian half-not, we opted to split 4 pastas (gnocchi cacio e pepe - veg, spaccatellei al pesto - veg, rock shrimp carbonara - non veg, and bucatini al amatriciana - non veg ) between the table for our mains. Although a couple of the dishes were a little spicy for one of our friends, the other three of us readily devoured everything! The highlight of the veg options was definitely the gnocchi and of the non-veg options was the rock shrimp carbonara - both were so full of flavor and very filling. The portion sizes were appropriate given the listed cost of each dish ($25-28). We also really enjoyed their wine and drink selection! It was cool that they had a rotating wine and cocktail (when I went their wine was a nice light fruity red and the cocktail was a 'last word' which I don't see on the menu many places and really respected). All in all, a lovely meal, friendly staff, and clean and welcoming ambiance, and some FIRE FOCACCIA! I'll be back, MIDA, don't you worry. I'll be back. read more
Great takeout experience from Mida during COVID! A strange thing was that we couldn't order our food via Doordash or Caviar in the morning, and had a hard time reaching the restaurant by phone to troubleshoot. Ultimately we were able to contact them via Instagram and they informed me that online ordering would be available during specific hours during their dinnertime. Once we figured that out, it was a great experience. We ordered the mangia madness (5 pastas, bread, and salad for two) - half of the pastas are naturally vegetarian, but the restaurant was really accommodating and was able to make some of the non-veggie dishes vegetarian. This was such a treat as we often shy away from fine Italian dining because of the vegetarian limitations. All 5 pastas we ordered was very tasty and well packaged on delivery. The eggplant parm was quite salty but we still polished it off. Two of us ate quite a lot and we still have leftovers! Excited to return. read more

I came for dinner. They serve nice and soft bread with very fragrant olive oil. The focaccia with cheese and chives was delicious. The pasta was perfectly al dente. The amalfi coast and espresso martini cocktails were good. It's a well-loved place in Boston and black-owned. read more

**Disclaimer: this review is solely based on reservation practice** Per the screenshot from MIDA's own site (attached), we tried to call the restaurant to reserve a same day table for 2 for outdoor dining, but never got a hold of anyone. We tried over the course of 45 minutes, but no one picked up If your policy for outdoor seating is to call, please do a better job at adhering to your own policy. There are still people like us who aren't doing indoor dining, and this makes it impossible to secure a table read more

Great place for a special occasion or when you want to treat yourself! I'm sure you cannot go wrong with any of their drinks or food. The Secret Garden (drink) was both tasty and strong. For my entree, I got the short rib lasagna, which had a lovely breaded crust on top and a generous amount of sauce that enhanced its presentation. The portion sizes were pretty good too, as I was able to bring half of my lasagna home despite being super hungry when I arrived. Enjoyed the vibes but happy to report that it's also okay if you're not dressed up in your nicest clothes. It was super busy even at 8pm on a Wednesday night, so definitely would recommend making a reservation (I made mine one day in advance). Only thing I wish is that the bread came out sooner while we waited! The bread was nice and fluffy though - big fan. read more

I was visiting Boston for work and my friend recommended we have dinner at this Black owned Italian restaurant called MIDA and I was so glad she did!! When she said it was Black owned I was super intrigued and couldn't wait to taste all the things! It was 7 of us so we ordered apps for the table to share before our entrees. Everything was delicious! The caesar salad was so good that we ordered it twice lol! The entrees were immaculate! Not one complaint at our table! The playlist kept us grooving throughout the night. I still can't get over the delicious bolognese! And of course we had to end the night with dessert! The tiramisu and citrus almond cake stole the dessert show! But my after dinner drink was the real star! The La Cioccolata! I had a time learning how to say it LOL but it was one of the best tasting things to ever grace my palate! The ambiance was nice and the service was great! This was an amazing night in food history for me! Please dine here! Read 4.5 stars!! I've been here a number of times and have had an incredible experience every time. The first was for a special occasion, and our lovely waiter brought us a glass of dessert wine to finish our meal. Mangia Pasta Monday is a MUST for all you can eat pasta! For my last plate they unfortunately brought the wrong order, but they're all so delicious I didn't even mind. Romaine salad- perfectly crisp and acidic Lobster scampi- a favorite of mine. Buttery, generous serving of lobster, and fresh Carbonara- very rich (which could be good or bad depending on your palate), plenty of cheese, and flavorful Gnocchi- a little softer than I'd prefer, but flavors were great Bucatini- a bit acidic, and the pasta texture was a little hard. On the lower end as far as pasta goes Bolognese- my favorite pasta dish, it never disappoints! Pasta is perfectly al dente with just enough chewiness. Broccoli rabe and bread crumbs adds a great crunch. Texture and flavor is spot on Tiramisu- so fresh and delicious, an absolute must And they deliver! Seamless, well packaged, and easily disinfected. MIDA is the definition of black excellence, and I am a forever patron! read more
Delicious! Service was great and our waiter was super helpful. Drinks were also good, but wasn't amazing. I did order their drink special of the day and it was a sweeter version of an old fashion, didn't really hit tho. The dessert tho, just make sure you order some. Delish. I do think the brisket lasagna was a good item to try out and it was very good, butttt I think it could've had more flavor to where the brisket wasn't too overbearing, but I think it's still worth trying especially if you love brisket. Also it is very congested inside, not much room and they do have a time limit of 90 minutes they try to hold you to. We felt a bit rushed, but again, service was very friendly and their food is worth the visit so of course they want to try to seat as many people as they can in a timely manner. I believe we did get to be seated longer than 90, but didn't want to overstay our welcome too much. I definitely want to come back to try a couple of other dishes I didn't get to try, but I'll probably be going to their new ocean front east Boston location which seems more like my vibe read more

Food: 4.5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Wow. This place is really great!! Not only is the interior beautiful, but the food really lives up to the hype! We were not that hungry, so we only got two entrees, but next time I would come back for the Arancini, Mussels, and the Tiramisu because of the rave reviews. Paccheri Bolognese (4/5): this dish was super light, and not like a traditional bolognese, but still really good! Even though it was not traditional, I really enjoyed the nuanced flavors of the dish, the slight bitterness of broccoli rabe really came through and there was a light pepperyness that really elevated it. Would definitely recommend! Short rib lasagna (5/5): if you get anything else here, GET THIS!!!! This was absolutely delicious, as someone who is typically not a lasagna fan. Unlike the bolognese, the portion size for this was huge and due to how packed it was, it was very filling (had half of it leftover for later!) Every part of this was balanced, it was not overly cheesy or overly saucy like some lasagnas. I've never had short rib in a lasagna before either but this was a perfect combo. Truly amazing! Overall, I will definitely be coming back and getting more appetizers. Also, was happy to find out this was a black owned business! Definitely come support. * (No shade but would 100% recommend this place over many Italian places in the north end due to the ambience, food, and the ease of parking.) Overall: This was my second time coming to this restaurant for dinner. The food was consistently amazing and both experiences were delightful. 10/10 would come here again! Food: The food here is absolutely amazing. I love their gnocchi and their lasagna, however my friends have ordered their other items (equally as amazing). You have to get the Sicilian Mussels if you like some seafood! The server gave us complimentary bread (during our entree course) so that we could soak up the remaining sauce from our dishes. Service: The servers here are always on top of it! They check in enough to make sure everything is going well without overwhelming us. The servers also do a great job of recommending food, so don't hesitate to ask! Ambiance: The overall aesthetic of the restaurant is very picture worthy. The lighting inside is great for a date night and the volume level of the restaurant is minimal, making it great to hold conversations. During my second visit, we sat outside and we had a similar experience. The light coming from inside the restaurant illuminates the tables on the side, giving it a romantic but more casual atmosphere. Parking: MIDA is located right on the corner an intersection, so it was easy to find some street parking close by. read more
Mida served up the dinner that I wanted in Boston. I had originally found this restaurant when I did some research on restaurants to check out in Boston. I typically do not eat at Italian restaurants, but I decided to check this place out based on word-of-mouth. I had reservations for Mida set up for a week prior to visiting Boston. Street parking can be a bit difficult around this neighborhood, so I ended up going earlier than my reservation time. When I arrived, the hostess was able to have us seated at the bar to order drinks until our table was ready. Within a few short minutes of sitting down, we were able to sit at our reserved table, 20 minutes ahead of schedule. I am thankful for how accommodating the restaurant was to us. After we sat, it did not take long to have the drinks that we ordered served to our table. We were able to get our appetizers in. We ordered the ARANCINI and MARINATED OLIVES. The olives were pretty good, but the ARANCINI was phenomenal. The ARANCINI are fried rice and cheese balls. This is definitely a must order to start your meal at Mida, in my humble opinion. The sauce complimented the fried cheesiness. As our main plates, we ordered the SHORT RIB LASAGNA and the BUCATINI ALL AMATRICIANA. The lasagna was a very generous serving. You can eat plenty while at the restaurant and still have enough left over to take home. It was very filling and appropriately priced. The bucatini was pretty good as well. It was the perfect portion and the pasta was pretty thick. It was enough to leave me satisfied, without feeling stuffed. To end our meal, we ordered a tiramisu to share. Typically, I am not a fan of tiramisu, but decided to try it out at this restaurant. To my surprise, the tiramisu here is amazing! This was honestly the best tiramisu that I have ever had. When they bring the tiramisu to the table, they pour a shot of espresso over it, which adds a nice touch to the experience. The combination of the espresso flavor, the sponginess of the dessert, and the slightly-sweet cream all came together really well. Overall, Mida was a great restaurant to visit in Boston and I recommend others to check it out if they are looking for an Italian restaurant in Boston. The staff is super accommodating. Oh my Mida! The restaurant name means "he gives me" and aims to create meals that are meant to be a gift just for you and the service and food definitely didn't disappoint. This particular location is located in the quaint south end neighborhood on the corner of Massachusett's Ave and Treemont St. I visited Mida during my trip to Boston and made reservations at Mida in advance as part of a surprise for my best friend's birthday. Mida is one of his favorite restaurants and I can definitely see why after coming here. Service: The staff at Mida were amazing and made our experience at the restaurant a memorable one despite not being able to bring our custom cake (see below). It started raining so they had to move everyone who had patio reservations inside but was very super courteous in ensuring that all indoor appointment times were kept as well. The staff kept providing us with updates on approximate wait time and on tables that were paying and about to leave. The restaurant itself isn't really big so I really appreciate how hard they tried to accommodate all guests in a timely manner. The menus were displayed via scanning QR codes but the staff still took the time to explain to us the menu and signature dishes etc. Our server was also very attentive and was keen on making sure we had enough water and made sure to ask how our food was tasting. The intimate experience really made the experience feel like it was personalized to the guests. Note about service: They do charge a "cake/slicing" fee so if you plan to celebrate a special occasion and have your own cake expect a fee. I don't remember the exact amount they quoted but it was hefty enough (more than the cost of the custom cake) that we decided to not bring the cake. For reference, the cake itself was over $50. If the cakeage wasn't more expensive than the cake itself, I would've considered bringing the cake and paying for the cakeage This downside of being unable to bring the cake is probably the major contributor for rating Mida 4 stars instead of 5-stars. Not being able to celebrate with the cake at the restaurant definitely did affect the vibe a bit. The staff did however bring out a slice of red velvet with a candle so that we could still sing happy birthday. *I'm not sure if this is a Boston thing but I've never had a restaurant charge extra for bringing a custom-ordered cake for a birthday celebration at the restaurant. We had our own plates, slicer, and forks so we wouldn't even have had to use their supplies. This cakeage is definitely new to me. Cost: $$ Average price Appetizers and side dishes ranged from $6-$25. Pasta ranged from $22 to $35 while entrees ranged from $22-$25 which I've found to be quite standard throughout most Boston Italian restaurants. Poriton sizes were just right in my opinion especially if you plan to share. Most dishes are tapas style and meant to be shared portions weren't too big like most Americanized Italian restaurants and not too small leaving you feeling unsatisfied. I would definitely recommend bringing a friend or two so you can share and try everything on the menu Food: As a party of 3 we ordered 2 kinds of pasta and an entree. We decided on the gnocchi cacio e pepe, bucatini all amatriciana, and the smoked short rib lasagna. Gnocchi Cacio e Pepe: This dish is a twist on the simple but delicious cacio e pepe subbing spaghetti for gnocchi. The gnocchi instead of spaghetti is a nice touch as it allows you to better indulge in the flavors and provide a texture that melts in your mouth. The flavors of this dish were really flavorful. Personally, I just wish it were a bit cheesier but then again I just love cheese. Short Rib Lasagna: This dish was HIGHLY recommended by one of my friends and I'm glad we tried it! is arguably one of the best lasagnas I've ever had. The short ribs can only be described as marinated and cooked to perfection. The meat is so tender that it melts in your mouth. Each bite was filled with flavor and juiciness. The lasagna itself was also the perfect texture as it wasn't too dry or moist. If you had to try one dish from the menu it would be this! Bucatini All Amatriciana: This is a classic comfort pick and you can't go wrong on this one. The sauce was definitely really rich and flavorful. To top it off, sprinkles of pecorino romano cheese to add that extra kick. Overall, I would recommend Mida and would love to come back during my next trip to Boston! read more

Maybe if you go really early or on a weeknight. Otherwise I'd say it's not really a place for kids.
