Bought a truck from Beboss Motors after I was specifically told it was a "great truck with no mechanical problems whatsoever." Within 2 months: rotors, alternator, radiator, control module, and thermostat all failed. Thousands in repairs. I called to give them a chance to make it right. The response: yelling, threats that he would "follow me everywhere" and "show me," then told "as is" means it's my problem now. California law doesn't let dealers hide known issues behind "as is." Vehicle Code § 11713.18 and the Consumers Legal Remedies Act require dealers to disclose material defects. An "as is" sale doesn't waive the implied warranty of merchantability when the dealer misrepresents the condition, per CA Commercial Code § 2314. Nothing was disclosed to me. The truck was misrepresented. I'm filing complaints with the CA DMV and Attorney General. Would not recommend. Save your money. read more

The Model Y they sold me had undocumented damage. Apparently it was submerged... Tesla voided my warranty and it was going to cost 13000 for repairs. Process took a while and I ended up taking a 30k loan out against my 401k because I was so stressed about the car I just bought being essentially totalled. Luckily I was sooooo fked over by this dealership the service center felt bad for me and they ended up replacing both drive units and they honored the warranty. Thank you Tesla. Cried for days. The damage was so bad they said it wasn't safe to drive. 5 stars to the Tesla service center, 1 star to Deboss motors. Shame on you, you should have known about this condition and disclosed it to me. Didnt think I would need a full (wheels off) 3rd party inspection from a place with such good reviews. They have 'a guy' to help fix stuff but it was very shady. Luckily I didn't have to go to him. Buy from Tesla directly or get a full inspection before buying a car from here because they were either negligent or liars about the pre existing damage. Either way never coming back here. read more

Very, very terrible customer service from the minute I went in trying to look at cars. The owner wants to argue not let you talk, ask questions or bring your own mechanic to scan the car After cutting through that red tape and his overpowering behavior I let that slide because I don't judge people that's God's job and I decided I did like the car overlooking the bad customer service and decided that we were gonna purchase a car and come back and do the deal. Came back to do the deal. Wanted to test drive the car again they would not allow you to test drive the car again. They said you only get one test drive on top of that after overlooking the first time we seen in the car the tire had a gas in it when the rubber was peeling off so I asked them were they replaced this tire? They said no Gave me an attitude and tell me that's cosmetic. I told them I need to put my newborn in my family in this car, and if that tire blows, I will sue you guys. The sun was very argumentative basically yelling at me talking just like his father talks, and then tells me that we're not selling the car anymore. They have a mechanic that they work with and gave me the address so I stopped by to ask the mechanic questions he wasn't there so I gave him a call. They were very upset when I came back. Questioning why I called the mechanic excuse me. I'm buying a car if I wanna test drive it multiple times I'd like to test drive it multiple times if I wanna call Mechanic that you work with I want to call the mechanic if I want to ask you about a tire that's got the rubber ripping off the side I want to ask you And because customer ask you those questions you want to deny the sale of the car and you will not fix anything wow. If you're gonna buy electric car from this company, do your due diligence have somebody come with you to check everything on the car software mechanical anything on the car because this feels like a big scam maybe that's why they didn't want me to drive the car again maybe that's why they didn't want me to ask certain questions, etc. etc. but I came all the way back From Los Angeles to Costa Mesa to purchase a car and all I wanted to do was test drive the car again look over the car again and make sure it was exactly what I needed for my wife, my elderly mother and my newborn because I cannot have them in a car That is going to have a faulty, suspension faulty tire something blows out and injures them Picture below is what I questioned about the sidewall of the tire like I said I'm putting my family in this car and this is when they got pissed because I said if this tire would blow out while my family is in this car, I will sue you guys and then they deny to sell me the car i've bought mini cars before and dealers would never put that on their lot with a sidewall tire peeling that is a safety hazard on any vehicle do your due diligence. I purchased a ford transit from them late last year, I do not recommend you buy here they sold me a lemon. The transmission blew not even 150 miles after costing upwards of 7000$ I called to try and make amends and solve the situation but every attempt was met with no answer and if they did it was sorry sold as is. Completely unacceptable and if you were to listen to any reviews let this be the one a scam of a dealership DO NOT BUY HERE, there are plenty of good dealers that would actually help you in the area take care and be safe with your purchases! EDIT: Look how they responded to this review as a business they decided to insult somebody and belittle them over a completely reasonable review I do agree the car was high in mileage but only 150 miles after purchase the transmission completely blew making it unusable. They don't push useless forced dealer ad ons like PPF, extended warranties, BS Security systems etc. The price you see is the price you pay. No hassle and no pressure to buy. This is rare in this day and age as too many dealers play too many games. Deboss was very honest and upfront. Family owned business with great service at point of sale. With very fast and efficient paperwork. After a quick test drive, we had finished the deal and under an hour. They applied the point of sale tax credit on the spot. The Model X they had was a great value They are very knowledgeable with Teslas and they were able to transfer ownership via the app to me on the spot. Cons: These are used cars. They are not flawless. The paint looked fantastic but the interior needs a deep clean. It's not bad by any means but the interior cleanliness definitely not up to par with what I would expect for buying a car off a lot but then again rock bottom pricing so my expectations were in line with what I received. No floor mats and no charger included was a surprise to me but I'm new to Teslas maybe this is the norm.
