I have been to Dr. Pardave's office 4 or 5 times now and have spoken to a female staff member about 8 times over the phone and I've had NO problems at all. The woman who I spoke to wasn't necessarily warm but she was far from rude and always ended the conversation with a "thank you" and seemed very professional as it should be since it's a doctors office and you're not speaking to a friend.
REASONS I LOVE THIS OFFICE:
1) I have NEVER had such a comprehensive physical in my life. I was a new patient and Dr. Pardave literally checked every inch of my body, I mean literally, like down to my toes, looked up my nose, everything! And the reason I mentioned my nose because I finally have an explanation as to why I sometimes have a hard time breathing through my nose while exercising. It's because I have a narrow nasal passage and a deviated septum. To be fair I never knew I had a problem, so I never consulted a doctor about it since I just assumed my difficulties were normal. Turns out all my other doctors could have told me this if they would have checked my nose during a physical.
2) Dr. Pardave was extremely thorough and took his time asking me a million questions, I never felt rushed or pressured to hurry. I swear my physical lasted an hour maybe even longer!
3) I needed to get my annual paps smear and Dr. Pardave was extremely conscious of the fact that I might be hesitant to get an exam from him so he said I could get it from his wife, who is a PA abs works in the office or I could see an OBGYN. He left the decision up to me, whatever I felt comfortable with.
4) Dr. Pardave gave me great advice and researched a few things right there as we were speaking about my issue! I struggle with my weight and he sweetly gave me tips to loose weight since it was/is affecting my health and I say sweetly because you could tell he was trying hard to be as gentle as possible with the subject, which was something I wasn't expecting since most doctors don't care how things come off.
5) Dr. Pardave is extremely knowledgeable, but also wasn't afraid to say he wasn't sure. I value that tremendously because medicine isn't an exact science and Dr.'s can't know everything, but Dr. Pardave was willing to find the answer instead of lying to me.
6) My biggest and most important reason for loving this office is because Dr. Pardave was very down to earth and humble. He never talked down to me, never talked over me, and I even have friends who are doctors and they don't give me the same amount of respect as Dr. Pardave does.
7) Katherine Pardave is also amazing and a great asset to his office. I went in today for what I thought was a cold or flu and it turned out to be a sinus infection. While meeting with K. Pardave I never felt rushed and she, just like her husband, listened to what I had to say.
If you're looking for a doctors office that is professional, knowledgeable, and treats you with respect I suggest you give this office a shot.
I don't know what some of the bad reviews are about, I know one sounded like a "chronic pain" pill popper and some of the others sounded like personality conflicts, the fact that you don't LIKE someone's personality, especially the front office staff, wouldn't warrant me switching doctors.
I do know one thing Dr. Pardave will be my doctor for many years to come! read more
