This place is great. I was able to get in incredibly quickly with PA Shirvanian. She was very thorough and knowledgeable about my condition MCAS which can be hard to find treatment for. My previous allergist thinks I may also have an incredibly rare condition called Progesterone Hypersensitivity but said we had already tried everything, so my symptoms become unbearable during certain times in my cycle. She came up with a medication adjustment we could try and said she would help me explore options. Here's the part I was most impressed by- a couple weeks later I got a call from her- she had spoken with the other doctor who has treated this condition and came up with a comprehensive plan if I wanted to get a formal diagnosis. She also discussed a medication option I haven't tried yet if I didn't want to go that route. This meant so much to me- it's felt really scary dealing with this potentially rare issue with no options, and the fact that she took so much time to come up with a plan and spent valuable time discussing it on the phone just shows she really cares about her patients and is able to be flexible with trying new things based on individual needs- which in my opinion is the single most important factor that makes an excellent provider. Everything is all well and good until you try to schedule your injection appointments. My son needs weekly shots and when he doesn't make the weekly appointment, they have to repeat his dose. But they have more patients than they have slots per week, so we are routinely unable to make appointments, and routinely have to repeat doses. I've complained about this before and they immediately jumped on here and say, "Oh we're so sorry, we're hiring more people soon so that won't be a problem!" And in fairness, shortly after making that promise, they did hire more people and getting appointments became easier. But a few months later, the same problems are happening all over. If you haven't gotten appointments booked a 1+ month in advance, there's a solid chance you're not getting in. And they only let you have 4 appointments at a time, so it's a weekly guess as to whether you'll be able to book the next one or not. Frankly, it smells like more $$$$$ for them -- they take in more patients, they make more money, and then when those patients can't make the weekly appointments they're told they need, then they get more $$$$$ for the repeated doses. I'd highly suggest that if you're making your choice now, choose someplace that actually has the bandwidth and personnel to handle the number of patients that they have, unlike this place. read more

Was my first time doing allergy testing ever. I was super nervous, but the staff were extremely sweet and made the experience super easy!

I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Kayla and the allergy team here. Kayla has honestly been one of my favorite medical providers I've ever had. She's funny, knowledgeable, empowering, and somehow always had an answer to every question I threw at her. Most importantly, she made me feel seen and heard. I was receiving cluster allergy shots, so I was here every week for several weeks and really got to know the staff. The overwhelming majority of the team was incredibly kind, empathetic, attentive, and professional. There is also one head nurse whose name is as exotic and fabulous as she is who deserves a special shoutout. We actually had a moment where I was upset about an interaction with another staff member and, admittedly, some of that frustration came out toward her. She respectfully put me in my place when I needed it, but also made it clear that she had my back. We talked, forgave, moved forward, and I appreciated her even more afterward. THAT is how you handle people. I do have to be honest about one negative experience because I believe reviews should include both the good and the bad. I had a very brief interaction with one staff member toward the end of my treatment that left me extremely uncomfortable. I was finishing an important phone call when I was called back for vitals, and from the beginning I felt rushed and met with visible frustration. When I acknowledged it and apologized for being on the phone, I felt completely dismissed afterward. What bothered me most was that I later tried to explain directly to this person that the interaction had genuinely hurt my feelings. I wasn't looking for an argument--I wanted to communicate how the experience affected me and hopefully leave things on a better note. Unfortunately, I felt brushed off again rather than heard. After weeks of experiencing so much empathy from everyone else, that interaction really stood out for the wrong reasons. One person, however, does NOT define this practice or erase the incredible care I received from Kayla and the rest of her team. In fact, I was actually getting sad toward the end of my cluster shots because I knew I wouldn't be seeing everyone as often! If you're looking for an allergy team that takes the time to answer questions, makes you feel comfortable, and genuinely cares about getting your allergies under control, I highly recommend Kayla and her team. Finally I was referred to an allergy Doctor it has been much needed. Somehow I began dealing with Eczema then hives followed and so since no one can figure out why I keep breaking out. My dermatologist has sent to me to an allergist. The office wait was not at all long 10 to 15 minute wait. Folks were coming in and out of this office quickly. My first initial appointment was to go over meds, discuss what has been troubling me. The doctor began to explain the many different test that will be preformed. Skin test in which, environmental test and so forth. All these appointments are almost a day apart and then I return for readings. read more

All the staff were professional in their approach, starting from the front desk to the assistant and the doctor. They dealt with patients professionally while maintaining a human, compassionate touch. My daughter was supposed to start her allergy shots here. First appointment we sat there for a couple of hours after checking in. I went up to the desk to see why it was taking so long. They told me to continue waiting, while looking a bit lost when I told them the name. Mind you while knowing they messed up, they weren't friendly, the lady was snappy and rude. Later the nurse apologized for "forgetting" about us. The front desk never checked us in!!! We changed to another allergy clinic and what a difference it made. We feel respected and cared for as patients should feel. They are there for some kind of care. I do not recommend AllergyDox mainly because the front desk women aren't companionate or just simply friendly, they are the opposite of all of that. read more

I arrived 9 minutes late to my appointment--well within the 10-minute grace period this office claims to offer. I was still turned away. When I asked why, I was eventually told it was because they had a meeting at 12. That information should've been communicated clearly, instead of using my arrival time as an excuse. To make matters worse, while I was trying to speak with staff, other patients started listening in. As I walked out, one even said, "Try not being late next time." No one from the office stepped in to maintain any level of professionalism or patient privacy. Extremely disappointing experience.
