I contacted them about buffing out some paint transfer and touching up small chips on my bumper. They quoted $140-160 for buff and touch up. I asked if they could do $140 and they agreed. Fine. Then they sent me their booking link and told me to select the service we agreed on. When I opened their booking site, the exact same service ("Buff and touch up") was listed at $95-$120 on their own website. So I told them, it says 95-120 on your site, I'll pay $100. Their entire response: "I'll go ahead and cancel the appointment for you." That was it. No explanation for why the quote was $40+ higher than their own published price. I never even completed the booking, so there was nothing to cancel in the first place. Also worth noting, for this service YOU have to provide your own touch up paint. So the $140-160 doesn't even include materials. If the real price is $140, list it as $140. Don't publish $95-120 and quote people higher, then drop them the second they notice. Check their booking site before you agree to anything with them. UPDATE: Responding to the owner's reply Their response actually proves my point, so let me go through it. They now claim the $95-120 price is for "a single, standard touch-up spot only" and that my job needed "extensive buffing" across "multiple areas." Look at my photos. It's two small chips and some light scratches on one corner of one bumper. That's the whole job. If that counts as a comprehensive multi-area service, I don't know what a minor one looks like. Also, that "single spot only" condition doesn't exist anywhere on their booking page. Screenshot attached. The listing literally says "Buff and touch up minor excess paint and scratches" for $95-120. Nothing about it being limited to one spot. They came up with that after I pointed out the price difference. And here's the part their reply skips over. They sent me the booking link themselves and told me to "Select Your Service and the Quoted Price Range we agreed upon." I opened it, picked the service that matches my repair, and it was listed $40-65 below their quote. If that listing didn't apply to my job, why send me there to book it? They also say they "chose not to push a service" out of respect for my budget. What actually happened is I offered $100, which is within their own listed range, and the entire response was "I'll go ahead and cancel the appointment for you." No counter. No explanation. Nothing. I never said a service was performed. My review is about the pricing, and their reply just showed it again. Photos of the actual damage are attached. Look at the photos and tell me that's a multi-area job. One last thing. Mistakes happen and if they had just said "you're right our listing is confusing, let's figure this out"I honestly would have let it go. Instead they quoted above their own listed price, and when I pointed it out, dropped me instantly. Then in their public reply, they called it a "misunderstanding" and invented a condition that exists nowhere on their site. They have great reviews and their work might be good. But if a business plays games with pricing and then can't just own it when caught, how do you trust anything else they tell you? Get everything in writing with these guys, compare it against their own booking site, and decide for yourself. read more
