My name is Josefina D. Gervacio. Dr. Grace Wong is my primary care physician. Yesterday, August 28, 2025, I was not feeling well and seems feverish. I tested myself and the result showed that I was positive of Covid 19. I went home from work early. I called the office of Dr. Wong at around 4:00 p.m. and the person I was talking with told me that she will immediately inform Dr. Wong to request for a prescription. I was feeling really bad, so I asked the person in the office to please ensure that I get the prescription soonest. She even told me " There is no reason that you will not get the prescription today". After an hour and a half and several calls I made to the pharmacy, there was no prescription sent from the doctor's office. The office of Dr. Gace Wong was already closed. I had to find another doctor who can attend to my need. Luckily, I was able to get the prescription from one of the doctors I called. read more

This doctor and the office refused to prescribe me my high blood pressure medication unless I come in. I currently don't have health insurance anymore and I lost my job last year. It's been a nightmare dealing with this doctor and office. I do not recommend!!! read more

I had a test done and instead of Dr. Wong calling me to inform my results directly, she had her front desk employee inform me of my test result. This is against HIPAA and California law to do this. When the front desk called me informing me my results, I had questions that could not be answered by her. She gave me a one word response to my tested result. Instead of having Dr. Wong tell me properly, she gave her front desk with no knowledge about my results to tell me and recommend I go see another doctor. Malpractice. I may escalate this because this is unlawful. I'm disappointed about my experience.. This isn't the only issue either. In another occasion I had blood work done and the front desk (of course again) tells me my blood work results vaguely and gave me medical advice when legally the doctor is supposed to provide me the results. I've never experienced this kind of malpractice before. AND ANOTHER issue. On my very first appointment I had requested this blood work and was confirmed on that day that I will get the blood work done. Instead I visited leaving work early to get it done. You know what the front desk girl said? She said "oh no I can't do that today but I can do it any other day" wtf if she couldnt do it THAT day then why was I scheduled that day of the week? I did not get an apology and I had to take more time off from work wasting my PTO for lack of communication. The front desk lady simply looked at me, said "I can't do the bloodwork today but any other day is fine" with a blank look and made another appointment. And as I mentioned, I wasted my time and had to take time off for that appointment. Very deceitful and no care from that lady. I've read past reviews and for years Dr. Wong does not reprimand her employees because I'm not the first person to have these issues especially with the front desk every visit and every phone call. I'm so pissed. They seriously need a new team of genuine caring people who won't violate HIPAA and California law. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Grace Wong for two years. Dr. Wong is a very knowledgeable, Internal Medicine Physician who always takes the time to listen to my questions and always answers every question in detail. She is an amazing and incredible Internal Medicine Specialist. I've seen a lot of Internal Medicine Physicians in my almost 80 years of life and she is without a doubt the BEST and most amazing Internal Medicine Specialist I have ever seen. She is extremely knowledgeable, very compassionate and extremely educated. I always leave my appointment knowing she is looking for the best and optimal treatments for me. Do yourself a favor and call Dr. Grace Wong's office and set up an appointment. You will be more than satisfied with her warm and caring personality coupled with her extended medical education. read more

One star for Dr. Grace Wong being a great doctor. However, her staff is absolutely unprofessional. Natalie is the office girl who has zero manners and is incompetent of providing simple tasks. Her attitude is short, condescending, and rude. The last call, she was eating on the phone while attempting to give me a phone number for a referral, I didn't ask for. First visit with Dr. Wong, and immediately during the scheduling of my appointment, I am getting attitude from Natalie about my insurance. "DOES YOUR CARD SAY GRACE WONG?" After my appointment, I was to receive an antibiotic and a referral. I received 2 referrals but not for what was needed, as I requested 8 times a referral for a dermatologist. I called my insurance company, and they called them to find out where the referral is. They said they would look into it. I will be looking for another doctor. Dr. Grace Wong is my primary doctor... She is nice...BUT .... I called Dr. Wong's office on 11/11/2025, left a message for her to call me with Natalie. No call back. I called again and left another message on 11/12/2025 with Natalie. NO CALL BACK I called again 11/18/2025 and Patricia took the message and I reminded her that I had left 2 previous messages, with NO response and Patricia's attitude was rude and condescending. My call was regarding getting HOME HEALTH ASSISTANCE which was NOT IMPORTANT to Natalie & Patricia and when I mentioned it to Dr. Wong in person in January 2026, Dr. Wong seemed irritated, as I had accomplished, as my OWN ADVOCATE what should have been the done by the Doctors' office. Sadly this seems to be normal treatment of patients in 2026! I was told by Dr. Wong that due to my disability, I would need to call her office in six months to continue the HOME HEALTH CARE! The rules & regulations, should be shared with each patient...but it is NOT...the office ladies hoping to frustrate the patient...so they find another doctor! I am hoping that Dr, Grace Wong reads my comment...and has a talk her Natalie & Patricia...and they both need lessons and show some caring & kindness. Not having a primary doctor return a call was UNHEARD of....2026 patients are treated with NO RESPECT or KINDNESS. If it were not for patients.... Natalie & Patricia would not have a job! Everyone these days want you to book your appointment online. What is the point of having a website to book, when they NEVER call you back nor send you confirmation of an appointment. I should have known better. I have experience with Dr. Wong with my father, and I give her expertise 5 stars. But if you cannot get past the front office to see her, what is the point. I've only been here once and felt Dr. Grace Wong was very nice and didn't rush the appointment. She also had an intern or someone shadowing her who was also very nice. Unfortunately, the office is hard to reach by phone and the front desk staff hasn't been very friendly. The phones often lead to an "emergency voicemail" and you're left wondering if you should leave a message or if you're supposed to keep calling until someone answers. I recently left a voicemail regarding an upcoming appointment but I'm not sure if anyone has received it since an automated service is still calling to confirm the appointment. It also took awhile for my work orders to come in for a specialists. Nothing is posted online, so you need to wait until it's mailed. It took over a month to receive then I lost them during a move. I requested copies a few months ago and have yet to receive them. I would love to continue to see this Dr. but it shouldn't be this hard. read more

I'm not sure what the doctors office is like, but I called to just find out if they take HMO and not just PPO and she gave me soo much attitude. A simple yes or no would have been good. She was like which doctor and I said whatever doctor takes HMO.. she went kinda loco on me. First, I believe I am qualified to voice my opinion. Former Medic and Dental Tech Let's get to it. Making an appointment was effortless. The front desk is all business with a dash of personality. Made my appointment for 9:00am. Was treated to a warm welcome, being a first time patient,paperwork was light. Within 5 min, off I was to step one of physical. They had a intern student, and a medical assistant tending to me. Both were bright, attentive, and thoughtful. I don't want to splash the names of D and N around for confidentiality reasons. When they completed their assessments, they left to deliver to Dr.Wong. I had an unwarranted belief that I would be waiting a half hour to be seen. I think in less than 10 min I had an introduction. Dr. Wong graciously acknowledged me, and with true caring, proceeded to check vitals, and asked pertinent questions. She was kind, and was motherly in a wonderful way. I felt well cared for. When it was time to depart, the whole staff made an effort to say goodbye. I needed a prescription, so off I went to CVS. To my amazement the order was in, I just had to wait for the pharmacist. I don't even know where to start, I have so many great and wonderful things to say about Dr. Grace Wong! I am so blessed to be able to call her my Doctor, she has been so amazing since the very first day I started going there, she cares and wants to help her patients with ever they happen to be going through, I couldn't of asked for anyone better than her! Even with all of this Covid stuff going on, she went up and beyond to help me with a back injury I was suffering from, and now I am happy to say I was able to get a procedure on my back from an amazing surgeon and I can live life pain free, and this is just one of few things Dr Wong was able to help me with. The absolute WORST staff in the HISTORY of MEDICINE.. If something is actually wrong with you, the Doctor makes the staff inform you about it. They are unable to answer ANY follow-up questions or anything. WTH ?!?!?!? They have made me wait almost 3 months for a referral to a specialist. I have asked them 7 times for it, since June. For something SERIOUS... [crickets] WTH?!?!? They sent my prescriptions to the WRONG pharmacy, because they never BOTHERED to ask me where it should go. WTH?!?!? The other 1-star reviews basically state the TRUTH as well. These people are in the WRONG business... If you DARE happen to criticize her, expect to be hung up on. The gatekeepers mean business here. She was a no-show at my last appointment and according to Burbank Imaging Center refuses to send electronic orders, unlike the rest of the doctors in the area. Also, her office's phone line is sent up to go directly to voicemail so you can never get anyone on the phone. The one time I saw her in person she seemed nice but when it's your health, I can't in good conscience recommend a doctor's office with such a low-level of professionalism. read more

Her office isn't open regular hours. She doesn't do same day appointments. Calls regularly go to voice mail. On my first appointment she took my history and seemed to make a lot of notes. After a couple appointments she didn't really pay attention to me. Just blowing me off with "Diet and exercise & you'll be fine." instead of taking my concerns seriously. Her office doesn't return my calls. After 2 months of not being about to get a hold of anyone in her office I am switching doctors. It's surprising to me a doctor could be so neglectful of their patient in medical need. read more

My mother has been seeing Dr Grace Wong for about 2 years now. She is an amazing Doctor and I highly recommend her! She is very patient with my mother, who is hard of hearing and takes time with her during our visits to the office. We never wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room to be seen and the receptionist is always very kind and helpful. She is compassionate towards her patients as I have referred a few of my friends and colleagues to her practice over the years since I've known her. She has also always been available by phone when I needed consultation about my medical conditions and medication issues. Worst office and staff EVER!!! The office receptionist was rude, made me wait for over 35mins with only myself in the waiting room (guess that's what happens when there is only one doctor) then Dr. Wong doesn't have the proper equipment for a women's check up- tries then fails several times- then said she had everything she needed. It was my yearly check-up. Then i go to reception to pay and lady says my insurance covered it. Great- leave then receive a letter in the mail saying I needed to come back b/c the Dr. wasn't able to get what she needed!! Seriously. Then another letter came saying that I owed $30 (3mths later) for my visit! I mean UNREAL!!! Gave me medicine for my stomach that made my knees swell for over 2-weeks. Could barely walk. Came to see her again and she said "Oh, your knees are all swollen". Called her yesterday with another issue. Her receptionist who is always very short said she would have her call me. She never called. I left a message on the machine to let them know. No call today either. Dr. Wong is moving to a different provider and indicated this by US Mail followed up by multiple phone calls to see if I would move plans to continue to have her as my GP. Just came home from my 2nd appointment with Dr. Wong, she was very attentive to me and sat and spent time listening to me for almost 15 before my exam. I was worried about the upcoming procedure and she talked with me until I was at ease ! What Dr ever just sits there and listens to their patients ! I went to Dr. Wong for a general check-up, and with the hope of doing something for my chronic migraines. Before the doctor came in, her student asked if she could take down my medical history. I talked to her about my general health and migraines for about 20 minutes. Soon after that, I heard the student updating Dr. Wong about me in the hall for a total of about 20 seconds. Dr. Wong came in and asked a series of similar questions, and said we would do bloodwork, then discuss the next steps for helping my headaches after the results came in. She then left so abruptly, I thought she was grabbing paperwork and coming back in. Nope. Her student walked me out and told me to make a follow-up appointment in 3 months. I said I didn't want to wait 3 months to discuss my test results. The woman behind the desk then chimed in, saying Dr. Wong would call me when the results came in. I had the bloodwork done that day. One week later, I still had not heard from the doctor. I called and left a message with the front desk, asking that Dr. Wong please call me back. A few days later, still no response. I called again, and the woman at the front desk said, "The doctor is very busy. She'll get to you on a first-come, first serve basis." I said that perhaps Dr. Wong shouldn't be taking new patients if she's that busy. I ended up having to get my own test results from Quest, and I took them to another doctor to interpret. (This other doctor was extremely helpful. Also, she said that testing my hormone levels -- which Dr. Wong did -- wouldn't tell us anything since I'm on the pill.) Over two weeks later, I received a letter in the mail from Dr. Wong saying my cholesterol is high. No phone call. No discussion of what could be done for my migraines. This whole ordeal was an extremely frustrating waste of time. If you value your health or sanity, don't go to Dr. Wong. read more

I went and saw Dr Wong after changing from my last pcp and I must say I Loved her office! The office is very nice and small, not over crowded...it is very peaceful and quiet (not like most over crowded Dr offices I've been too) Dr Wong spent a good amount of time with me and she was very soft spoken and took the time to listen to my concerns regarding my health.
