I recently bought an absolutely beautiful Tesla Model S in the certified preowned market. They are awesome! I used Dan the Bumper Man almost a decade ago for mobile paintless bumper repair and was extremely happy with Dan's expertise and professionalism. Over the years I used him a couple of times for minor bumper/fender repairs (popping out dents). Fast forward to the present (almost a decade later)... my neighbor's dad backed his car up and grazed the front bumper on my Subaru. Just cosmetic damage. I went on Yelp and got quotes for repairs and was quoted between $400-$1400 by local shops for repairs. Most required dropping off the car for a few days. I remembered Dan the Bumper Man and saw he had paint repairs as well and called for a quote and appointment. I found out Dan actually sold his company back in 2018 to Auto Cosmetic Solutions (also highly rated on Yelp), so i filled out their online quote form with pictures of the damage. I was contacted promptly and given a quote of $475 (+4% for credit card payment) for repair/painting. Scheduling was pretty easy and they actually were able to come out the next morning. Cesar was the tech who did the repair. He was a few minutes early to our 8:30am appointment and friendly and professional. He spent a good amount of time prepping and masking the bumper and sanded down the scratches. He color matched the paint and airbrushed and blended the damaged area. He also filled in some rock chips in the same area free of charge! He finally put a new clearcoat layer over the repaired area and used a heat gun to speed up the drying process as we were outside. The total time spent on site was approximately 1.5 hours and my bumper looks better than before. Verdict: I think it is definitely worth having your daily driver vehicle repaired by Dan the Bumper Man or Auto Cosmetic Solutions (same company). - Professional technician who takes pride in a job well done. - Great solution for daily drivers who can't afford to leave their car in the shop for days. They will come out to your house or business. - Price is reasonable for the work done Note: since this is a mobile service, your bumper is not getting painted in a paint booth and the area that is worked on is localized to where the damage is so it is not your entire bumper being painted/sanded. I called due to being side swiped in a parking lot on the rear quarter panel of our Audi Q7. It had a lot of scratches and deep gouges in both the quarter panel and the wheel arch.
