We tried this place when it first opened. Portions were very small and food was just ok. Went back again years later and it has not improved. The service was just ok. Everyone else around us got a basket of chips and salsa except us. The food portions were small, not like we want a ginormous portion but at least worth the extreme price tag. Food was just ok. Decided to try this restaurant after church on a Sunday around 12pm. We were seated right away, love the decor and vibes. Customer service was great! We ordered mini tostadas ( no meat) very good size but a little too much cabbage for our liking. The sample platter as an appetizer, it was a perfect amount of taquitos, quesadilla and nachos. The taquitos and quesadilla was already cut in bite pieces. This was delicious . The chile relleno and taco dorado plate was a good size, came with rice and beans on the side. Flavorful and great portion. A breakfast burrito which was amazing! So many great flavors in one bite, we all loved it! Lastly the red chilaquiles. Good flavor, crispy tortilla chips and scrambled eggs. We will be returning and soon! Paid about $120 for 4 dishes, 1 appetizer and 3 drinks. read more

I have been coming to Mi Sabor since it opened and even recommended our family and friends. We recently went on a Saturday around lunch time and it was not busy. We were sat by a nice host but our waitress that took our drink order was very rude. I had told her we were ready to order and she was "I'm just taking your drink order and have to go take the other customer orders. I will be back." I looked at my husband and we were shocked. We didn't have water, chips or salsa. We waited and not once did she come back to acknowledge us. Our bartender gave us our chips and salsa and asked if there was anything else we needed. We have come here a few times. Food is okay. I only gave 2 stars because of prices. A small 16 oz draft beer $11, a coffee just under $5. They had a chilaquiles board with a piece of meat small portion of rice & beans with 2 eggs on top for $30. The quality & quantity for their prices is questionable. Nice clean restaurant & ambiance. I know Sundays they have live music for a couple hours. I just can't see paying these prices. read more

Mi Sabor is one of my favorite local restaurants. The food is consistently delicious, the service is great, and the environment inside the restaurant is nice. I believe the chef and owner is from Puebla. I have tried a variety of different items such as the enchiladas de mole, quesabirrias, chilaquiles, flautas, taquitos de papa, and tostadas de carnitas, among other items. I recently went with my friend to get some takeout. I ordered something new: a torta de carne asada. The torta was delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. All of the ingredients tasted fresh. The bread was so soft. I love that it came with a jalapeño. I'm looking forward to trying more items on the menu. I'm looking forward to my next visit. read more

Nice little restaurant in Glendora. The ambiance is cute but, they definitely need a lil music! The staff was friendly and efficient. To start, I ordered the Guacamole with Chicharron which was really good. For breakfast, I had the Machaca con Huevo which had good flavor. My only complaint about the dish was I wished the veggies were sautéed a little longer- the star of the dish needs to be the shredded beef. The rice was okay but the beans and flour tortillas were really good. They also provide you with complimentary chips and an amazing in house salsa. Others, ordered the Queso Birria Tacos and Chorizo con Huevo. Both looked great and I heard both were amazing. Celebrated my Dads birthday here and as Mexicans, we approved! The ambience is filled with Mexican culture and I was immediately taken by the artwork beautifully hand painted on the walls. We went midweek around lunch time and wasn't busy while we ate there. But it looks like the place that can definitely become very lively in the weekends! The server Angie was very hospitable and nice. Food was 5/5 for me and I recommend the chilaquiles, red or green are both delicious! And the machaca plate was also very good. I stuck with my glass of water. Pass. The Carnitas Plate- I was not thrilled with that order either. The carnitas were missing that authentic Mexican flavor, that for me is a big miss, the rice and beans were meh. Pass. My son ordered a cheese enchiladas plate with salsa verde, I heard no complaints from him about his dish. He enjoyed it. Me and my family of four were seated in a booth; neither the base of the seat nor the back had any upholstery, it felt like I was sitting on a wooden box, It was a bit odd and uncomfortable. Pass on booths. Ask for table with chairs. Our server was nice/ friendly, he stopped to check our table every so often. The restaurant is clean and there is ample parking. First of all $18 for menudo is diabolical. Secondly I ask for extra meat and where was it at?? And lastly the most disappointing was it wasn't even beef tripe as menudo should be right?? This place was a really nice find! The interior is very beautiful with super comfy chairs! The food is very tasty and reasonably priced as well. We ordered the chilaquiles, chicken quesadilla, and breakfast burrito. All were very satisfying. Even the chips and salsa was very tasty and fresh.
