Maria's Bowl

Very kind staff and unlimited chips and salsa! Soda is also free refills although the menu said otherwise. Highly recommend this restaurant for your fix of Mexican food while in the area! 4/5 - Tacos (3) that we bought were very filling and appropriately seasoned! Preferred the asada over the pollo. 5/5 - Shrimp Rancheros was very filling and we were impressed by the portions. Shrimp was the star of the show. 3/5 - The bowl was decent though the beef was slightly more salty than we preferred. Nevertheless, it was still a good dish with the usual combo of flavors from a burrito bowl.

After a couple of recommendations, we decided to try this restaurant. It was good. Clean, ample parking, friendly service. The bar on the right side of the restaurant was really busy because it was opening day for the Dodgers, but the restaurant itself had a few empty booths. We waiting about 5 minutes before we were seated. The food was tasty, the sauce a bit on the spicier side, but had good flavors. I ordered the chile relleno plate. The Chille Relleno was good, but nothing that I would say I had to go back and order. My husband had the flautas and he said they were also good, a little too crispy for my liking (tried cutting with a knife, but they cracked across the table as if they were taquitos). The bar seems to be where it's at. The margarita was delicious! Very strong, felt like I ordered a double shot and they forgot the mix, but very good. The chips are excellent. I'd go back for the bar.

I haven't been here in 18 years so I needed to come back again because my friend who lives in the Glendora says it is the best Mexican food in the area! I have eaten at La Via Kitchen in Via Verde (San Dimas) every week for three years with my friends. One of those friends is the guy that lives in Glendora, who says Maria's is even better than La Villa Kitchen! Very bold statements, right? So???? First off the place is twice as big as last time I was here, the waitress said they expanded about five years ago? Love the booths! Second off, the chips and salsa were very good, 99% chance they are supplied by La Tolteca in Azusa ..... lots of places use them in the area because they are so good. I had my standard shredded beef, taco cheese, and enchilada yada yada yada.... I have to say, my friend is probably right. This place is killer. The taco is packed full of shredded beef, no fat no weird stuff in there. AND there is at least twice as much meat as any other place in the area. Cheese enchilada was very good, even though there were a few onions inside when I ordered no onions. Race very flavor bowl with no weird stuff throwing in it either. Service was top-notch .... I love this place, it it's going to go into my permanent rotation !!

This place is really close to Foothill Hospital. Stopped by and ordered Maria's Bowl and beef burrito - so yummy! Their beans and rice are the best! Service was quick and staff were very attentive. Large parking lot - shared with Vons. Will definitely be back!

Food: My husband ordered the grade burrito with carne Asada meat. The meat was chopped up so small you didn't have a nice bite of meat! It blended in to all the rice & beans. There was so much rice and very little meat! Very disappointing! $3.00 extra to make it wet really. Which the sauce coast .25 cents. I would not order again! Definitely not worth a rice burrito!! I ordered the two item dinner. Two beef tacos which were flavorful. The rice & beans were a salt bomb, inedible!! Salad was crisp lettuce only and a wedge of an unripe tomato. With sour cream no kick! Horrible!!!!!! Cook: I am also classically trained culinary chef. Salt brings out the flavors. NOT a salt bomb! Inedible!! Please back off on the salt in your rice and beans! Less rice in your burritos, and cube the meat into bite size pieces, please do not chop it so fine you can't taste or see the meat with 2 cups of rice WOW Very disappointing burrito! Decor ok, please wash off the dust and dirt that has collected on your fake plants inside your restaurant please. For our server: " 5 Fantastic service! Brought water with a lemon, chips and salsa, OK. We didn't get our servers name, because she didn't introduce herself. I would suggest saying. " welcome I am -------- and I will be serving you." To who ever our server was, you were a pleasure!!!! Thank you. We came in Wednesday May1/2024 @ 5: ish pm. She was a blond. We thank you for impeccable service. This was our first time at this restaurant sadly will be our last, not due to the service due to the quality of the food. Thank you. Culinary Chef, Jeanette

And for those of you that know or follow me , of course I got a double cheeseburger, chili cheese, fries, and the Dr Pepper... . I have to say that it is a very nice location. The people that worked out were also friendly and down to earth and just very welcoming and as I like to put it just cool.People.... The location is nice and clean well kept very comfortable to sit in and have lunch for breakfast or whatever. And I did notice that everyone that was in there, seemed very comfortable, enjoying their meals. And like I said earlier, I've been to other locations and for some reason this one just seems to be a little more easy-going. So if you live in the area or you're driving through, go ahead, step in grab something and enjoy a really good meal. (Ps) sorry I didn't post any pictures because well let's be honest. They honestly have some of the best cheesesteaks and the meat is well seasoned and flavorful. The cheese sauce is also very flavorful as well. We shared the large west coast cheesesteak and cheesy tots both with chipotle cheese sauce added to it and it was more than enough for two people. It was absolutely delicious! The cheesy sauce was a bit on the saltier end since the tots and the sandwich were both drenched in it but it was good. Next time we plan to order the sandwich with provolone instead of the cheese sauce. Service was excellent! The workers there are really kind and provided us with paper bowls and utensils since they knew we were sharing. There's some seating inside and outside the shop, but the shop is small. Plenty of parking located in the plaza with other shared businesses. Would highly recommend!

It was packed with juicy meat! I do wish there were some more veggies mixed in and a bit more cheese, but I can't complain too much about the size. I really enjoyed every bite of this cheesesteak! We also got some Tater Tots that were, surprisingly, still crazy crispy when we had them. Unfortunately, they were dripping in oil to the point where you could really taste it. I understand that's what it takes to make them this crispy, but it felt gross eating them.

About an hour before, I went onto their website to place the order. A few minutes after confirming the order, I realized I needed to make an adjustment on one of them. I called the store and they were able to amend and accommodate. When it comes to pick-up, this store is located in a large plaza. I came about 30 minutes after ordering and everything was ready. The pick-up process was very smooth and they gave extra peppers, cheese, etc. Even before I got to try the pizza, I knew it was going to be AMAZING based on the smells that took over my car. For the total order, I got the following items: - Tandoori and Tikka Masala (Half/Half - Large) - Butter Chicken (No tomato, onions, cilantro - Medium) - Chili Paneer (Small) - Pesto Breadsticks - Loaded Curry Waffle Fries Personally, I tried a bit of everything aside from the butter chicken and had a pleasant experience with all of them. My personal favorite was the chili paneer since it had a slight spice kick. For the waffle fries, I highly recommend to enjoy that early on, as it gets soggy over time. My friends also had great remarks about the flavors. Looking forward to giving this place another try in the future!

Now I'm sad bc I wanted more. Crispy like a panko breading and a side of butter sauce. I could eat 10. Delicious. Wings were good sized ($10.99 for 6). Could have been fried a little longer but nice and meaty and the sauce is good. Our ranch came open and spilled all over the bag so that was a bummer. Both pizzas were very tasty. $17.99 for a small, but it was more than enough because they do not skimp on toppings at all. I wish the crust was a little crispier or chewier maybe a little more salty. It didn't have a great handmade crust feel or flavor and it wasn't chewy like 00 flour. I would probably try the thin crust next time. But the flavor of the ingredient toppings was fantastic. I got the butter chicken one, and as you can see from my photo it was absolutely loaded with chicken. You could taste the sauce, the red onion, and the chicken. This was seriously a yummy pizza. The spice level was perfect. Enough to have a tingle but not so hot you can't taste. And super super filling. My husband got the spicy pepperoni. He loved the big pepperoni on there. It was ooey and gooey. He felt similarly about the crust, but I bet you tomorrow in the air fryer that will be nice. We also like a thin crispy crust, regardless. Overall, super fun and creative idea that was well executed. Will eat again!
