I am writing a very positive review here. I was suffering from sinusitis and Dr. Bublik recommended an in-office procedure called 'balloon sinuplasty'. He suggested this non-invasive approach as a way to potentially avoid surgery. I went ahead with the procedure and the results were phenomenal. I'm about a year out from the procedure and I still feel amazing. Having the procedure in his office/clinic was smooth and the staff and doctor were very accommodating. BEWARE - This doctor LIES and has multiple yelps plus offers incentives for good reviews. I received a rhino/septoplasty 4 years ago from him and am now having to get a revision to fix his bad work. If you just want your deviated septum fixed inside and do not care about the look then he is fine. That was sorted out and my breathing much better. HOWEVER, I had a crooked nose due to the deviation and wanted that fixed as well. Before surgery he kept promising me it would be fixed and strait after. That is not the case, it is still crooked and the tip of my nose (which he slimmed) points to one side. After the surgery he then said to me ohhh it is a hard fix so I cant make it strait without making it bigger. He should have been honest from the beginning that this type of nose was out of his ability. Also, a month after the surgery I was scared because my nose was huge and looked like an avatar. HE TOLD ME ALL THE SWELLING WAS GONE. Why would he do this and cause me to panic! Just bad information and thankfully my friend told me this was not the case and it would not look normal till at least 3-6 months. His placement of the cartilage for refining my nose is terrible, and my nose looks worse that it was before. I no longer take photos of myself because I am so conscious of it. The profile of my face is only good from the left side due to the nature of the crookedness. I am now saving up for revision for someone to fix his bad work. Wish I would have just avoided him in the first place and just paid for the expensive beverly hills doctor who knew what he was talking about. If you have a difficult nose, really do your research to find the expert who can do the best job because getting a septum fixed is super easy but the cosmetic portion is a lot harder to get right in certain cases. read more

As a physician myself, I study the background and training of each of my doctors. While it might not be readily apparent to most patients--largely because Dr. Bublik does not self-promote in the way that has come to be expected -- I can honestly say that Dr. Bublik's credentials are beyond exceptional- he was impeccably trained at the best programs and his distinctions definitely translate to his real-world, everyday clinical practice. When I first saw Dr. Bublik for recurrent sinus infections, I had no idea about the balloon sinuplasty procedure- an office procedure to dilate the openings to the sinus cavities. I was so relieved to learn that there was an alternative to a major surgical procedure. On the day of the procedure, there was a problem with the insurance coverage- his staff worked diligently to resolve it. While I was sedated for much of the procedure, a friend who accompanied me, and whom Dr. Bublik permitted to watch the procedure, reported that Dr. Bublik moved confidently through the steps, explaining in detail the anatomical landmarks and the nuances of each sinus opening. Another reviewer criticized Dr. Bublik for only glancing at the video of her nasal scoping procedure during her office visit. I can tell you that when a specialist like Dr. Bublik has done literally thousands of these scopes, all he *needs to do* is glance at the screen. I can also report that running a clinic with this kind of expertise involves expenses beyond anything that we can imagine. Of course- let's be real-billing errors are going to occur occasionally, but each of my experiences over 6 years has been completely "by the book"- never even the slightest question on my part. Dr. Bublik is a phenomenal clinician and surgeon who is truly at the top of his game. He is efficient and focused, but also deeply caring and very committed to his calling. I see a wide range of patients in his waiting room, and when a friend of mine without insurance needed to be seen urgently, there was *no issue* and *no delay* in scheduling an appointment-- the very next day! I can really tell when a doctor is "going through the motions," or alternatively when a doctor truly feels a deep calling and commitment to care. Beyond any doubt and beyond any question, Dr. Bublik cares very deeply. His entire staff including his physician assistant, Stephen, as well as Adriana, Arpi, and his allergy tester, Karine, are in a whole different league of excellence. Been having sinus issues for 24 years....my entire life. I've seen so many doctors and gotten wrong information. Dr. Bublik did not sugarcoat and knew exactly what needed to be done. I got a septoplasty & turbinate reduction. It's a nasty recovery but it was the best it could've been! Only bleeding on the first day and my nose is INCREDIBLE. I can finally breathe properly. Dr. Bublik called me a few hours after the surgery to make sure I was doing okay. I'm so happy that I got this procedure done. Also, shoutout to the staff at the Glendale hospital. Be sure to get a second opinion if Dr Bublik recommends surgery for you ! He didn't even look at the CT scan he ordered of me and said I had a deviated septum that needed surgery along with 2 other invasive procedures ! When I said the CT report did not say I had a problem on the side where I had sinus issues - he refused to talk to me about it and the receptionist and person who schedules surgery became very cold and rude! I went to another ENT and he went over my CT scan with me and said I did NOT have ANY of the problems Dr Bublik said I had ! read more

I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Dr. Bublik's office. I never had to waste more than 5 minutes waiting for him, he was always very prompt. His nurse/assistant (?) Arpy is so friendly, sweet, and comforting. And most importantly I couldn't be more please with my results. Dr. Bublik performed a septoplasty and rhinoplasty to fix breathing and cosmetic issues caused from past trauma and i wish I had done this sooner, I couldn't be happier with the results. I'm breathing better than I ever have and am so happy with the appearance. Really, I was even surprised at how quickly I healed, 1 week later I was barely swollen, no black eyes and back to work feeling great. I went in several weeks ago for a very specific issue and one of the associates Alexandra Russell who met with me for only maybe 10 minutes or less was not listening to my concerns. But the main issues was following a routine swab test in which results should have come back in maybe a 3-5 days, I ended up not hearing back from them for three weeks. But the only reason I heard back from them was one of their receptionists calling me telling me that they had my results and that I could only hear the results for a test I paid for, if I scheduled another appointment with them. I asked if I could just speak with the associate and hear the results and she still said no. This is clearly a place of business not interested in care, but rather trying to make money at every corner possible. In every other medical situation when you get a test there is some sort of portal online to access your results or you receive a call from your doctor, without a paywall to access your already paid for test. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

If you are going for allergy shots I would highly recommend going somewhere else. The staff doesn't communicate. I actually showed up on time for an allergy shot appt. and they told me that I couldn't get my shot because the nurse was doing a procedure for someone else. And when I later left a message for a nurse to call me back, she never did. I also don't think that their allergy shot mixture is legitimate. The shots did not cause any sort of allergic reaction and I've been getting allergy shots for over 20 years. The doctor refused to look at my previous medical records. I took my mom to see Dr. Bublik and off the bat he was very dismissive. He spent all about one minute and said there was nothing wrong. Really? I took a day off to see him for that. Came to this Doctor for a number of issues expecting him to fix hopefully just one. All these important issues I came to him for have been fixed or addressed. I have birth defects that make it hard for me to breath out of my nose (cleft palate). Also have other problems in my mouth. On top of this, I was curious to see what I'm allergic to. Never been tested. The first issue the PA addressed was cauterizing my tonsils with silver nitrate. My tonsils get stuff trapped in them and this has helped. Next I got an allergy test and that was quick and relatively painless. And now I am 1 month after a septoplasty and things are going great! I've had doctors in the past run away from me because I am too complicated of a case but for Michael, I was just another case and he had a great attitude throughout the whole process. Thanks Michael for being human, professional and for getting the job done! and thanks for hiring genuinely nice people like Steven the PA. He has performed two surgeries for our family, one for me so I could breathe better and fixed my deviated septum, and the other for another family member for a different procedure. So far mine has been fantastic and also the other surgery is looking very good too, time will tell but so far so good. I chose him for the second surgery specifically because I wanted someone very good who I had already tried. He always has strong referrals even otherwise when his name comes up. He's polite, attentive and we have been happy. His staff is very good too. When you read different reviews keep in mind everyone will have different expectations and perhaps will heal differently, but in my experience with medical professionals over the years he is an excellent surgeon and was worth the cost. The second procedure was not covered (as I knew it wouldn't be), but we still paid out of pocket to have him because of his track record. read more

I am so thankful for Dr. Bublik and his amazing staff! My mom was having trouble breathing through her nose for many years so I decided to search for a specialist who could figure out and solve her problem. I was lucky to find Dr. Bublik who is not only an ENT but also specializes in plastic surgery and allergy! We were very pleased with how accommodating and nice him and his staff were. On our first visit, Dr. Bublik figured out my mom's symptoms were due to a deviated septum and would be able to correct it with a septoplasty. Since she would already be undergoing a procedure, she asked him about correcting a small bump and the tip of her nose as well. He was very attentive and understood exactly what she wanted. My mom had been hesitant to have anyone work on her face before but Dr. Bublik knew how to make the subtle changes that she wanted and met with her again prior to her surgery to go over what her nose would look like and answer any questions that she had. The entire process from start to finish was a breeze as Dr. Bublik had let us know what to expect and had scheduled weekly follow-ups with my mom. I had been coming to Dr. Bublik for my allergies. They suggested Allergy shots so i started on them.. I then stopped going because my immune system had gone down. They never once told me that my insurance wasn't fully covering them and I had to pay out of pocket. I was then sent a big bill. This doctor's office is a lying deceiving place. Only to find out months later the staff lied to me and then back tracked them every saying it was covered. The procedure I had was a reduction of turbinates, a correction of my deviated septum, and cosmetic rhinoplasty. Patient beware. (EDITED) This office finally took me out of collections after my credit was demolished from being wrongfully billed in spite of trying to communicate with the office several times. Dr. Bublik's office appears to be knowledgable, but communication is paramount with healthcare providers. I went in for a routine ear infection and was told these words: "we're going to look in your nose" and I was given a Nasal Endoscopy- without my consent. For those that don't know, this is uncomfortable, invasive, and in my case, was painful and frightening! (Big surprise, I have a deviated septum like a billion other people.) The office swears this was a necessary procedure and I'm not a doctor, so maybe it was. HOWEVER- I'm an adult and a human and it is illegal to give people procedures without consent. In many cases with this specific procedure, offices make patients sign a specific form- try googling it. read more

He (for the 3rd time), had his deviated septum worked on, and couldn't stop raving about the difference with Dr. Bublik...thoroughness in the exam & recommendations, less pain after the procedure, and most importantly, perfect results. His experience gave me the courage to finally address what I'd needed for years. I CAN'T BELIEVE I WAITED SO LONG TO HAVE THIS TAKEN CARE OF! Now it's ME who is raving about my experience with Dr. Bublik. Every step of this process was stress-free (his demeanor alone puts anyone at ease), handled thoroughly & professionally (my last ENT never even ordered a CT scan), MUCH easier recovery than I anticipated, and the results are LIFE-CHANGING. That is no exaggeration. Before this procedure, I was exhausted ALL the time. My cheek and eyes constantly felt weighed down with sinus pressure, and I was not sleeping well do to severe snoring that led to me not breathing properly all night. I could sleep 9-10 hours and still wake up exhausted. AFTER Dr. Bublik, I have NO sinus pressure in my face, and am waking up without an alarm clock, clear-headed and energized. I can't believe the difference. I feel like a completely different person. I've accomplished more in the last 6 weeks, than the last year. The constant fatigue and "fuzzy brain" is GONE. Absolutely amazing surgeon! Dr. Michael Bublik is incredible, If I can rate this with more stars I would!! He fixed my deviated septum from a hit to the nose 3 years ago changed my airway and caused my nose to shift to the right. ( I had a deviated septum) I visited two other ENT specialist before Bublik and let me tell you I was not about to have either of them touch my face after a uncaring uninterested short consultation . When I met Bublik it was an instant connection, I knew he understood what I wanted and we agreed on the same changes, ( not only did he say he can fix my deviated septum he does rhinoplasty as well !! Even better!!) He does more than tell you what he is envisioning but he shows you a Before & After morph photo. Amazingggg right!!! We'll right away I made an appointment and next thing you know I'm in hospital bed wearing my hospital gown ready for my new nose. Four hours later I wake up , with a cast on my nose seeing birds fly. Lol I went home with no pain and slept off the drugs. I had swelling for two days and bruising for a week. I saw Bublik the very next day and then every two to three days then once every week and now every two weeks . The results were in after two weeks from the surgery. I have a clear airway, I don't have trouble sleeping at night, no more snoring, and of course I love the look of my cosmetic nose. I have a nice profile now. I had him shave down the small bump I had and add a bit more of a tip to my nose which I did not have before using my own skin graft. Plus he fixed the curve I had gotten. I can't say enough how grateful I am to have such great results that came so close to the morphing pictures . He's talented and I highly recommend Bublik for Rhinoplasty . read more
