Dr. Y did a rhino revision for me about 4 years ago. I broke my nose twice when I was growing up and the first Dr did me dirty. Dr. Y listened to all my wishes and explained everything to me so patiently. I met with about 5 drs and easily chose Dr. Y! Dr. Yavrouian is great! I was advised by a different ENT office to try a ClariFix procedure to mitigate my chronic rhinitis. I appreciate that Dr. Yavrouian had my best interests in mind and advised against ClariFix for several reasons, one being the painful brain freeze that comes after the procedure. After a few appointments in preparation, Dr. Yavrouian performed the RhinAer procedure. Though the procedure was quite unpleasant, I felt I was in competent, skilled hands. I highly recommend having someone drive you or at least meet you to be with you after the procedure. You will need to manage your body however it reacts. My body bled profusely. Chronic rhinitis was diminishing my quality of life, one tissue at a time. I had tissues in every jacket, pant, and shorts pocket. Tissues all over the house and car. It was really disruptive, especially in the cold and/or during exercise. Try participating in life with a faucet turned on, constantly flowing out of your nose. Not fun. I now use 1 dose per day of Atrovent, and my nose faucet is off. Before RhinAer, I needed 3-5 doses per day. I am grateful for the huge quality of life upgrade I received from Dr. Yavrouian. I've been a mouth breather for as long as I can remember. A full breath of air through my nostrils took at least 10 seconds. My deviated septum was starting to affect the shape of my mouth and caused me to snore pretty regularly. Oh, and I just so happened to despise the shape of my nose from the side. If someone was sitting next to me, I'd be so self conscious about my profile that I would turn my face towards them whenever possible. After going through a rough consult experience with another ENT doctor (who overcharged me without notice), my primary care doctor referred me over to Dr Yavrouian. I went to the office saw Eric Yavrourian he told me we need to do a septoplasty.I had a small hump on my nose doctor told me if i want to fix the hump I said no just need to breathe well.Here is the most important part I told him I don't want to change my nose shape are you sure it's not gonna effect on the shape of my nose he said of course no nothing is gonna be changed I said ok and trusted him.3 times I saw him always been asking are you sure it's not gonna change the look of my nose he said no again. After getting the surgery done I noticed that day by day my nose tip going down and my hump becoming bigger, left side catridge which keeps the shape of your nose wall broken and it's getting biger already 2 months.So after one month I went to see him for post op I told him my concerns that it became bigger and having a problem with left side breathing and he told me I never told you that you are gonna breathe the same way with your both nasals and what about your hump just don't look at it everything is the same of course he regretted that he messed up my nose.So it's been already 2 months my nose getting more Pointy and curvy .What about the breathing left nasal got better 50% and right one 70%and my nasal holes sizes are very different from inside .Here is the picture not a clear one just to get idea what I have been talking about.Left side before right after.And now I'm gonna spend around 15k to fix my nose. read more

I first went to Dr. Yavrouian a few years ago when my former ENT passed away. I had years of problems with my sinuses. I had used every spray and pill out there, but he prescribed a special powder to put in my saline solution rinse that literally changed my life. I used it for a few months and that was it! Dr. Yavrouian performed a septoplasty and turbinate reduction about 2 years ago. I can easily say the surgery was a success and I can breath 100% better. after two years post surgery -- I know and feel very confident that he has done a great job and is an experienced surgeon. My concern was my droopy nose and a little bump right above the tip of my nose. I went to a lot of doctors for a quote and consultation, and I've been told that it's easier to work on the bone part of the nose then the cartilage and mine was basically cartilage work, I can agree and understand that. They also made a really big deal about rhinoplasty revisions, told me that I have a thick skin, almost impossible to make my nose look smaller and gave me a quote cost of an arm and a leg. I never show any of the doctors a picture of a nose sample only because I wanted a nose to match my own face, basically my own nose, something that looks natural. When I came in for a consultation with Dr. Yavrouian he spent a good amount of time figuring out what can and cannot be done, explaining, talking through and discussing the outcome of my nose. He took photos and he even show me on the computer as to how my nose would look like. Kim provided me with the quote, and the scheduling of the surgery. With Kim's assistance everything went smoothly. I'm 7 months post op, still a healing process and my nose looks better and better every day.
