My CarMax option was at the car lot in Duarte, but they shipped it to my nearby Irvine location at no fee so that I could look it over and test drive it. I met Byron at an appointed time, test drove it, asked a bunch of questions, and inspected it thoroughly. I liked it even better in person than what I saw online and made the purchase. Byron made the buying experience quick, easy, pressure-free, and made me feel comfortable - he's great at his job! I love my car.

Steve Marshalek made specific representations regarding the prepaid service package, complimentary service, and warranty coverage I was purchasing. I relied on those representations when making my decision. Now that I am attempting to use what I was told I purchased, I am being told something materially different. The situation became even more troubling during my experience with Vincent in Service. I explicitly stated that I wanted only required maintenance--not recommended or optional services. Despite that clear instruction, I was presented with charges for services I would never have knowingly authorized had they been properly explained as optional rather than required. This is not the level of transparency, ethics, or professionalism anyone should expect from a Porsche dealership. My experience with Steve and Vincent has left me questioning the integrity of the entire transaction. Get every representation in writing, question every charge, and do not assume a handshake or verbal assurance from this dealership means anything. I purchased a lexus ct200h from this dealership…read more I want to personally recommend Dana Corp because of how John handled my situation. After driving my newly purchased car off the lot, I experienced a bad radio signal. I didn't think too much of it because bad radio signals are common especially if the area you are in does not have strong signal. However, after driving it around closer to home i realized something was wrong. I called up John and told him my issue and he had me bring it back. Immediately, John had a technician try to diagnose and fix the issue but was unable to solve it due to some obscure way Lexus install radio antennas. However, John did not leave me hanging and went beyond and above his expectations by paying for my radio problem to be fixed at lexus dealership. The Lexus dealership wanted to charge a few hundred dollars to fix this issue and the fact that John assured me he would take care of it put me at ease. Most dealerships would never take care of their customers like this and I just want to acknowledge John personally for his wonderful customer service and making things right. Scathing Review…read more Absolutely terrible Service Department -- communication, workmanship, and customer service are unacceptable. My experience with this dealership's Service Department has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had with an automotive dealership. The biggest problem is that they simply do not communicate with their customers. They routinely don't answer their phones, don't return phone calls, and don't respond to text messages. You can leave message after message and end up having to chase them repeatedly just to find out what is happening with your own vehicle. And when they finally do get around to the work, everything seems to take an unreasonable amount of time. I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership and was told it had gone through a 45-point inspection before being sold. Yet approximately four weeks after purchasing it, an independent repair shop found a leaking front strut that had apparently been leaking for some time, as well as worn upper rear shock bushings. Neither issue had been disclosed to me or repaired before the vehicle was sold. That raises a very serious question: What exactly is being checked during this supposed 45-point inspection? My experience didn't end there. I also had an issue with the vehicle's A/C. The dealership eventually repaired it, but while the vehicle was in their possession, it came back with approximately a 15-inch scratch/gouge on the lower portion of the bumper/fender area near the right front tire. The dealership initially denied causing the damage. After numerous phone calls and a tremendous amount of aggravation, they eventually sent the vehicle to their body shop to have it repaired. Getting that damage taken care of was another ordeal. It took weeks and countless calls before the vehicle finally got into the body shop. I shouldn't have to spend weeks repeatedly calling a dealership to get them to address damage that occurred while my vehicle was in their care. What makes all of this even more concerning is that this Service Department has reportedly been ranked last among service departments in four Southern California counties in customer reviews. Based on my experience, I can certainly understand why. A dealership's Service Department should make customers feel that their vehicle is in competent hands. Instead, my experience has been the opposite: poor communication, extremely slow service, failure to return calls and messages, and having to constantly chase them to get basic answers and resolution. If you value your time, your vehicle, and being able to actually communicate with the people servicing your car, I would strongly recommend taking your vehicle somewhere else. This has been an exceptionally frustrating experience, and I would not recommend this Service Department nor the dealer to anyone.
