One thing I didn't like is that vehicles are transferred to other Caliber Collision locations just to have estimates completed, rather than everything being handled in one place. That process felt inconvenient and unnecessary. Ultimately, I decided not to have my vehicle repaired here due to the high cost of the estimate. The office staff is the worst I have ever dealt with. The receptionist is lazy and doesn't know or want to help at all. Called on a Tuesday to ask about their hours and if they did estimates she stated they closed at 5:30 and the latest you could come in was 4:30 for estimates. Went in the next day at 4:20 she says oh no if you want an estimate you have to have an appointment for anything after 4pm. I said well I called yesterday you never mentioned anything. Fine whatever I said ok can I make an appointment for tomorrow at 4:30 she says yes .. I arrive at 4:0O she says oh sorry we can't do it I said why I have an appointment she right away states well I called you which is a LIE I never got a call from her much less a voice mail as she stated. I asked to talk to the manager who was of no help and backed up what her lazy co-worker in the front said. She offered to take pictures but couldn't do anything for me because she had no staff to do it. I said how can you waste my time a potential customer you don't care have me coming multiple times coming in for no reason and not providing correct information then LIYING to put the cherry on top of this is how they do business then they certainly won't have mine. read more

Some thief busted out my cars driver window while i was in the store for 10 minutes. Nothing to take, but now I need a window. I called AAA for guidance and they told me they can't help because my deductible was over what their computers said it should cost. I asked them to give me, at least, a referral for a shop in my city that does this. Cliber popped up. I called them (I think they are nationwide because the person I talked to sound like from the south) and we worked it out. BTW, thier cost was half of what AAA said it should cost. Young man showed up the next day (maybe Jose?) to my house, did the job in less than an hour, and it was perfect. So no complaints and a good lifetime warranty. I hit rear quarter panel on my Honda CRV, and did some real damage, so I took my CRV to Caliber collision in Downey where I left with them for 3 weeks, they did a really good job in repairing that section of the CRV. They also had to repaint the rear quarter panel after the replacement of the rear quarter panel. I only had to take it back to them once to fix the warning light issue. I have been to this location multiple times, for different car accidents and each time I have had nothing but great experiences. Denise, Kenia, and Guy all were such great help! This past time I took in my 2025 honda odyssey, and they were able to get it painted and looking brand new again! Wished I would have had a better experience or just gone somewhere else. Progressive recommended I come here so I just decided to go with their first option and recommendation. Caliber Collision guaranteed me a tow truck...who then cancelled on me and scheduled for the next morning. Next morning they scheduled another tow truck who bad mouthed the collision repair place and just caused me anxiety. I still decided to come here. My partner visited the shop to point out all damages. He EMPHASIZED a metal piece in the tire among other damages. He even joked with the employee of how bad it would be if the tire was missed. About two weeks later I was told my vehicle was finished. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it took to repair. I paid $40 for an uber to get to the collision place to pick up my vehicle and planned to head to work afterwards. I was charged immediately , and asked for a receipt. The receptionist couldn't figure out how to print out a receipt for the $2500 I paid. I waited in the lobby for about 30 minutes waiting for her to figure out how to print out a receipt. She received 4 phone calls while trying to print and it was just her arguing with her son to make sure he goes to school. I thought that was so unprofessional especially when you're on the clock. Even the employee Guy and I looked at eachother all awkward, like is this really going on? I literally gave up on the receipt and just asked Guy to walk me over so I won't be late to work. First thing I wanted to check out was the tire. Everything is cosmetic so I just wanted to ensure the tire was fixed. It appeared that the tires was polished. I bent down and found that the tire was never replaced , there was the same metal piece, wires showing, and hole in the tire. I'm so glad I checked it as keys were already given to me. I'm 8 months pregnant and was about to drive 20 miles to work. I literally could have gotten into an accident and killed myself and my child on the way to work had I not double checked the same damage that was pointed out two weeks prior on arrival. Guy felt a little guilty and offered to replace it asap. I was upset I had to uber back home and be late to work but more importantly upset of the potential danger I could have been in on the missed repair. Guy asked the receptionist to call me an uber back home. The receptionist asked a kid from the shop to drive me back home in their pick up truck. Frightening to say the least. Vehicle was picked up later that day. They said they would conduct a follow up call in a week to see how my car was doing. I never received a call and it's been 2 months since my repair... I brought my 2020 Honda Civic hatchback after it got damaged in a parking lot. There was a large deep gash in the rear passenger side quarter panel. I was a little hesitant to take it to Caliber as my boyfriend and I had a completely horrendous experience at another location last year. I was super happy I did. Everyone was kind, personable, and helpful. The communication was constant and I never had to wonder what was going on with my car. It was also ready earlier than expected. The workmanship was unmatched and that part looks brand new again. They had great attention to detail and replaced the clear plastic protective covers on the side of the door. After multiple phone calls and my attempt today to try and get the process started on the repairs for my car, they barely decided to tell me today that they can't service my car because they aren't Jeep or Aluminum certified! This is something that could have been communicated from the very first call I had with them earlier this month! This is a hungry team that wants to win. Ana, you're a pro, if this was my shop, I would hire people like you, thank you. Lupe at the front desk, very helpful and friendly. The work that was done, it was fabulous, above perfect. How do you get above perfect? Lol, Well I'm glad you asked; by going out of your way to do extra stuff like readjusting my bumper, keeping me informed every step of the way, getting the work done much faster than estimated, and giving the car back with a fresh wash. The quarter panel and door not only look new but also match the rest of the car.... You have a great team! I'm also putting this up on yelp:) I should have mentioned this also... because the shop is aligned with AAA the prices are guaranteed and the work is guaranteed for as long as I own the car.
