I will not get into my whole story. I will say that I was in need of a new primary care physician because mine was moving out of state. I was able to get an appointment with ease and the staff, for me, was really nice to work with. In addition to a new PCP, I needed pre-op work done for an upcoming back surgery (number 2) AND had been dealing with a pretty bad UTI (for months) due to reoccurring kidney stones (which later I went into sepsis from). He just yelled at me. I am not over exaggerating. If you would like to be spoken to in raised tones, yelled at and belittled, than this is the Doctor for you. read more

..Very humiliating experience, so much so, that one patient in the waiting area was visibly shocked and couldn't take his eyes off of him. His secretaries were there and seemed embarrassed by his display. I'm also a long standing patient, if you can believe that. I'll be looking for someone else. Watch out that he doesn't blow up at you over simple questions and in front of others. read more

quite a shockingly bad experience. he screamed my medical information throughout the entire office for everyone to hear, did not listen to a word I said, told me to go get a certain test and when I came back with that test positive!! he said well that's dumb I wouldn't even our stock in that test....avoid at absolutely ALL COSTS read more

I used to be a patient there. I chose this doctor because he had PhD (in biology or microbiology). I thought that his knowledge of pharmacology would be superior. I was so wrong! Dr. Feit was always treating my visit like a fun (for him) social visit. He took his time talking about anything except the reason I was there. When I would start asking questions about my health, he would suddenly become very busy to answer and hurry out to the next patient. One time I came to the office with a wax built-up in one ear. The staff told me that the doctor did not want to buy an instrument to extract wax and they had to do it manually which took a long time and turned out to be physically difficult for the staff. I was told to start cleaning my ears with an undiluted solution of Hydrogen Peroxide left for 5 minutes in each ear, once a week from now on. I found out too late that this was very dangerous and damages hearing. After doing Hydrogen for months, I had to get hearing aids at a much younger age than people get them. There is a compelling information on medical websites about the non-reversible destruction it does to a hearing. At the very least the solution has to be diluted by 50% and not left in ears for any amount of time (quickly in-and-out). And even that way was not advisable according to medical and audiology community. The audiologist was so surprised that an american doctor would do something like that, he even asked if the doctor was in another country. read more

Since I am an owner of medical companies, I have always paid close attention to how patients are treated not only within my clients offices, but other medical offices. I was extremely impressed with the entire staff at ERIC FEIT, MD office from the front office professionals who greeted me with a smile, Melissa and Helena, to Dr. Feit who was especially kind, informative and sensitive to my fear of medical procedures since I had survived a tragic accident that left me with severe facial disfigurement and without a left eye. My large sunglasses usually hide these issues, but I was comfortable to take these sunglasses off since I knew I wouldn't be ridiculed and judged by those who haven't walked my path and understand the importance of caring for those less fortunate. I give Melissa, Helena and Dr. Feit an A+ for treating me with kindness and knowing I was with highly trained healthcare professionals who care and give 150% to their patients. When my old doctor retired he gave me 3 new Dr's to interview to become my new GP. Dr. Eric Feit was the first. After meeting with him early one morning.........I canceled the other 2 simply because I liked him so much. Since that time he has been involved with several of my operations and yearly physicals. I have recently received Medi-Cal and this Doctor is in their guide as accepting LA Care. California being what it is and usually a cluster, I called to verify this rather than fill out the paperwork only to have it changed by the State later. Sure enough, they have Opted out of the program and no longer accept any form of Medi-Cal Health plan. DARN!!!! The reviews indicated to me THIS is the kind of Doctor I am looking for! The lady I talked to, VERY NICE and I understand their point on it all. I will not break this Doctors great streak in high ratings because I am certain he is everything people claim so 5 for a Doctor I cannot use or see and 1 for Medi-Cal. read more

I like Dr Feit. But, I dont think he knows how Helene treats people. She is rude. I was in the hospital and my daughter called his office so he would know and would come check on me, because of an insurance mix up on their end, Helene never told Dr Feit I was there so he never saw me. She acts like she dictates what goes on there and is in charge, it's not her practice. I wish Feit would have someone there instead who is caring and sweet. He is a more social dr then a let's get down to buisness dr, if you like that. He will talk to you all day about traveling or whatever but when you have an issue it's a 2 sec convo and that's it. I would look in to other drs with a better and more friendlier staff. read more

If I could give him 10 stars I would. As for the Yelp disclaimer "don't write a review if you get a freebie or are otherwise blah blah blah" ...everyone who visits Dr. Feit's office gets a freebie, that has long been forgotten in our digital, instant gratification world...as a patient you are given; a great bedside manner, respect, awesome customer service, and most importantly, a doctor who actually cares and wants to make a difference. Plus he's brilliant, and if he doesn't know something, he'll look it up then and there for you. He spends time with you, actually figures it out, gives you his full attention and explains things in layman's terms without being pompus or condescending. I've never waited long in waiting room OR on the patient room (you know the trick, call your name and get you in the room and then have you wait forever...ugh..well not here.) I've been a patient for 1 1/2 years now and I won't be going anywhere! He's great, I refer friends and family because I know they'll get the personal attention you don't get elsewhere. Plus Helene (office manager, assistant, nurse) is fabulous. She's gotten me in the same day or next day, they have even stayed after hours, when I've been in a tizzy about some "emergency" or another. read more

I have been looking for a good Internist for a long time and I am very happy to have found Dr. Feit. I had my first visit with him yesterday for an annual physical. He is very attentive, sharp, knowledgeable and takes his time with the patient. This is not the kind of office that you see the medical assistant, nurse, Physician's Assistant, etc. and the doctor just pops in for a minute at the end. He does everything himself. He even takes the blood pressure himself. I don't think there are many practices left these days that the doctor spend so much time with the patient. I am a physician myself and I highly recommend Dr. Feit. read more

The Dr. is rude and obnoxious. In my case he allowed me to leave the office with extremely high blood pressure. When he knew that I was just sent to the hospital by ambulance for high blood pressure. I think that is unethical and irresponsible. read more

Dr. Eric Feit misdiagnosed me almost 10 years ago and nearly killed me. He misdiagnosed my Type 1 diabetes, an autoimmune disease. He was arrogant and his staff was horrible. I would run as fast as I could before considering ever going to this heartless arrogant and inept doctor. He never apologized for fear of me suing him. He should not be practicing medicine.
