Absolutely amazing surgeon! Dr. Michael Bublik is incredible, If I can rate this with more stars I would!! He fixed my deviated septum from a hit to the nose 3 years ago changed my airway and caused my nose to shift to the right. ( I had a deviated septum) I visited two other ENT specialist before Bublik and let me tell you I was not about to have either of them touch my face after a uncaring uninterested short consultation . When I met Bublik it was an instant connection, I knew he understood what I wanted and we agreed on the same changes, ( not only did he say he can fix my deviated septum he does rhinoplasty as well !! Even better!!) He does more than tell you what he is envisioning but he shows you a Before & After morph photo. Amazingggg right!!! We'll right away I made an appointment and next thing you know I'm in hospital bed wearing my hospital gown ready for my new nose. Four hours later I wake up , with a cast on my nose seeing birds fly. Lol I went home with no pain and slept off the drugs. I had swelling for two days and bruising for a week. I saw Bublik the very next day and then every two to three days then once every week and now every two weeks . The results were in after two weeks from the surgery. I have a clear airway, I don't have trouble sleeping at night, no more snoring, and of course I love the look of my cosmetic nose. I have a nice profile now. I had him shave down the small bump I had and add a bit more of a tip to my nose which I did not have before using my own skin graft. Plus he fixed the curve I had gotten. I can't say enough how grateful I am to have such great results that came so close to the morphing pictures . He's talented and I highly recommend Bublik for Rhinoplasty . read more

I had a series of strep throat and after the 3rd time finding nasty spots on my tonsils I decided to visit his office. Dr. Bublik was extremely professional, helpful and took his time with me. He recommended a tonsillectomy. He also looked into my nose where he discovered a deviated septum. He decided it would be best to knock two birds with one stone and I decided that would be best because I had an issue with breathing and snoring. Surgery went VERY well, fixing the deviated septum helped me so much and I am very grateful he suggested that procedure. Also, the strep throat never returned. I don't get sick often. Assured at the time of consultation that it is free of charge like most of the plastic surgeons offer. Next thing I know billed for $371... Worked with his billing department to resolve the issue for months!!! after my last letter thought it was resolved and that's last year 2017 ... they went ahead and reported to collection agency under my son who is 20 years old full time college student in 2018 and now collection agency is giving me NO choice but to pay as will ruin my son's credit!!! We decided to go with Dr. Bublik, after seeing 2 other doctors. He explained our options and we made the decision to get the surgery. Dr. Bublik, performed rhinoplasty and corrected deviated septum for my son recently. Prior to the surgery, my son's breathing was very bad. You could hear him breathing. Now his breathing has improved so much and his nose looks so much better than before and looks very natural. I've had sinus problems and sleep apnea for about twenty years. I've seen numerous ENTs, all of who described what they'd like to do and the level of pain and recovery. Dr. Bublik, in contrast, described a vet conservative procedure with minimal pain and a quick recovery. He definitely put me at ease and I decided to go ahead with the procedure. I was pleasantly surprised that after the procedure, my only need for pain pills was the sore throat from the tube down my throat during the operation, no pain at all from the nose area at all. Within the first few days I felt decent enough to work, and after the first cleaning, I could breathe better than I ever had---actually that was true even immediately after surgery. I've never been able to breathe through my nose at all, so to me, the results were off the charts good! I always had problems with runny nose and persistent cough. I saw multiple ENTs but regardless of what they did my symptoms didn't go away. Finally I saw Dr. Bublik. What a great experience! I had the balloon sinuplasty, which is done while you are awake and it was completely painless and simple. Dr. Bublik's technique is great and he knows what he is doing. Surgery coordinator, Veronica, is simply awesome and friendly. I had plenty of questions regarding the procedure and I felt very comfortable calling and asking her. First of all, I don't like doctors. Whether it's because my own father is a doctor, or because I subscribe to Eastern philosophies that frown on cutting and pasting humans rather than healing the mindset that causes the disease in the first place, I'm not sure. Having said that, though, I have to say that I adore Michael Bublik! After letting a basal cell carcinoma fester on my face for seven years, I broke down and allowed a dermatologist to remove it...which left a quarter-sized hole in my face. Cursed with waaaaaaayyy too many years of Marcus Welby, MD and Medical Center, I just assumed that a little duct tape and some moisturizer would make it all better. Yeah....no. In steps Dr. Bublik. With a stint in a surgical center...anesthesia, intubation and everything. In a word "AAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHH" I sweat, I fretted, I stewed....and, all the while, he and Anna and his amazing staff held my hand, guided me to pre-surgical testing, held my hand some more...they got me through. Even when I made the decision to have the procedure of closing the wound done under local anesthesia, rather than general, Dr. Bublik patiently and calmly - yet firmly - said, "Yeah, no, you're not doing it under local." Not the best allergy doctor that I would go see. After a few visits, allergy shots weren't recommended. Furthermore, I have not received calls for checkups or any appointments to make. All this doctor did was an allergy test and repeatedly prescribed me medication which didn't work on me very well. It had made my allergy symptoms a lot worse. I'm glad that I switched to Dr. Demirjian. She is the best allergy doctor that I could ever have found. I'm receiving allergy shots at the Allergy and Asthma Treatment Center. For those who have severe allergy, I would recommend switching to Dr. Demirjian. She knows way better compared to Dr. Bublik. read more

Dr. Bublik was highly recommended to me by a very close friend of mine. I live in San Diego, so it is a bit of a drive to Glendale but well worth it. For about a year or so I suffered from not being able to breathe and worst of all, I kept smelling this strange odor that I couldn't place my finger on, no pun intended...lol. First off, I went to an ENT near my home. Scans and MRI's were ordered. I had 100% blocked Sinuses on the left side. I had polyps, I was a mess! I took the advice of my dear friend and made an appointment with Dr. Bublik, made the drive up. I was very nervous at first, Dr. Bublik and his wonderful staff made me feel absolutely comfortable. Dr. Bublik and his staff are all very nice and professional. My sinus surgery was scheduled. Again, I was very nervous but at the surgery center, I met with Dr. Bublik before the procedure, I felt comfortable and ready to go forward. When I woke up from the procedure, I didn't feel any pain, my recovery was comfortable. I really didn't have any discomfort to speak of, just felt like some sinus pressure. A couple of weeks later, I felt back to my normal self but now...... I can breathe!! Yeah!! And that funny smell was gone! I don't have to use Flonase, Netty Pods, allergy pills, nothing!! Great manners and knowledge. I was referred to Dr Bublik after my old ENT doctor retired. I have always suffered from heavy nose bleeds since childhood. In 2006, I had sinus surgery to correct a deviated septum, remove polyps and to help with nose bleeds and sinus infections. Surgery was a success; with the exception of the nose bleeds. Jan 2016, I began have severe nose bleeds out of both nostrils which was not normal for me. After about 2 weeks like this, I contacted my old ENT's office and then I came to see Dr Bublik. His office staff is very nice and welcoming. I had a mix up on my appointment time, but they found time to squeeze me in. (They accept Anthem Blue Cross.) Dr Bublik did not rush with me at all. He took his time to listen to my history and concerns. When it was all said and done- I received a moisture spray in the office and was told to buy two over the counter medicines. I was not pressured into unneeded medicine or procedures. Dr Bublik said my prior surgery looked like a 100% success. A great experience for someone who hates going to see a doctor! --- Back 3/8/16 for my follow up. A lot shorter wait since I knew what time to come in! Staff was super nice again. I've been a life long sufferer of allergies and chronic stuffy nose since I was a teenager (I'm now 40). It's been bothering me for so long, it was just a part of living. Throughout my adult life, I've started to developing loud snoring and sleep apnea. It got to the point where I was constantly tired, I would wake up with anxiety, and my wife couldn't sleep because of my snoring. Allergy pills didn't help all that much. The CPAP machine didn't help too much because I would always take it off during the night. But what I did notice is breathing through my nose was gradually getting more difficult. Then I had a friend tell me about her nose surgery and she was getting because of sleep apnea. As she was telling me her story, I realized her symptoms were the same as my symptoms. So I went to go see her surgeon, Dr. Michael Bublik. After a consultation, it was confirmed I had a deviated septum. I got a CT scan and finally got to see how crooked the inside of nose was. I had surgery in June 2020 to get everything fixed and cleaned up. I apparently had a lot of polyps too. I'll have to say it was the best decision of my life. Once you gain the ability to breathe thru your nose like a normal human being is when you realize how dysfunctional life has been for the past 25 years. Since the surgery, I am not dependent on naps during the day, I wake up with energy, and I have energy to play with my kids.Everyone in the office was great and was willing to help in every step of the way. Stephen, the Physician's Assistant, always made time to answer all my questions. Veronica was very upfront about all billing and helpful with scheduling the surgery. I am so so happy I went to see Dr. Bublik. I had been seeing a Cedar-Sinai ENT for a long time and he did not help me. I had very bad allergies, a deviated septum, and nasal polyps and my previous doctor would tell me to take medicine and that there was nothing else he could do for me. After a friend of mine had surgery done with Dr. Bublik I decided it was time to change ENTs. I went to see Dr. Bublik and he had me get a CT Scan done. I usually don't write much on Yelp, but Dr. Bublik is very deserving of a 5 star rating and this review. Dr B was recommended to us by a family friend who is a local plastic surgeon but not an ENT, which is what my 21 year old son needed. Dr Bublik is the "full package". He is a very skilled ENT (multiple board certified) who corrected my son's severe sinus/polyp issues and also created the perfectly crafted nose on the outside which compliments his face beautifully. He is currently 3 weeks post surgery and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. Positively no more breathing issues!!! One week after surgery we experienced a slight complication of bleeding. Dr. Bublik and his staff jumped into action and solved the problem very quickly. His compassion and patience makes the healing process very easy. What a great and caring doctor. I've been plagued with migraines and sinus issues since I was a child. I was misdiagnosed with a sinus cyst in high school, but never had the finances to take care of it. When I got a new job and insurance, I looked for the best doctor to perform my surgery. I found Dr. Bublik and was told it wasn't a cyst, so much as a build up that was blocking an entire sinus cavity. I had my surgery within the month. No problems with my recovery, and Dr. Bublik and his staff were there to answer any questions I had. It's been almost a year, and I have yet to gave a sinus infection and my headaches have dropped dramatically. I could not be more thankful for all the individuals in Dr.Bublik's office. I had an allergic skin reaction that was really frustrating. I decided to go to a specialist and tried my luck by calling all the offices I could find on Google (given that it was on a Friday afternoon and I wanted to be seen as soon as possible), but despite my plea and desperation for an office to accept to see me even for an out of pocket consultation I was turned down until I called Dr.Bublik's office. The front desk receptionists, Ellen and Natalia, did everything to schedule my visit even though it was a last-minute call on a Friday. They were so supportive and understanding, greeting me with a smile when I entered and as I left the office. The doctor was not there at the time, so I was scheduled to see the PA named Stephen. Stephen was truly amazing. It has been challenging through the years to find someone who has physican and bedside manners, and coming across someone like Stephen was a blessing. He listened to me throughout the session without interrupting or making me feel rushed. He took the time to pay attention to the details, look at what I have been using, explain what I should do next, and ease all of my worries. This is truly an amazing office, and I am so gratified that I will be scheduling all my appointments with them from now on. read more

Like the person before me, I signed up on yelp just to review this doctor. It was that awful. Where do I even begin? I went to see him for a sinus infection, and he did seem trustworthy. I trusted him when he said I needed a deviated septum surgery, and then some other procedures to allow me breathe better. Surgery was performed, thousands of dollars spent, my deviated septum is still deviated, my breathing isn't any better. Now (a year later) I get those nose bleeds and various unpleasant sensations. He just made it all so much worse for me. If I knew back then that he was just selling me services I didn't need... I did see another doctor later, and he said he would've never done the things Bublik did. Be aware. Get a second opinion before you let him touch you. And not that it matters, but his staff (specifically, the office manager) is very unprofessional. If you're just making an appointment, you'll probably be fine. But if you need to interact more, you'll see how rude and clueless she is. 4/27/2015 So this doctor took the opportunity to turn this warning into self-promotion, but none of his words reduce the damages done. 6/11/2015 Now he deleted the part where he was self-promoting himself and admitting he remembered treating me. Making an appointment on his website was easy and there was nearly no wait when I arrived. I came in to see Dr. Bublik due to issues with my ability to breath out of my nose, loss of smell and constant headaches, he recommend an in office procedure the only takes 15-30 mins and wow! I usually don't write many reviews, but this one had to be shared. The young receptionist is by far one of the rudest people I've ever spoken to. Once you're at the office all they're trying to do is push procedures on you, and nothing to help you maintain or prevent allergies. Initially I asked them what the out-of-pocket would be, mind you I had Provided my insurance. After "looking into it" I was told not to worry the insurance would cover most of it. I was given a prescription to Flonase and push to have a sinus in office surgery. No other medication prescription or guidelines are provided. When I told them I did not have the funds to do a procedure and I would really like to just maintain and prevent occurrences, they told me to do an allergy test. Knowing that I cannot pay for anything too expensive as I am not working, I was assured the insurance would cover it. I went in for the allergy test, an older lady came into the room with the needles and pre-prepped trays. When I asked if I had to get a gown she did not want to provide one. She was very rough all the injections started bleeding. Numerous times she open the door and I noticed a gentleman staring right at me when I had my shirt around my neck sitting there with just my bra on. I told her I can't believe you exposed me she just laughed it off saying he didn't see anything. I called and asked to speak to the manager, his response was "we are doing everything in our new office to prevent such incidences". Great how does that help with me, I felt violated. But again did nothing for my situation for being exposed and was very inconsiderate. I have never been to an office so rude, irresponsible, and they did not want to take the fault in their horrible mistakes. I was sent a bill for over $1000, and when I called to discuss what happened, they did not seem to care. Be careful and avoid this office by all means, they don't care for the patient, all their hours for the money. read more
