I just established care with Dr Domantay and I'm so glad I did!! Her staff was super friendly and helped me set up an appointment. When I arrived, they were took my information and I was seen almost immediately. The office was super clean and they took my vitals and then I saw the doctor. She was very patient, explained to me what could be happening and asked about my comfort level often. Their systems were all online which made care really easy. They take forever to get back to you, and I have been waiting for a referral to a specialist for more than a week. I finally went out of network and paid out of pocket. I had just moved and had been told I might have cancer by a different doctor and all this was happening right before COVID peaked. I was overwhelmed, scared and didn't know what step to take next. I ended up crying out of relief and because I didn't feel like I was alone in dealing with this and she actually hugged me. First, let me start off by saying to please ignore any negative reviews regarding a certain staff member. That issue is now a non-issue. What can I say? I love Dr. D and her entire staff!!! I've been a patient of hers for about 10 years and I couldn't imagine going to anyone else. When I first started seeing her, it was just me. Now, it's me, my husband and three kids. It also helps that she has some occupational therapy experience because she also treats my son who has special needs and he adores her. All my kids do! Dr. D is very attentive, very warm, and a great listener. She is compassionate and caring. She also isn't quick to prescribe you a med and send you on your way. She tries to find the healthiest and safest way to go about getting you on a healthier path. My kids get excited when we go to her office. Who wouldn't want a doctor like that? I've been to many doctors before and most have them didn't listen to my needs or concerns. They were cold and almost robotic. Now, let me tell you about her staff. They always make us feel comfortable. From the time we walk through the door, we're greeted with smiles. Unlike other places, I'm never given the "run around" when there is any kind of issue. Cecilia is great! She handles the front very well. Everything is handled professionally, quickly, and efficiently. Dr. D's nurse, Queenie, is very kind and gentle. She also always makes us feel very comfortable as well. The wait tme isn't bad either. I can go on and on! I don't live nearby, by any means. But, after getting less than par service from other practices, I realized that distance does not matter when it comes to finding the right doctor. I became a patient of Dr. Domantay in March, based on the recommendation of patient that has been seeing her for years. And, the minute that I walked through the door, I felt at ease. I didn't get the cattle call feel of a huge waiting area, taking a number, or waiting ages for my name. The waiting area is clean (the entire building is new), the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and there was little to no wait upon my arrival. I came to see her for a follow up a couple of weeks later. Actually, I came 30-mins early because my better half had an appointment with Dr. Alinsod (who's just as amazing). Nonetheless, the staff was cordial and fit me right in. Actually, they were so efficient, I was in and out of there before my scheduled appointment. However, what impressed me most was how Dr. Domantay remembered nearly everything we spoke about the visit prior. Yeah. Wow!! I didn't have to refresh her memory or anything, like other doctors I've visited prior. Hmm... let me see, what else is there. Oh, yes. Phone calls are returned the same day, by the doctor herself or her sweet nurse, Reina. And, there is always parking!! read more

This would be my first time seeing Dr.Domantay. One thing I noticed right off the bat was how attentive she was, and personable she is. Technically she isn't my primary Doctor because my PCP Dr.Helen Pao had to take an extended leave to take care of her son. I might have to reconsider changing my PCP to Dr.Domantay, because she is one who actually listens instead of writing off a prescription to me. One thing, however I cannot stand with this office is their Nurse Donna who takes your vital signs, she can be nice, but when I decided to ask her "Does my vaccination always have to be on the opposite arm(I am right handed)? After she asked whether or not I am right or left handed?" She sounded a bit irritated after I asked her... But she told me "Well! You don't want your right arm to be sore right?" To add on, despite the pretty decent health care, I feel like this office is here to make money off of me... One time I "missed" my appointment, and they said I had to pay $25. I called them back saying, "By the time I left a message saying I could not make it, the office was on lunch break, and they didn't receive my call and call me back until it was already past my appointment time". So anyways, when I called them, they transferred me to their person who is in charge of billing... And I explained.. as above that there was a mistake and "By the time I left a message saying I could not make it, the office was on lunch break, and they didn't receive my call and call me back until it was already past my appointment time". Thankfully, and generously they refunded my money back to my card. 7/31/15 Today, went in to get some paperwork signed by Dr.D since I was going to be in a CNA program at my College while I wait for the Nursing Dept. to call me to let me know if I was accepted to take the TEAS to get into their Nursing Program. Once I was done, I stepped out into the waiting room, and was told by Gloria the receptionist that there is a $15 form fee??? I mean who charges $15 for the Dr. to put her signature to my paperwork? Again, I like the health care here, but not the whole "let's make money out of this business" deal. I'd recommmend this Dr. if you have money... I don't have much, but again, it's not like I am seeing the Dr. everyday. So I suppose an expense here and there won't hurt my sad wallet. read more

We have been going to Dr. Domantay for years and have only had positive experiences with her as well as her staff. She is very patient and more importantly, knowledgeable. You might think, of course she's supposed to be knowledgable, she is a doctor, but I have been to several doctors who don't necessarily have what it takes to bring their "A-Game" like she does. It doesn't matter what condition you ask her about, she knows and she will talk with you, explain thoroughly and examine you until she is able to help you and heal you. She takes time with her patients and that may be why you may have to wait a bit, so if you are looking for a drive through type of experience, this place is not for you. For the people who gave her 1 star, they should go elsewhere and have their head examined. End of story. Cecilia, her scheduler is also wonderful, kind and efficient. You can leave a message if they're busy and they will call you back, that's for the complainers on here who claim they have not been assisted. We have been coming here for close to 10 years and are yet to encounter ANY of the negative things mentioned by some of the reviewers. So, if you want quality treatment by someone who cares and doesn't just recommend meds to send you packing like many physicians do these days, then you will have found your doctor for life like we did. read more

I've been coming to Dr. Domantay's practice for six years now and I am always greeted with the same warm welcomes I've experienced since my first visits. Everyone knows my name and I'm greeted with the perfect mix of friendliness and professionalism. I've been able to make an appointment with ease every time I need and they use the 'Follow My Health' app which is helpful to use when checking my appointments, health stats, and to receive messages from the doctor. Dr. Domantay herself is patient, very knowledgeable, and really works with me to find solutions to my health concerns. I'm really glad I started coming to see her and proud to call her my doctor. I've been a patient of Dr. D for over 10 years. Once the braces came off and acne came in, her office has taken care of me along with my family. Her staff always gets back to me. If I ever need to make an appointment the same day due to something serious like a flu or eye pain, they always make room for me to come in. I recommend using this new health app so you can see your whole medical chart online. You can also message Dr. D and her nurse. I know people complained about not seeing results, but they get uploaded immediately onto your profile. I believe it's called follow my health. There is street parking, but come early to hunt for some. If you're unlucky, there's a parking structure where you have to pay. No more validation. Hope you find a supportive doctor! I have been going to Dr Domantay for six years now and I absolutely ADORE her! She makes sure she takes the time to explain everything to me in terms I can easily understand, and makes me feel at ease with whatever is going on. I really like that she doesn't force me to go directly to hard core medications if they aren't necessary like other doctors sometimes do (i.e. when they prescribe antibiotics for everything!!). She talks me through the steps we will take...like our plan of attack...slowly escalating as needed. I like knowing what to expect. She's an amazing diagnostician. And she really LISTENS to my concerns. You can tell she really cares about her patients. As far as her staff goes, they have always been sweethearts to me. Yes, this is sometimes a busy office so you might have to leave a voicemail. However, I always get a call back within 24 hours at the most, but usually within an hour or two for the front desk. A word of warning: for physical exams (lady exams and kid exams, too), they are longer appointments so they only do so many per day. Average booking time is about a month out. So don't wait until the last minute. If you goof, the staff does their absolute best to work with you though! Parking in the area can be a challenge, so give yourself extra time. There is a pay lot on site, if you prefer. I think it is a dollar every 15 minutes with an $8 max. I like to try to find free street parking though, so I give myself an extra 15-20 minutes. When I arrive, I'm always greeted with a friendly smile. After a short time of going there they remembered my name without prompting. It felt like a family environment. The office is clean and modern. And they always have fun decorations for holidays and seasons. Overall, I just really feel taken care of at Dr Domantay's office. Which is why I'm heartbroken that I can't bring this entire establishment with me to Florida when I move next month! =( In all seriousness, I HIGHLY recommend her. read more

It's too easy to complain, so I will try to be constructive: If you don't want to be on call, get an old-fashioned answering service that can take your patients' messages when your office is closed. Patients are dealing with serious health issues and scares (in this case, a potentially life-threatening problem that led to more diagnostic testing) and don't want to be scolded at a vulnerable moment if they call past the limited office hours. Here's what one should hear, at minimum: "I understand your concern. I will put a word into my office to expect your call and we will do our best to fit you in, hopefully today." You're a physician. Would NOT recommend this office. First of all staff is not Welcoming and it is so hard to get a hold of their office. They don't care about the patients and just want to make sure that they'll be getting more MONEY from you. All I got from this office was a HEADACHE and NO HELP all for $270 for me and my husband's visit. Dr. Domantay is Nice BUT I'm not satisfied with our first visit with her, she didn't even do Physical Exam (check your eyes, ears, throat, lymph nodes, abdomen, peripheral pulses) No pelvic exam as well. All she did was talk and even told me that there's other patients waiting and just checked in, Which for me is Rude, because you're not suppose to say that especially to a NEW PATIENT, bec i'm a patient too that's why we're there. I work in a doctor's office too but our Doctor makes sure that she'll be able to answer and to check everything with patient in short thorough check and very caring and understanding to all our patients. Another thing is her Medical Assistant gave us a bit of an ATTITUDE when my husband asked her if he can be seen first due to he has another appt to go to, She gave us that look and asked Appointment? And just answered OK. Not smiling and not friendly at all. I'm a Medical assistant as well but I never treated our patients the way she does. Definitely BAD CUSTOMER service. Not pleased with Dr. Domantay and her office. I recently moved out of state and needed a refill on my bc prescription. I called the nearest cvs and they told me I had no refills available so they faxed Dr. D for approval for more refills. This was the same day I needed the prescription (I would've called earlier if I knew I didn't have more refills). In the beginning of the year I went through the whole process to do a well woman's exam and everything and I had only gone through 6 months of bc...any doctor I've ever had before this has prescribed a year's worth of refills but for some reason this doctor doesn't which makes things extremely difficult when trying to get a refill. I hadn't heard from anyone the next day so I called cvs again and they said they still hadn't heard anything from the doctor so I decided I would give the doctors office a call to see if there were any issues. Left a voicemail and then received a call back from the doctors assistant later that day. She said they weren't going to fill the prescription because I was out of state and I had missed one day of the bc (which I talked to the pharmacist about and it's not a big deal at all...). They told me I should just go to Planned Parenthood and they can help me out. I was SO upset that this doctor had her assistant tell me this in addition to telling me that if I would've called a week earlier that they would've filled it!!!!!! But because I missed the one day of bc (once again with the pharmacist telling me that's fine) they won't fill my prescription. Sorry I was honest about moving out of state? If I lied and said I was just visiting family out of state, would that change things? Seriously so frustrating. Sounds a lot like they clearly don't care about the actual patient and just want to make sure that they'll be getting more money from you at some point. read more

Dr. Domantay is one of the best doctors I've ever had. She is honest and professional but at the same time very friendly and approachable. I felt comfortable with her right away and was happy to walk away from my appointment feeling I'd received good, knowledgeable care. When I read some of the bad reviews here, I was wary of the issue with her nurse, but one review said the nurse had been replaced, so I decided to give Dr. Domantay a shot. I was not disappointed. Her nurse now is really sweet and helpful and I always feel that both the doctor and her nurse really care about me as a whole person. In addition to regular office visits, Dr. Domantay also performs Well Woman exams (PAP smears and generally "down there" lady health). She was both gentle and thorough, answered all of my questions, and made sure I had all the information I needed, as she always does. I asked for a couple extra tests that weren't part of the panel that came with the exam (just to be safe) and she made sure to tell me when anything was additional or would be a separate charge. She made recommendations and helped me make informed decisions about my own care so that I felt I was ultimately in control but could trust her advice. I have recommended Dr. Domantay many times and will continue to do so. She is simply fantastic. read more

Her staff however are rude, impatient, ineffective and generally an enormous hassle who act like everything they do for you is a personal favor. I waited on physical results for 2-4 weeks before being given the incredible answer of "you're fine" over the phone. Let me repeat that - full physical, blood work, etc. - waited nearly a month to have an assistant tell me "you're fine" over the phone. I'm not sure that is the response I want from a Doctors office, maybe you feel differently. read more

I have been going to Dr. Domantay for years now. She is an amazing doctor, and spends the time with her patients. HOWEVER what I am completely over is the fact that her office staff - is non responsive particularly her nurse. Each time I get lab work done, I never get a call back of the results. Even if the results are good and there aren't problems I'd still like to know! Supposedly they send an email, which I have never received. I have decided after 8 years of going to her I will have to find another doctor with a STAFF more responsive to a patient's needs. read more

When my kids are sick or myself, I gave Dr. Domantay a call and we can always get in on the same day. The staff there is great. They're friendly and knowledge. Mikaela, the nurse, always takes good care of you and returns your phone calls. You don't wait long when you get to see Dr. Domantay. She spends as much time with you as you need her to. Recently, I was attacked by a big dog and I had to see her. She got me right in to a hand specialist right away, I would recommend this doctor to anybody. When I thought I found the perfect Doctor, I was wrong! I chose Dr. Domantay as my PCP 2 years ago as she was in my network and I read great reviews about her. My first visit was good. Second and Last visit, was just OK. Dr. Domantay went through the basic physical questions and just listened to my answers. I guess there is not much to say when you look healthy and show no symptoms. She is very friendly and very knowledgeable. But it is so hard to get a hold of her office. I had to leave messages to schedule an appointment. When they finally called me back 4 days later, the next available appointment was 1 1/2 month later. The front office clerk checked me out, collected my co pay and forgot to give me my lab request, I had to remind her to print it out for me. After my lab results, I received a call by her nurse Rayna. She advised me I needed a certain prescription. She offered to call it in for me, but I didn't have the pharmacy info. Rayna said to call her back with it. I called her back 15 minutes later and got her voicemail, left the pharmacy info on her VM. 1 day later, no respond. Left about 3 messages over a 5 day period. so I called the pharmacy to check if my order was filled just in case she did call it in,but forgot to call me back to confirm. Nope, nothing there. It is going on 1 1/2 month. I even left an email for the Dr. Office. Still to this day, no respond. I can't seem to get a hold of a live person directly. I like the Doctor, but I can not stand bad customer service. As I am a business owner myself, I feel that customer service is the key to every business. I will not return read more

I came to know Dr. Domantay 8 years ago. She saved my life. She gave me a better quality of life. The entire staff is so friendly and most accommodating. I actually look forward to seeing her. I was referred a few years back by a coworker and I couldn't be happier with Dr. Domantay and the office staff. I first went to see her about migraines, which only seemed to be an issue for a short amount of time. She suggested having my eyes checked, and when I did, I found out I needed transitions and the migraines ceased. Every other time I've seen her, she's been patient, caring, very responsive with helpful, knowledgeable advice, and thorough. I have to say though, my most recent visit really blew me away. I have suffered from horrible cramps and back pain for at least two decades. It's progressively worsened. My mother finally pressed me to talk to someone after hearing me cry every month. I was hesitant because, in the past, when I mentioned the pain that to me seemed excessive, I was met with a dismissive response and was told to take ibuprofen. Ibuprofen never really helped, but I figured it must just be me and I stopped speaking about it at yearly exams. Scans showed cysts and fibroids, but there was never any concern showed for those. Infertility treatments produced nothing. Even the three specialists never checked into other possible reasons for the infertility. I was ready to just ask if I could get it all taken at my appt. and she mentioned endometriosis and suggested I see a specialist about it. She took her time and explained how they don't know unless they open you up; I had no idea, I just assumed gynecologists would know from annual exams if you have it. I went home and researched endometriosis and was completely shocked to read women's stories that could have been my own. All these years and not ONE SINGLE DOCTOR, ever mentioned this disease. I am now in the process of researching specialists, and it feels incredible to know I wasn't just imagining the awful pain I go through every single month, sometimes 20 days out of 30! I can't imagine anyone ever having a less than positive experience with this doctor. She's incredible. I just wish she could be my gynecologist too! read more
