I have grew up around Sherman and always loved MG's. The decor is set up like an older diner with jukebox and pictures of classic cars. There are also old car hood ornaments all around. The burgers are all names after cars like the Chevy or Ford. It is small but plenty of room to sit. The burgers are awesome! I have never tried any other entree my self. They are homemade patties on buns made fresh from a bakery. The burgers are a little greasy though. They fries are also good. I also have noticed their hot dogs are deep fried. May sound gross but is pretty good. I have never tried their desserts but they do offer some. They food is made fresh to order. The portion sizes are great. If I get an adult meal I have enough for two meals. If I get a kids meal I am still full. The shakes are also great. This is a must try burger joint in the area. read more

Delicious food! Order the Buick which is with thousands island dressing. The restaurant itself was clean. The table was freshly wiped and still very wet. Our server was pleasant enough. Found this gem on a whim on the way to Oklahoma and were not disappointed! Great food, the buns were so soft and fluffy and the fact that they were fresh baked daily did not escape out attention. Was recommended to MG's from a business contact and am I glad I stopped. You literally feel like you stepped into the past when you come thru the doors. Old school jukebox along with vintage signs and memorabilia. Order at the counter and the food is delivered to the table. Now on to the food...I ordered the Buick and it was awesome. Hamburger meat had great flavor, super fresh veggies and the bun is fantastic. I had the onion rings and a cold coke...super delicious meal. This place is a real gem. Best burgers anywhere Maine to California. I've lived in nearly a dozen states and visited many others and found none any better than Mg's. Different maybe but none better. Huge patties well cooked and the best homemade fries I've ever had anywhere. The new location is nifty but liked the smaller, original one better. Excellent service also. Great service and the food is really good. A small suggestion would be to make the pieces of chicken bigger on the bacon wrapped jalapeño appetizer. What a fabulous place, great theme with cars & the gas station. On nice days the overhead doors are open. Very friendly staff, amazing menu with all kinds of burgers & sandwiches named after different cars and Great salads. Large portions, so so good. You must try The Carburator Plate ! This place sits smack dab in an older neighborhood. We had the fried pickle chips which were crispy and good. Nothing overly fancy just done right. I thought that the burgers were really good but one suggestion my girlfriend had was a slightly bigger patty. The hamburgers come with your choice of either french fries or onion rings. First of all, we were greeted by a young lady named CASEY who was the host and waitress. Wow-owner, pay attention, she lights up the room and is very good at her job. She's a keeper!
