They were very easy to work with. I love my 2010 IS250C! These cars are rare and with my car being under 100k miles, the price I paid beat all other cars that were for sale in southern California. They took care of replacing what needed to be replaced before selling it to me. Shawn is very responsive to calls and texts. Omar, call him, only (LOL). Gabe, is very responsive either way, so if you can't get a hold of Omar or Shawn, Gabe will help connect you with them. I would by another car from this dealership. I purchased an Audi about 2 weeks ago and 2 days after purchase, the vehicles' check engine light came on. I asked multiple times if the car was in good condition prior to purchase and they mentioned multiple times it was "In perfect condition". I took my vehicle to an Audi Dealer to check on the engine. The mechanics at Audi saw that the car has major ENGINE OIL Leaks and many other issues and was quoted over 7k to repair the vehicle. I reached out to our sales person, OMAR and he has been Unresponsive, COMMUNICATION at this dealer is awful! They also did not provide us all the information on the Warranty they sold us. We were not told we had to drive the vehicle for over 1k miles before we can use the warranty. We have reported this dealer to BBB and DMV and are looking at our legal options. Please be very careful when you buy a vehicle from these guys and especially when you end up having issues with the cars you buy from them. They will ignore your texts/calls whenever you want to get status on either the car or refunds on the warranties you bought from them. They keep telling us that insurance company hasn't sent them the refund but I talked to the insurance company and they sent dealership the money weeks ago. Based on the BBB reviews apparently they have an issue of keeping refunds from the warranties cancelled. It has been 2 months and so far the guy just has been giving us the runaround. And also having us sign a paper stating that we won't put a negative review because you threatened to keep my check without a notary or a lawyer is not legally binding. Went to see a car as advertised on line, looked exactly as it appeared which is what one would expect but not always the case. In late 2020 I bought a 328i coupe from these guys, and now thinking back on the whole interaction, I realized how shady these guys are/ were and how lucky I got. So from the start, we go to check out the car and it is beautiful just pristine and was sold to me as an "m package" while it was just the sport package no big deal just a little misleading. I am almost immediately convinced and I think Shawn was my dude that day who had me go on a "test drive" which was just a 3 minute drive to their separate office to do paperwork where he rode shotgun. No highway driving or anything over 35mph. I'm 19 at the time and didn't think much of it. So papers signed and I drive back to Bakersfield. Car runs great. 2 weeks later, VANOS timing bolts shear off the cams and fall into the engine, really bad noise, check engine light. I ask Shawn to help me out with the insurance claim and that's when I'm told I have to drive 1000 miles. Which is also the legal distance you'd have to drive before they can wipe their hands from any lemon law scam trouble. I know my fair share about cars at the time, I wasn't a complete idiot and I say no, I read into the contract its effective immediately. So I call insurance, they say nope not covered. (they don't cover anything, the insurance is a price hiker for dealer markup). Repair looks like about 2,700 dollars. Yikes! So this is where the dudes get to keep 2 stars. I ask for a cancellation and pro rata return on the insurance. It got transferred from the insurance company to the Bank to the dealer and via Venmo or some dumb money sharing app back to me. Which I was surprised, he did send me the money for the insurance cancellation. Now I got lucky because this car was the California SULEV model which had a 15 year 150,000 mile warranty on the cam shafts and all related sensors. pretty much everything on the car because its a super low emissions vehicle. So Bakersfield BMW hooked me up, Jim Linedecker got everything approved under warranty and I didn't pay a dime except for some extra work I requested. I mean that's also not something you can just know about and try to cover up until it screws over the buyer so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt here, cant really saw dust and egg yolk broken variable valve timing cams. So now its 2024, and its been the best car I've owned of 5 at 165k miles now (bought at like 95k (I know, I know). No thanks to these dudes. But yeah, if it weren't for good hearted people who know their stuff (bako bmw), I'd have been severely screwed financially super early into my adult life. So if you read this novel, the take away is its probably not smart to buy used european cars from small dealerships like this. But gambling is fun and you cant win if you don't play lmao. read more
