I bought a 2015 Ford Focus that OC Auto Guys advertised in the internet on 12/28/2019 had many photos of the exterior and interior of the vehicle. One photo shows the cargo area (hatchback) had a cover. Before I completed the deal I ask Shawn about the missing piece, he said probably the detailers removed to clean the car, but don't worry as soon as I find it I let you know. It is over a month and the part is nowhere to be found. A warning to prospect buyers make sure you get everything before you complete the deal. Also the car had a recall for the fuel tank deformation, I informed Shawn he told me I should take care of it and I did. The law stipulates that dealers should take care of any outstanding recalls prior to the sale. Before you buy a car check with nhtsa.gov/recalls and it's free. read more

I purchased a BMW 328i about 42 days ago. Today I took it in for an oil change and to have a burning smell inspected. I chose an independent shop by my house that has worked on our cars for years. After inspecting the Oil he noticed that oil was very dark and the oil filters was pretty bad and the fact that it had an oil change sticker reported that it was recently changed the mechanic said it was impossible that the oil had been changed. In addition, this the car has multiple oil leaks that have been around for sometime , Shawn (OC Auto Guys Salesman) mentioned to me how the auto shop inspects the cars to make sure they are mechanically sound "the car may have some cosmetic issues, but my guy makes sure its mechanically sound". My mechanic reported that he noticed oil is leaking from the pan itself and the oil filter gasket, adding on to this the radiator hose has been leaking for sometime. He also mentioned that thrust arm bushing is cracked and leaking. I did send an email to Shawn to make him aware that they may not be inspecting the vehicles fully and after he spoke in such high regard of the shop that inspects all of the vehicles.I was not going to write a review yet I thought about someone else getting stuck with a huge bill after purchasing a vehicle. I know the business of used auto sales the waters can be kind of murky. Yet I trusted his word on the inspection, I made the mistake by not having my shop look at the car. I am not sure if Shawn knew that the car had these issues, or the shop he uses to inspect the cars hid the issues. So I would suggest before you purchase the vehicle get it looked at or pay the 350 dollars to be able to return the car if you have second thoughts about your purchase. I waited two weeks for a reply to see if we could remedy the situation I got response that he would check with the mechanic and never heard back. read more

Horrible business ethics, Omar is a scammer and the people working with him know it too they played us about how they didn't have the keys and it's with Omar, then Omar tells us it's with them. Had a very bad gut feeling from the start and we were right, he called us over to the other office to do the paperwork and telling us how it's going to take 2 hours for the paperwork so they are going to detail the car for us, we said no but he insisted, kept talking to us trying to drag out time and not printing out paperwork for us to sign saying Westlake is an old bank and we can't do it electronically, printing papers doesn't take 2 hours. We went to get food but decided to go to their second address to check on the detail and how it's going. Good thing we did, caught them swapping out parts and he can't legally give us the car like that with a bad transmission or whatever he said, I asked when he was going to tell us he's having something switched out before or after signing all the papers. He freaked out and told us he's doing us a favor, I don't think so. I called him and told him all the reviews were right about him. Believe everything bad you are reading don't believe anything else, save yourself the stress and save your money and shop somewhere else don't even buy a toothpick from these PRICKS. When we get there we had about 2-3 people ahead of us but Sean asked which car we were there to see and he already had it warmed up ready to test drive. We sat down with Rush ( I think that's his name) and he was basically the finance guy that walked us through the paper work, the financing options and all the warranty information. While most people dread going to a dealership because they know they will be there all day I would say we were in and out in about an hour and a half. Because we were financing we needed to have insurance before we drove the car off the lost but Sean stepped right and gave us information for his insurance guy. My family and I recently bought a beautiful shiny new car (new to us anyways) The process couldn't be any easier. We logged on to TRUCAR.com saw our options, picked a good "reliable car" (after doing research) that was within our budget from a dealership with a 5 star rating, called the OC AUTO GUYS for an appointment for a test drive...signed on the dotted line and that was it... Happily ever after, we were... I thought. Right before we signed... our new IRONCLAD contract I had asked Shawn (A "*Distinguished Toastmaster") what if the car breaks down a week from now... he confidently reassured us that they have an extended warranty they offer with **AutoSave... So we bought the extended warranty. Driving the car to work and back home for 1 week we notice this car's transmission is failing...uh oh... So we called our new good friend at the OC Auto Guys (Shawn). Turns out he was no help. Thats funny because he was such a big help on showing us where to sign the contract... but ok no problem we have a Transmission warranty Shawn sold us... called and dealt with the warranty company "AutoSave". They told us they cant help us. Confused yet? Because we were. Apparently, problems with a broken transmission does not mean you can use a Transmission warranty. Pissed off feelings and adult bad words (insert here). I called Shawn again and explained the situation... Fast foreword 4 months later... Still paying on the car. Transmission still in pieces at the transmission shop. Warranty company saying too bad so sad. Shawn not returning any of my phone calls. Countless rental cars and Uber rides. Stressed out not knowing where our next ride is coming from or if I can afford it... this car situation has easily doubled in price. It all comes to fruition... The "OC Auto Guys" buy shiny pretty looking cars (good or junk). Then make all the junk cars look real tempting. Next they hired a smooth talker that gets you to agree that its a great car for a great price. They make it so easy to sign a contract. Then BOOM your now stuck between a rock and a hard place. Clever really, great way to make easy money from innocent people. I never seen a serpent smile but I'd guess it would look a lot like him shaking my hand after we signed the contract. What Im really saying is... If you want to take your chances and risk getting STUCK like us then the OC AUTO GUYS are for you. If you enjoy being taken advantage of by all means please look no further, you found your dealership. Not a good experience with OC Auto guys and I would definitely not recommend them to purchase a vehicle. I purchased the car just a few months ago with 69000 miles on it. I've only put 6,000 miles on the car. Since my purchase, I've had to get a massive oil leak fixed. My fob stopped working and so I had to purchase a new fob from Mercedes. And now, my rear brakes are shot along with struts and shocks all need to be replaced. read more

So I was just told after 3.5 months of waiting for my tags and registration, That their only responsibility is to transfer the car in my name. So since I received the title from DMV, they feel they are not responsible for the registration or tags. This experience has been the worst ever. They told me they would send a temp registration on Jan 7th and Im still waiting. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE.
