So far terrible, saw a vehicle online contacted dealer, everything felt weird, nothing upfront, no attention to detail, finally get sent the same info I already have ???, next got hit with almost $5,000 over asking, when asked for breakdown, everything I read here on the reviews is true, they are FORCING ancillary (aftermarket) products on purchase orders, non negotiable which by industry standards and state consumer laws is an illegal and highly unethical practice. I know of at least a dozen dealerships that have been sued for this, all aftermarket products are optional, no dealer can force a potential buyer to have them. Went in to purchase a vehicle, at first everything seemed good but the vehicle was making a banging sound every time you'd stop and go. I was told it would be fixed so I decided to move forward. Filled out credit app, had money down and was told that it was declined almost immediately. No bank ever ran the credit except them in house, immediately they asked for 60% down and when I declined communication ceased. Text messages and phone calls not returned. Nice cars, but sales skills and customer service suck. Check your car for defects and mammals sure you get everything in writing. Went to the lot located on Katella on Mar 18 2025 to look at a used Tundra with a price of $31,998 that has been sitting on the lot for over 5 months. Didn't ask for a discount but somehow the out the door price went to over $37000. $1000 for LoJack, $500 for Auto Ally. Some clear paint protector apparently was applied to a 70k mile truck. i asked to remove to lojack and auto ally and we would have a deal. They claim that it is company policy that these items cannot be removed. Just for anyone reading this, A dealer cannot require you to purchase aftermarket items. Auto Ally is a BS insurance in the event the vehicle is stolen. LoJack is an auto tracking device, once again in the event the vehicle is stolen. This dealer will scam you!! Buyer beware!! I guess for a dealer that sells 50-60 cars a month allegedly in the middle of OC they should buy their cars better so they dont need to pack the back end with $4-5k of crap which is against the law BTW. read more

Went to look at a car with a specific listed price. When they come back out with the out of door cost, they have tons of ad ons  that you're not allowed to opt out of. It's a complete scam. They draw you in with LO advertise price, but you're not able to opt out of add-ons that you don't want. Trying to charge $500 for PPF just on the door handles. Not 1 person who works there is over age of 30. With a good deal and an attentive salesman, I literally would have walked out of there with a new truck and somebody would be going home with a commission. I'll go elsewhere. read more

I had to ask the guy to stop what he was doing and not affect my credit. Randy helped me out and I honestly don't think it was him, I know that it was his higher-ups who were pressuring him to do things that weren't the best. It's Covid so there is a shortage of cars/stock available and they know that so they're going to milk you for everything they can and by milk I do mean milk you for every single cent you have. The car was a certain price and after I asked for the taxes and fees they jumped up $10,000. They tried to hit me for low-jack and some clear coat protection bullshit that is mandatory and not optional. Then the worst of them all was they were charging me $3000 for something at the car doesn't even have an asked me to bring it back whenever the item arrives. I asked them to deduct that from the overall price and they said all they could do is $500. I'm reviewing this after a few years of owning this car. This is genuinely a terrible car and not because it's a Jeep. When I first got in the car to drive it home, I noticed it was locking and unlocking on its own. I went back inside to tell someone about this and they told me it was fine. Three hours later, I have to call triple A because the battery died. I take it in to get it fixed the next day and then the left blinker gives out the next week so I have to take it in all over again. We haven't had a technical problems since then but the car is not in the best condition. We bought it with worn brake pads and a rusted engine compartment, and it's already starting to burn oil. I had just turned 18 when we got the car so I didn't know to check these things. There was also at least $3k in additional dealers fees that were most definitely not necessary. I recommend not going to this establishment because they most likely will scam you. The only good thing about this experience is that now I know to check everything myself because dealers surely won't do it themselves. read more

Bought a 15 tahoe at this place. all good until i needed to use the AC in the warm days of April so AC Doesn't work and with the cold days of Oct/March no need for it. Called them and they said it's too long ago since i bought the vehicle also noticed it's missing a seat since I don't seat in the back I didn't notice till I needed to fold seats up. They Wont fix the AC. was also told truck was normal height n it turns out it's lowered. Will get things fixed at another reputable place. Please avoid this dealer One their lack of communication Them not taking me seriously because I am a female. The scam in their prices. Please be expecting to pay about 2000 over what the price ticket is just in their LoJack and their auto detailing that they put in every single car. And their energy that they give as if they don't like to help customers they just want the money. When I first called to ask about a vehicle that I seen I asked a question. They told me they would give me a call back with the answer. Never did I wasn't going to pursue the vehicle. However I did get reached out via email by someone in the office and I let them know that I'm not interested in it because it doesn't seem like it has a spare tire and they reassured me that If the only reason I'm not seeing the vehicle is because it doesn't have a spare tire that they will give me a spare tire if I purchase the vehicle at no cost So naturally I went in to view the vehicle. I got approached by someone named Tito and he did not seem interested to help at all. I asked for the vehicle and he then had someone bring out the 2013 FJ I was looking at. Another male took his place and I was going to go test driving with David. Before hopping into the car he told me hey this is a manual car. Can you drive it? Obviously I read the details and I knew what vehicle I was looking at. Of course I was able to drive a manual car. It's just very sexist and insulting just because I am a female that they assume I won't be able to drive a manual I took a couple days to think about it. Because of their low jack and wax auto detail adding a couple more hundreds dollars. But then finally made the decision to purchase the vehicle. However when it came down to signing I told them if I can take one more look at it and he assured me that the vehicle was outside. I told him it doesn't have a spare room and I was promised to spare The loan officer. I believe that's who he was petre had no idea what they were talking about and he was expecting me to dry out off the vehicle as is. There's no communication at this dealership within each other and the customers A big deal was made and they told me okay. If it has a spare then it's going to have to have the camera removed. I said okay if the spare is added and the camera needs to remove. Can you please give me the camera they agreed and they said that was fine. However, later on I was told that they were ordering all the parts they needed for the spare includes being able to have the camera and the spare both attached onto there. So then I was under the impression that the spare and the camera were broke going to be coming with the vehicle. Long story short, it took almost 2 months for me to finally get a spare. And when I get the spare I was told that no camera will be with it and that the camera that told me I could have if it had no camera attached to it. The one they removed from the vehicle they told me they no longer have it so I won't be getting that either. Letting Petrie know the false all the back and forth what does dealership has been impossible and a huge headache. And he then He went and told me that the spare and the tire .. as if I am getting something thrown in my face that THEY promised. My best advice is do not come to this dealership at all. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! THEY ARE FRAUDS! I went to test drive a car last week, trying to find a car for my daughter. When I turned the car on the CHECK ENGINE light was on. I said, nevermind, no thanks. The sales rep told me that it was because he went to get gas earlier and forgot to put the gas cap on. He said he would have his mechanics run a diagnostic and send me the results. The next day he texts me a pic and it is just typing of stating the gas cap was off and they cleared it. So I paid to have the car taken to an actual Subaru dealership, and do an inspection. I paid $225 out of pocket. Subaru tells me everything is fine, so I purchase the car. But they had already cleared the check engine light notification. There is one form that asks if you want to purchase an extra contract to be able to return the car in 48 hours. I didn't understand the form and I asked Fernando my sales rep, he said that it was about returning the car in 48 hours. He never explained that I had to purchase an extra contract to have that option. We take the car home that night, and the next day the CHECK ENGINE light comes on again. It's Saturday, I ask if they can pay $195 to have the car taken to a Subaru today to run a diagnostic on the check engine light. They say no, that my only option is to take it in on Monday and have their mechanics run a diagnostic again. I ask GUS, what good is that? They already supposedly ran a diagnostic. HE SAYS, A CAR IS A MACHINE, THEY ARE UNPREDICTABLE. I mention that I have 48 hours to return the car, he says I didn't purchase the ability to do that. He says I should've read the contract, that it's self explanatory and easy to understand. So pretty much telling me you're shit out of luck, you should've read the contract. My daughter worked to save up as much money as she could for the down payment on her first car. I am a single mom and saved money to help her. This is why I never go to used car dealerships. They're scumbags that you can never trust. I will never go to a used car dealership again. Please save yourself the hassle or frustration and please don't go to this place. My husband and I unfortunately had a nightmare experience here and I would never write a negative review until speaking directly with a manager first but not one person reached out to us after our clutch exploded 24 hours after purchasing our vehicle from here. We were sold a manual Jeep Wrangler that had an open recall on the clutch for overheating and exploding as well as a STOP SALE issued by the FCA but were still sold this car. My two kids and husband had the clutch explode on the freeway the second time we drove this car. After having it towed back to Auto Republic less than 48 hours after, we were met with blame and a service center claiming it was user error. Not one manager called us to ask if we were physically ok or willing to take responsibility for this issue that was directly a result on the open recall.
