In addition to a new PCP, I needed pre-op work done for an upcoming back surgery (number 2) AND had been dealing with a pretty bad UTI (for months) due to reoccurring kidney stones (which later I went into sepsis from). He just yelled at me. I am not over exaggerating. If you would like to be spoken to in raised tones, yelled at and belittled, than this is the Doctor for you.

I'm looking forward to scheduling a wellness visit this upcoming year. The only gripe I have, and this has nothing to do with his office, is that the parking for this building absolutely sucks. The people that run the parking garage are absolutely rude. You're better off parking across the street or finding street parking. Don't bother with leaving your car there. They are always able to give advice over the phone, and can usually do same-day office visits if required, my entire family goes to Mark and his office partner, Dr Monica Sarang. The front desk is all business with a dash of personality. Made my appointment for 9:00am. Was treated to a warm welcome, being a first time patient,paperwork was light. I don't want to splash the names of D and N around for confidentiality reasons. When they completed their assessments, they left to deliver to Dr.Wong. I had an unwarranted belief that I would be waiting a half hour to be seen. I think in less than 10 min I had an introduction. Dr. Wong graciously acknowledged me, and with true caring, proceeded to check vitals, and asked pertinent questions. She was kind, and was motherly in a wonderful way. I felt well cared for. When it was time to depart, the whole staff made an effort to say goodbye. I needed a prescription, so off I went to CVS. To my amazement the order was in, I just had to wait for the pharmacist. Dr Ayad was my wife's primary care physician. During the time she was in his care, she was…read morefrequently anemic but Dr Ayad seemed unconcerned, dismissing my questions about the cause of her problem. On one occasion, we went to the emergency room where they did what neither Dr Ayad or her oncologist hadn't been able to do, they diagnosed her with lymphoma. I suggested she find a new doctor but she refused. She was given the standard treatment for lymphoma and finished the course. At no point during this time was she giving any imaging studies to see if she was improving. A week or so later, I noticed that she seemed confused and not in control of her actions. I didn't know what was happening to her, so I called her oncologist to see if she could see a neurologist. I was told only the primary care physician could make the referral. So I called his office and asked for a referral. I was told she couldn't get a referral until she came in for a office visit. I asked for an appointment as soon as possible because by now she could hardly walk. I was given an appointment for the Friday of the following week. As the situation devolved, we had to call the ambulance to pick her up from the floor because she couldn't support her own weight. The third time they came to the house, I told them to take her to the emergency room. Once again they did what Dr Ayad could not, diagnose the problem. They did a scan and discovered numerous tumors in her brain. The only thing left to do was make her comfortable until the end. I believe Dr Ayad is either incompetent or disinterested in patient care. I am sure he failed my wife in many ways and probably hastened her death by his lack of concern. I would advise you to find a different doctor.

My initial visit with Dr. Marsh was via Disney Pics/TV for an employment physical. This referral did not require me to select him as my primary care physician but like most in my same situation, it was an option I welcomed. A short time later, my husband joined me and we've never looked back. In fact, we've left CA a few times over the years, (due to career in college football) we remained in Dr. Marsh's care; it was well worth the expense & time involved in doing so. While we're certain there are many doctors in southern California that provide excellent medical care, we knew of no one that provided their patients the ultimate healthcare benefit: how best to manage your own recurring medical issues. My husband and I found that after confirming a common and/or chronic diagnosis, were not only provided the best treatment but given ways to avoid or handle recurrences. With Dr. Marsh, we both feel confident in our ability to be active participants in managing our healthcare. The education/information he offered was new to us & very empowering ... we are eternally grateful!! In closing, we must also include our appreciation for others on Dr. Marsh's team at Premiere Medical Center. We've been on the receiving end of much kindness, compassion & support, yet always professional in their individual responsibilities. It has been over a year since I have been to this office and amazingly enough the front office staff has hit a new low. It seems they are trained to shuffle you off to someone other than your doctor. If you push him for care (testing) the curated nice tone of voice and nice guy mask drops and he has no problem asserting his MD power over you to make you feel small and disarm you to feel powerless. Anyone that gives him a good review must not have chronic illness and goes for routine annual exams or a flu. You can tell he is just an MD employee for Facey. Caring more for protocols and quotas than individual plan of care. Facey the medical group is priority over the patient care. Office staff was fair. He's definitely your man. But, if you're looking for a doctor to be a human being, not a sadist, not a robot, but someone who listens and cares? Go find anyone else with a pulse.
