When I was finally in the market for a new SUV, and having read what seemed like100 5-star reviews on Yelp, my mind was set on 4 SUVs with very specific options. I made the decision to go with SMG/Lease Max. I called them up and was immediately connected with Alexander Marton. He asked me a few questions such as what kind of cars I was in the market for, including required options, monthly payment range, etc., and sent me a couple of forms via email to complete and return. Alexander was extremely helpful in assisting me in narrowing down the field to two luxury SUVs. He was able to get me a fantastic 39/10K lease on a 2016 Infiniti QX60 Premium/Premium Plus Pkg. As a busy mother of 2-year-old twin boys who also works full-time, my time is very valuable to me and I was in no mood to play the haggling game--I had better things to do with my time. Alexander really stepped up to the plate to make this car leasing process one of the easiest and FASTEST I've ever done. He took care of all the negotiating for me, picked me up at my home while daddy watched the kids, and drove me to the Infiniti dealership to pick up my brand-spanking-new car--all in less than a week! Interestingly, while I was reviewing the lease paperwork alone with the finance rep, she completely caught me off guard and tried to talk me into buying a whole bunch of excess wear & tear protection plans, and would have literally blown my monthly car payment several hundred dollars more. Fortunately, I told her that I wanted to confer with my broker first before deciding, and waited for Alexander to return from taking a quick call from another client. He was right there by my side to rescue me...WHEW! If you are considering leasing, please be aware that the dealership will try to sell you a plethora of excess wear and tear plans, which will easily add $20 or more to your monthly payment should you decide to add them. I highly recommend you do your homework on each of the cars you are considering (e.g., money factor, residual, adj. cap cost) and know beforehand, which, if any, of the lease excess wear and tear protection plans are right for you If you normally take good care of your car, you probably won't need any extra protection, but I do recommend you be physically present when the inspection takes place before you turn in your car at the end of the lease term. Never leave your car at the dealership for the final inspection, you'll be sorry. While I do take very good care of my cars, I have had bad experiences in the past with careless and unscrupulous people backing into my bumpers on my MBZ and then leaving the scene of the crime. I did get the bumper protection for my peace of mind, considering that I'm leasing a $50K SUV with sophisticated cameras on front/rear bumpers, and I'd hate to think how much it would cost me to repair them shoud they become damaged in any way. All in all, I highly recommend Alexander Marton. He is an extremely down-to-earth and knowledgeable car professional who will negotiate the best deal on your behalf. I was all over the place. Looking at Jeeps. BMW 4 series. 3 series. Even thought about an X5. Looked at jaguar F pace. Land Rover Velar. I just couldn't make up my mind. I wasn't worried about the deal because I know I can go to a dealership and grind the hell out of those guys. I was more in need of an "auto expert" if u will. I needed a consultant. Somebody knowledgeable about cars that could steer me in the right direction and get me the best bang for the buck, and something that met all my needs. If I'm gonna be in a car for 36 months I needed to make sure it's the perfect car. After calling almost every broker around I came to realize these guys are just doing what I can do myself. Some people don't have the time. I do. I work from home so I have no problem calling dealerships and shopping. But when I would call a dealership they would obviously tell me there brand is the BEST lol. Everybody brand is the best smh. And half these so called brokers are just so quick to push a car on you. Anything to make a quick buck. I came across SMG's yelp page. It looked great. I saw that they have a LOT of good reviews along with another location in Newport Beach. I checked their website and saw they looked pretty legit and credible. So I called. No answer. I called again no answer. I thought to myself what's up with these guys. The phone recording says go to our website. I did. I filled out the form. (It was quick and easy). Then I get an auto response email sent to me!! I was like OK wtf... then I read it. It all made sense. I followed the protocol. Didn't want to give up my social so I paid the 150 retainer they charge. Boy was it worth it. I got a call back from Clyde. This guy knows his shit. And he likes to talk about cars. I mean. A LOT. You can tell he's passionate about what he does. He doesn't care about the money. He went off about this car and that car. I must have drove this guy crazy for a month. Lol. I was all over the place!! Finally we landed on an Audi A4 S line. Charcoal gray with nugget brown interior. I love my car. Clyde was the man. I will never talk to anybody again about cars but this guy. He's hard to get a hold of but once you do he can make miracles happen. He did for me. THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH!!! I ALWAYS read Yelp reviews. It's my go-to source for figuring out which businesses to patronize. I've been using Yelp for almost 10 years now. However, I have never ever once written a review before. I readily admit to being lazy and a free-rider in all of this. I have received great service and terrible service many times over but was never motivated enough to write anything about my experiences. Well, that's about to change now. I received such first-class service from SMG Auto Brokers that even despite my incredible laziness...... it would be outright criminal for me not to write about them...... because they deserve the praise and recognition. Before I went to SMG for help, I had personally called up every dealership in town. I also hit up all the swap leasing sites scouring for the best deals. All told.... this represented 2 or 3 weeks worth of work...... in total maybe about 30 hours of calling, meeting people, and test-driving cars. When I finally figured out the best deal I could possibly get, I thought what the heck..... give SMG a call and see if they could beat it. I didn't expect they could or would. So I called SMG, told them the deal I had, told them what I needed, and asked them if they could beat it. Sure enough..... within 3 hours they called me back telling me they had found a deal that was cheaper. Moreover, the car was better in the sense that it came in the unique and rare color that I wanted but found elusive in my search. If that wasn't enough, they then drove out to pick me up at my house and took me to where the car was located. They stayed with me at the dealership the whole time to make sure everything went smoothly. And then after I had signed, they walked me through the car and showed me all the tricks and gimmicks that came with my car. And then they threw in a free tint job. It's been a couple of weeks since I signed the lease, and they have followed up with me a couple of times to make sure I'm enjoying my new car. SMG is first-class all the way! No doubt about it. To think I could have saved myself all that trouble if I went straight to SMG from the get go. Ask for Arshag or Clyde. Either of them will treat you like a king or queen. read more

This was my first time using a broker, but I had been told that it was the best way to go. I reached out to SMG and got a response immediately from Clyde. Clyde stuck with me throughout the entire process. He was always available via text, call, or email and he always had the answer I needed. In regards to the industry itself and navigating for the best deals, this is your place. I got myself a brand new Grand Cherokee that came loaded with bonus features and got it for a very attainable price. I wasn't in the market for a Grand Cherokee at first due to the cost of them, but after I talked with Clyde, he told me he could find me one in my price range. To my heart's content, Clyde had a car available the very next day. To offer proof of how useful SMG is, I was looking for a cheaper car from the same exact dealership. Clyde was able to get me a better car at a price lower than the dealer was offering for the lesser product. Never underestimate the dealer's desire to screw you over. Finding you a deal is just one part of what makes the SMG experience so great though. I didn't have to speak to anyone at the dealership until I picked up my car. SMG handles the entire process. I showed up, signed the paperwork, and got the keys. Say goodbye to waiting for an hour for credit checks while you're withering away in some salesman's small office. It's really tough for folks to spend hours upon hours at a dealership or series of dealerships. We have work and family and kids and all manner of things to worry about. The time and energy saved by going through SMG is worth the price alone regardless of the price you pay for the car. Time is money, and this process is light years better than doing it on your own. Car shopping has never been so easy... I feel like after this experience, I will never want to go back to old style of buying cars... I didn't have to talk to / walk into dealerships to haggle with the sales person. But instead, I texted the awesomest guy, Jeff, to do all the negotiations for me. He asked for a quote (which I got from a solid koreatown broker who believes he's the demigod of auto sales), laughed at it and offered a bigger discount for the exact description of the car we wanted. By end of the negotiation, when we were exchanging some non-car-related talk, he overheard me talking about my wife's recent college graduation. He, then, immediately called the dealership to find out about additional $1000 off (on top of all that discounts that was applied during negotiations) for recent grads. This guy continuously looks out even when you think the negotiation part was done. At this point, I felt bad for reducing the price because it felt like they're not walking away with any money... All the negotiations were done during my work hours and when I got off I headed to have dinner with my wife. Jeff asked where we were having dinner, and he scheduled the car to be delivered in front of the restaurant. He scheduled it so that the dinner was not interrupted either. This guy knows exactly how to please his customers. The documents were signed within minutes and wife drove home with a brand new Lexus NX. These guys are hands down the best. You'd be stupid to try and buy a car on your own. These guys can get better pricing than the public because they work so closely with the fleet managers. The manager that just delivered my car basically admitted that. My first car with them was a BMW and I negotiated for weeks with multiple dealers. I called SMG and they got me the best deal with hundreds/month lower lease payments than I could get on my own. Today I took delivery of a very hard to get truck with limited production. The mark up is usually 5-10K over MSRP. Clyde was able to get a deal done in a few hours that saved me over 4K and had the car delivered to my home no problem. A few signatures and a cashier's check and that's it. No hidden fees and he looks out for you and your privacy. So easy and best car buying experience ever. If you are a serious buyer, scan Autotrader and find the cars you are interested in and the locations. Make sure you know what color and options you want. Don't bother calling first, just go to the SMG website and pay the retainer. It's only fair because nobody works for free. You are paying for their expertise and relationships. You pay hundreds but save thousands and get great service and delivery as well. They will call you right away and get started once you pay the retainer. If you have trouble ask for Clyde and he can help out with the other staff. I'm a busy professional and I will never buy a car the regular way again. I just bought a car (2017 Toyota Corolla) through SMG and had a very good experience. I worked with Neema. I had done research and had decided on what I was looking for before going to SMG. I talked with Neema and answered his questions (and he answered mine) and then he started his search. In a few days he called me with the dealership location of some cars that had the specs, and near specs, I was looking for. He planned my visit with the dealership and when I got there they had some cars ready for me to test drive. (The dealership was quite a large distance away -- I'm in Hollywood and the dealership is in Orange!! and it was rush hour, -- but it turned out to be worth it.) I made my decision while at the dealership and in another few days it was delivered to me. I decided to lease rather than purchase after Neema explained the pros and cons of each. I filled out the paperwork and wrote the checks at home when he delivered the car. Going through the broker enabled me to save $2k off the MSRP and also saved me a lot of time and work in finding the car on my own. Absolutely top notch!! My wife wanted a BMW 320i with an off color and only a few options. Two other brokers struck out, but Clyde took it as a personal challenge to find the car she wanted and he was all over it - always reachable by phone over the 4 days we were looking. He finally found a car in color we wanted in Fresno that had more options than we were looking for but the price he got us was so low for what it had that we were going to splurge. Then about 6:00 on July 31st called back and said he found a car with exactly the few options we wanted but it was black - our 2nd choice - for a price you'd expect to pay for a Honda but we had to close that night because the dealer was cutting his price to make a month end sale and the rate would go up on the 1st. We snapped it up and he sent one of his employees to our house with the paperwork at 10:30 so we'd qualify for the low price. He also helped up sell her current car thorough Carmax and pull out some equity, then met us at the dealer at 7:00 the next day - a Friday - to make sure everything was OK. My daughter needs a car at the end of the month and I have to replace my lease in Oct and we wouldn't go to anyone but Clyde read more

I just leased a 2015 328i BMW and I love my new car. It was so quick and easy to lease thanks to the help of Arlene. I wasted my time at a dealership for my sister's car and it was such a hassle and they continued to add more to the monthly payment. I have nothing but great things to say about SMG and, in particular, Alexander. Alexander and the SMG team got me the exact car I wanted at the price I was comfortable with and did so quickly. I truly appreciate all of Alexander's hard work and patience throughout the process, as I began my search with 3 different options and he bore with me as I sorted out which car was right for me. He was patient, communicative and helpful as I settled on my final choice. Once the final decision was made, we ran into several hurdles - lack of supply due to it being a brand new model (2016 Mazda CX 9 Signature Edition), dealership delays with installation of dealer options, etc. - and Alexander navigated each hurdle expertly.
