I showed up the next day, and took the car to get inspected at a local mechanic shop. The inspection proved the car to be good for purchase, and I went to my bank to get a cashier's check. The staff here took care of all the paperwork, and got me going in my new car in a very short amount of time. Fast forward a few weeks, and I asked them to help me expedite the arrival of my permanent plates, as I had temp (paper) plates at the time. They were able to pull some strings and get me my permanent plates within a few days. These guys are on point. This is the most seamless car purchase that I've ever had. With Governor Gavin Newsom recently signing the California Combating Auto Retail Scams (CARS) Act into law to improve pricing transparency, this kind of experience is especially disappointing. They sold it to us without guarantee; however, we were under the impression that the cars would, at the very least, be inspected by Case Motors for issues before being sold. Not even three months in, the car is having issues. It started randomly revving and having acceleration/gear shifting issues. We took it to the dealership, and the car needs new crankshaft sensors, corroded cables due to an old battery leaking, and a new transmission. It's about $6000 all together. We have contacted Case Motors, talked to Ashley, and set her a video of the car doing what it shouldn't be doing. She said she would show it to Justin and get back to us, but we have never heard back from them. We are considering our legal options. A $9000 car shouldn't last only 3 months.
