My first purchase occurred four years ago, and I am still driving and enjoying that car. When my…read moregirlfriend needed a replacement car for her damaged Lexus, CarMax was the immediate choice. CarMax employs low pressure sales pros who do a skillful job of explaining, showing, demonstrating, and of course, selling quality used cars. Today we compared a Lexus UX to a Lexus ES and my girlfriend made her choice. We were able to drive and compare the automobiles at our own pace, and with zero sales pressure. When my girlfriend made the choice, and financing was needed to complete the deal, another non pressured offer was presented for consideration. All in all, from start to finish, the day was fruitful, and resulted in the purchase of a fine small car that will serve our transportation needs for the foreseeable future. The experience was quite pleasant and devoid of the tricks, games, and shenanigans we always have experienced at new car dealerships. Our sales representative was ELIJAH. We returned a week later to obtain new tires for this newly purchased car, and were treated well by the service advisor named Jose. The tires were installed and the car runs more smoothly. Very happy with the purchase.

We had an appointment to browse, and were assigned to Mahanth Kommireddy. When he came up to us, he shook my hand, introduced himself to me, AND THEN COMPLETELY IGNORED MY WIFE. We almost walked out right there, but wanted to test drive a car so we bit our tongues. Even once we went to his desk, he still did not acknowledge her at all. If this is how he treats wives of potential customers, I'm sure this isn't the first and won't be the last time he cost you business. I ended up doing the whole sit through the dealer nightmare that you guys are supposed to be a better alternative to because I refuse to reward such awful behavior.

I had been searching for a Premium package Volt for some time. Plug Auto had the car I was looking for, And, fair priced to boot! Plug brought the car to my home for inspection and a test drive. All done at my convenience. It couldn't have been easier! The car was better than the ad said! We agreed on a price and a few days later I was in Plugs office doing paper work and signing documents. 30 minutes later I was out the door and on my way! No pressure from a salesman. No sales manager needing to approve anything. No hassle, and, a great experience! If they have a car you want, go see them, now. Or it will probably be sold. I hope they get involved with used Tesla's. I might be there 1st sale!

Plug Auto Group specializes in electric/hybrid vehicles and is easily the best one-stop for a Chevy…read moreVolt in SoCal. Why? Overhead, expertise, and a keen sense of professionalism. Overhead: when trying to purchase a quality used car, the norm is: a big lot, several salespeople, a back office and associated marketing and support costs. Plug Auto Group is small, low overhead, well-run company that doesn't have any 'fat'. Expertise: Jason knows the vehicle and finance trades and is able to explain the potential routes to purchase an electric/hybrid. He also owns Volts and knows the features inside out. Professionalism: from assessing my needs, establishing my timeline, informing me of possible vehicles and keeping in contact with me along the process, I felt as though I was working with a peer. At car dealerships, even specialized electric/hybrid lots, I felt like I was either being pandered to or was an unwilling participant in a sales game. Jason provided the same type of documents I found at large dealerships - he uses Simpson Chevrolet to check the vehicle, Carfax, and even provided condition reports from auction houses. And I should mention that when we went to pick up our vehicle, and sign documents, the whole process was prepared and streamlined. It took us 33 minutes to go over the documents and electronically sign. Amazing. Then we spent another 20 minutes going over the vehicle, talking about tips and maintenance. I don't write reviews often because I am not easily impressed. I was impressed by Plug Auto Group and feel I received the vehicle that I was looking for at a price point better than a dealership, with exemplary customer service.

I want to specifically thank Tim Allen for helping me through the purchase process and keeping everything extremely well-organized, low-pressure, and transparent. TLDR: Internet department is great to work with, no hassle experience…read moreLove-Encore program needs to do better. I was waiting to write this review after having my Love-Encore appointment today to see how the end-to-end experience was buying a car from here. The experienced stopped short before the Love-Encore appointment, so I can't give them a 5 star rating, simply because a program dedicated to Customer Experience, fell way short. Allow me to elaborate. 1 week after buying the car, I get a calendar invite from a random person named Dianna, to come in at 2 PM on a Tuesday afternoon for something(?). No introductory email or asking when a good time is. My first thought was this is a phishing attempt. Like many of us who need to work, I can't make that. So I emailed back after figuring out what it was actually for, and tell her I can't make, and requested a virtual appointment. She responded asking for a better time/date which I provided. I get another calendar invite from her, but with no meeting link. So I email her back requesting it, and I get a response, "It will be sent the day of.". Ok...thats odd..., but I'll go with it. As you probably already figured out by now, no meeting link was ever sent. No follow up email. It turns out she sent a meeting invite to my work number (?!?!). Not sure why it just wasn't sent on the same channel of communication that we were using...or even confirm the number, or confirm that I got it? Here is the timeline of events: - Waiting by my email for the link to be sent (10:45am). - My appointment was at 11 AM, I guess she forgot or missed my appointment. - Meeting invite sent at 11AM to my work's main line. - Followup email received at 11:26 AM, saying it was sent to my work line. Would I like to reschedule? (Even the email was formatted poorly, cut and pasted) - No other communication was sent. It baffles me how a program targeted at Customer Experience, can be so bad in and of itself. I'm not going to blame her, as it might be the training of the program given from the corporate level. I suggest sending Dianna to a class on communication and customer success. I hope this is read by them and that adjustments are made so that future customers don't experience the same frustration I did. For the record, I didn't get any introduction to the car, no features overview when I bought it. I believe that is what this was for.
