I brought in my 2022 Mazda Model 3 sedan which had a collision to the right front bumper causing it to separate from the fender. Lawrence Rhee General Manager, approached me and said it is relatively minor damage and that he could fix it right there. He gently pushed against the fender until the crease went away and pulled the bumper edge outward until it lined up flush against the fender. He did some other work quickly and finished after I came back from lunch. I couldn't believe my eyes! I got three other quotes up to $2600 requiring to replace the bumper and paint the fender to match! The car is over 5 years old but the entire body is in great shape. I wasn't looking for a perfect repair. Lawrence at the start asked if I wanted a perfect restoration or something reasonable. I definitely wanted something reasonable because I didn't want to go through my insurance company for an aging car. After he finished the repair, you can't even notice any damage. I wish more body shops were more honest like Signature Auto body. Last thing, I plan to come back with my other car that needs more extensive work but at least I know I'm dealing with someone who I can trust! :) read more

I brought my car in because the plastic part on the bottom front of my car was damaged (probably from parking) and even though I pushed it up, it dangled to the ground. I was told I can replace the whole part, or he can fix it temporarily for me first. Then after 10 minutes or so I was told that a replacement for now is not necessary and I should be good to go. Recently as I was checking my tire air pressure one morning, I noticed the paint/clearcoat was flaking from the inner edge of the rear bumper, facing the rear tire on the passenger's side. The bumper was repainted by Signature Autobody in summer of '21. Upon closer examination, there was noticeable bubbling coming from underneath the paint. Strangely enough, this was only happening on that one side. The same area on the driver's side was normal. No bubbling/flaking at all. Contacted Signature and sent pictures via email. Allen responded and said this was "normal wear and tear" from driving and rock chips and there's nothing wrong with the paint work. Really dude?! Does this guy try to gaslight/BS every customer like this? When asked why the other side doesn't exhibit similar peeling, or why the front bumper which has rock chips doesn't peel or bubble he had no answers. Realizing that Allen is only there to answer phones and lie to customers, I asked him to forward the pictures to the owner Lawrence. The following day, Lawrence sends me an email stating he agrees with Allen's assessment and that this is normal damage from rock chips and that they've seen this on their customers' vehicles before. He offers to speak over the phone regarding the matter. My husband called him back and the conversation did not go well. Lawrence's tone is immediately defensive and condescending. Lawrence called us "bad customers" since apparently he doesn't like negative feedback and sarcastically offered a free car wash as a remedy for the peeling clearcoat. Keep in mind, we did not even ask him/them for anything; We just wanted to know why this was happening to the paint, which they provided no answers for. I'm certain they knew that the bubbling and peeling finish is due to poor QC, but they refuse to take accountability. Signature Autobody obviously doesn't stand behind their work and once they have your money, they'll tell you to go pound sand. The owner's rude, dismissive, and condescending attitude (after he's already been paid) makes it clear that he cares only about profit. Quality of work, customer service and integrity mean nothing to him. I ended up taking my car to the local Lexus collision center and they looked at the bubbling and flaking paint on the rear bumper and concluded it was from improper prep when the paint job was originally done. The bumper wasn't sanded properly in that area, which caused poor paint adhesion, leading to durability issues. The rock impacts from driving accelerated the wear in that area, but the root cause is poor workmanship by the shop that did the paint job. Signature Autobody flat out refuses to bear any responsibility, and they've already stated they don't want to hear from me any further, so I will just post this as a caution and warning to anyone considering bringing their car to Signature Autobody for repairs. read more

Recently took my BMW F80 M3 here for a rear bumper repair after being rear-ended. Not only did they go above and beyond in repairing the trunk, but they even found regions where there were imperfections after the accident that I had no idea were there until they pointed it out. Only partially repaired my car, I expressed my request prior to dropping the car off of 3 major dents/scratches/fitting issues . All of which were ignored and I when I was told pick my car up i showed up Only to be told it's complete with misfiitting dash board parts and a 10 inch scratch... terrible attention to detail. I was driving home from work on the freeway and another car ran into a pipe which spun in the air and struck my vehicle. The damage was extremely stressful to deal with as it suddenly forced me to reschedule my clients and of course is just an overall headache to deal with. AAA recommended me to Caliber Collision, but upon checking out their reviews I realized they were not specialists, especially when it came to the paint color matching. A friend just got work done here recently and recommended me to go here instead. His professionalism and transparency alone made me quickly feel like I was in good hands and it took off a large burden of my stress away. He continued to call me throughout the weeks of fixing my vehicle to update me and I never had to go about inquiring on my own with things. Anytime I began wondering on the progress of the fix, Alan would just magically call me. I think I am definitely a client for life and can certainly see myself returning for stuff outside of just your typical Insurance job. When I saw my car, it was so new my jaw dropped. Stand up guys... shot them an email and received a message the following day. Dealt with Allen via email where we worked out the details. I messaged around 5 or so shops and Signature had the lowest quote, almost by double compared to a couple of other shops. I drove all the way from Glendale to have a front lip, side skirts, rear bumper valences and spoiler cap installed for my 2021 SQ7. Dropped my car off at 0900 and everything was done by 3. I installed a hitch onto my Tesla Model Y myself and needed help putting the car back together. I felt so weird asking for help. Allen never made me feel uncomfortable and his team put my car back together in under an hour! I'd have attached pictures, but the car looks like it came back from the factory, so there's nothing to show! Communication was A+. I also need to add that I'm a soccer mom. Poor service when i walked in. I got 4 quotes today to getting my car fixed and the other 3 were in same ballpark then i got a quote from signature and it was $4,000 more than every other shop and was gonna take 8 days longer to fix. I can understand $500 more maybe even $1,000 if it really is quality craftsmanship but $4,000 more was insane. I told Him i was paying cash too out of pocket not from an insurance company!
