I made an appointment for the next day as a new patient and explained that I'd been having a chronic cough and lung pain. When I got to the office I was informed that I wouldn't be able to see the doctor because I could have Covid, even though I told them I had taken a Covid negative test the day before. They said I'd need to bring a PCP test to the office in order to get treated, something I was never told on the phone. The woman at the reception said I didn't tell her my symptoms on the phone, which isn't true, I specifically said I was dealing with the cough and chest/lung pain and they let me the set the appointment anyway. I took time off of work to go to the appointment and was turned away at the door. It was really frustrating that they weren't upfront about their policy and that the receptionist didn't listen to me on the phone when I told her why I was coming in. read more

If I can give a zero I would. I made an appointment for ear pain, especially when swallowing. Repeated many times i do not have a cough or covid and receptionist gave me the appointment. When I got there she advised me the doctor would not be able to see me since I needed a covid negative test. I advised her the doctor saw me last time when I had just gotten over covid not even 3 days after. The nurse took me in and became upset stating she's going to get in trouble from the doctor for even allowing me in the room. I advised her I have lingering ear pain from covid and once again do not have covid. In the room, I heard the doctor become Upset at her and yell at her in knowing I can hear. She came in very upset staring I need a negative covid test since she sees elderly patients. I advised her so does every doctor and I wouldn't be so irresponsible to come in if I knew I had covid. Her tone or voice was very rude and I almost walked out multiple times and would have if my ear pain wasn't so bad. I was so disappointed and never in my life have experienced anything like this. I filed a complaint with my insurance company and changed my doctor immediately after this visit. read more

I called to make cash appt month ago and I gave the office all my information. They called me to remind me about the appt day before. I was given forms to fill out which has no section for female or male, but it has a section if you're gay, lesbian, unknown, not sure, homosexual..etc, I was really shocked. Anyway nurse took my weight, tall, high blood pressure, and came the front desk woman stopping the nurse because the doctor called her to tell her she can't see me as cash patient because of my age. I was really upset about the treatment of that doctor and the discrimination. She has no right treating me that way specially I'm paying cash. She should've come out and explain her rudeness and unethical behavior. She could've saw me that time and letting me know that she can't see me again and the reason for it. I have been seeing Dr. Vignarajan for about 4 years now and I am so grateful that I found her. She is always very positive, even when she has to tell you something you might not want to hear. She is very patient, listens to all my questions and answers them. She is never rushed but spends as much time with you as you need. The whole office is full of friendly, smiling faces. It's very easy to get an appointment. I've never had to wait for more than 1/2 hour-- usually it is only 10 to 15 minutes. The office staff will call as soon as they get results from tests. Sometimes Dr. Vignarajan will call herself-- almost unheard of in this day and age. If I really need to talk to her I can call the office and she will either talk to me at that time or call me back. All these things are the reasons I don't ever want to switch doctors. What a difference from assembly-line Kaiser type care! read more

I'm done with this office. I came back today after a year (I had been seeing my OB since I was pregnant). I came here on my daughter's first birthday for something minor. Ester (the receptionist) was really wonderful as usual. As I was sitting in the waiting room, Dr. V pops her head out and says "Priya, nice to see you, looks like you've gained weight". My jaw literally dropped. I clearly was not happy with her comment and replied with "What?" and she said "Your face looks much fuller... in a good way." ARE YOU SERIOUS? She is like the terrible Indian-mother-in-law that you do not want to have. I feel sorry for her daughter-in-law, if she has one. As a woman, and ESPECIALLY a female doctor, you do NOT make comments about weight to a woman who gave birth to a child a year ago. Dr. V, why don't you try to say something nice next time a woman walks into your office, like "Wow you look great." Or, better yet, nothing at all. (Please do not call me again and tell me about how my Yelp review is hurting your business. I have the right to share my opinions. I've been meaning to change my PCP to someone closer to me, and this gave me all the motivation I needed to do so.) They still do not take credit cards by the way. I had my appointment today with Dr. Vignarajan first time, and I have to say that she is an EXTREMELY knowledgable and caring doctor. I live in Glendale for 30 years and I am so regretting that for all these years I was constantly changing doctors and did not know about this wonderful doctor. My pleasurable experience with this office started with the receptionist, Ester, whose help was above and beyond of all of my expectations. After I got home, I waited till 6:30 so my son can be home from work so I can convince him to change his doctor and choose Dr. V. The only reason that I am spending my valuable time and writing this review so if there are people that, like me, for years, cannot find a doctor that knows what he/she is doing, will have a chance to meet this doctor. I love Doctor V and her office. She does not play God and is very down to earth. She tells you her logic and her knowledge is very good (after comparing several opinions). Her office staff is also great. They do not need me to go in for authorization, like some offices do as those want to make money from the visit. And they call me to let me know the lab results immediately, which saves me a lot of time and worry. I am very happy with Dr. V and her team, good job! read more

This doctor is cold-blooded, snappy, rude and moody. You have to be ready to fight when you go see her. If her patient needs hospitalization, they have to find another doctor to admit and treat them. If she finds out you got in a car accident, she will not see you regardless of how miserable your condition is. When I got into a car accident, she declined seeing me, saying there is nothing she can do for me and that I need to find another doctor that handles car accidents. Horrible treatment. The doctor is fine met with her once. I find her front staff rude. Maybe it's personality differences but I found she was very sharp with me. Also it did not have time to pick up lab orders and then only offer pick up not to send or fax to me. Another thing is they asked me to change groups. I am one of her new patients, but it was so easy to get my first appointment which usually is the biggest hindrance when you change doctors. Getting follow-up appointments is also very smooth, they are very accommodating. Dr Vignarajan always greets me with a smile and comes out to get me, she answers all my questions and provides additional explanation that comforts me. I have been taking my grandma to Nirupa for many years now. I really appreciate how clean the office is and that I never have to wait so long when I am with her. My grandma always says how she is very happy with Nirupa and that she is always so sweet and attentive. A very caring doctor and a very caring staff. I highly recommend her to everyone. Doctor has good knowledge of medical conditions. Last visit was an emergency and the doctor and her staff took very good care of me. Organized my visit to the hospital without calling ambulance ( to save my money). Instead called my close friend to take me to the hospital. While I was waiting for my friend, lying on the couch, doctor's assistant kept checking on me and kept giving me water to drink... holding my hands and helping me to calm down.
