Pricing was pretty fair and Honorio was very meticulous when it came to getting all of the details right. I only discovered it once I got home. When I confronted the shop owner, Pat, he admitted to the damages but communication from that point on became challenging and more difficult than it needed to be. There were long gaps without his response and at times the tone felt dismissive or unnecessarily tense, which made the situation even more stressful. I've made many attempts to work with Pat to find a fair and reasonable solution. To this day, I'm actually still waiting for a reply to my last message asking again to discuss a reasonable solution. After repeated non-responses and apathetic communication, it became clear that no compromise would be reached. The only option he is willing to offer is the one solution I clearly stated I'm not comfortable with: bringing my car back this same shop that damaged it in the first place. Given the damages my car received from 5 Stars Automotive, my hesitation is understandable. I even tried to negotiate a different solution by providing multiple repair estimates from other reputable auto shops and he responded by calling this practice "dishonest" (very ironic, I know). I'm leaving this review because I believe it's important to be transparent about my experience. I put my trust in this shop to restore my car's appearance, but instead I'm forced to deal with additional damages they caused.

Buddy Paint's estimate was about 20% higher, but I still decided to go with Buddy's because of the 5-Year material & labor warranty (the other company did not offer any warranty) and the feedback from the customer I spoke to. They were able to help me with my smog check and let me know what was wrong with my truck all the way around. I needed an oil change and they took care of it no problem. Also was able to tell me which tire pressure sensor was bad and was able to tell me about my stability track. On top of all of that they topped off all my oil and fluids. Check all of my filters. It was just a really good experience that I haven't had from a repair shop in a very long time not even the dealer does it like that anymore. I really appreciate how transparent they are. My experience with DJ's Paintless Dent Removal was a great one. I read all of the reviews and decided to stop by to receive an estimate for a door ding I received on my 2017 Camaro 2SS. I was quoted at other places for $600, and Danny quoted me for 1/5th of the price. He kept the process straightforward with me. He told me the ding might not be able to come out 100% since it was a bit deep, but will come out close to 95%. Not only did he take care of the ding, he delivered the 100%! You can't even tell there was a ding there in the first place and he even went above and beyond and fixed other imperfections free of charge! I was taken care of by kind professionals. I went around getting quotes from a few different shops, and most places were charging around $1,200 just to replace the front bumper and another $150-$300 to repair the skid plate. When I came to LA Collision Xperts, Gary and his team took the time to actually look at the issue underneath the car. They spent about 30 minutes checking it out and ended up simply clipping the skid plate back into place -- and didn't charge me anything for it. They also gave me a very competitive price of $700 to replace the front bumper. The repair took about a day and a half, which was partially my fault since I brought the car in late. To top it off, Gary even waited after hours the next day so I could pick up my car. Overall, I really appreciated their honesty, fair pricing, and willingness to help instead of charging for unnecessary repairs.
