I would give 10 stars if I could. Dr Gazarian saved me after a visit to Urgent Care in Montrose where they tried to kill me.
Physician Assistant S. Henabid-Sirak. Misdiagnoses me.
I went to Urgent Care Wednesday night complaining of a none productive bad/violent cough, fever, stuffy nose, pounding in my ears, and body aches.
Let me also say I'm a nurse, so I already checked my vitals, and I don't go to Urgent Care unless something serious is happening to me.
This PA come into my room, asked about my symptoms and said "I have the perfect medicine for you" before she even listened to my lungs. I had to beg for a chest x-ray which which ruled out pneumonia.
She came back and said I have allergies. I told her I have NEVER had allergies in my life. She said I must have developed them recently.
I again told her that I dont have allergies and I know my body, and I know something is wrong. She dismissed me again and said it might an Upper Respiratory Infection. She prescribed Benzonatate and an Albuterol Inhaler and sent me home.
Over the next 12 hours it gort worse and worse.while I used the medications she gave me. I could barely use the Inhailler cuz it made the coughing fits so much worse. I was up all night fighting to breath while doubled over in pain from the violent coughing.
I called the doc back at urgent care the next morning crying my eyes out and told her the medicine made me worse! She said to give it time to work. Offered to check my vitals if I come in. HELLO I'm a nurse, and had already done that. She said I'm over reacting to a cold and to just wait and give it more time.
I was so scared so I called my PCP Dr G and asked Mary at the front desk if I could please get in today. As always she said, no problem and gave me an ointment for a few hours from now. When I got there they took me right away based on the information I had giving them about my visit to Urgent care.
The nurse at the office was so kind while she took my vials and said, not to worry that they will help me get better.
With in 2 minutes Dr. GHAZARIAN came in and said if the medications are making it worse that's a sign of Croup. He listened to my cough and lungs, and to me to confirm his diagnosis.
He said Albuterol and Benzonatate SHOULD NEVER BE GIVEN TO A PERSON WITH CROUP.
My doctor prescribed an antibiotic z-pack and pregnazon steroids to treat Croup..
It's now the next day and I feel so much better already. I breathing better, the coughing is better, my fever is down and i could sleep last night for the first time in 4 days.
I'm so incredibly grateful to Dr G and his amazing staff. I would and do recomend this doctor to anyone and everyone who is tired of the doctors who don't care.
Thank you Dr Ghazarian (818-241-1223) saving me life.
I'll never go to Adventist Ugent Care in Montrose ever ever again!!!
