Took my car here through insurance for a rear end accident. They put the old liner in the trunk but still charged me for a new one. Was told car would take 3 weeks. Took 3/4 months with 0 communication. Always told they are waiting on parts. Seems like they do it on purpose for storage fees. They also replaced 3 lights out of 4. It doesn't match the new ones. Went back and told them I got charged 13k and taillights don't match. They want to charge me to swap into original ones. Horrible service all around. Take your care elsewhere and save yourself the headache. Was hoping they would make it right & they didn't. read more

Bellflower Collision was recommended to me by my housemate after she had work done here, stating, "These guys are amazing!" Fortunately, it was also a AAA-certified facility! The process was relatively easy, but it was drawn out. I came on my day off because this place is only open M-F from 09:00-16:30, which essentially are my work hours, making it challenging to actually visit the shop. They take a bunch of photos and send an estimate to the appraiser at the insurance (AAA). The waiting game begins. Even though I was told it typically takes about 3 days to hear back, I actually didn't get a call/email until 2 weeks later. When I finally got to drop my car off, it did take longer than the initial estimate, but the work was excellent. They replaced my back bumper, fixed my back gate, and even buffed out some branch scratches! The communication could have been better, as I had to wait an extra weekend before I could pick up my car because no one called me to tell me it was ready. However, the quality of the service cannot be denied. My car looks brand new! Scott and his staff are a great family of workers who care about the work they do, sans the young kid who was recently hired for detailing. Everyone else seems superb! These people are the best! From Liz and Jesenia in the front office, to Steve and Scott, the brothers who own the business, I've been so lucky that my Honda service advisor, Trevor Rodriguez, recommended them. When I drove up, Steve came out to greet me. I showed him my messed up mirror and the side of my car that had a big scrape on it. He wanted to try to buff out the scrape for me. It looked like new and he didn't charge me a penny for it. He gave me a very reasonable estimate on replacing the passenger side mirror. For only a $200 deposit, he ordered me a used one. (This wasn't an insurance claim!) When it came in, he checked to see if it was the correct one. It needed to be painted, so he didn't keep my car that day, but told me to come back the next day. I thought I'd have to leave my car for a day or two and had planned accordingly. The next morning, I went in. While I waited, he had it fixed, and it was done in about half an hour. It works perfectly! The icing on the cake was that it didn't have to be programmed after all, so he didn't charge me for that, and my final payment was significantly lower than I had been told originally. They could've charged me the first amount and I never would've known, but they are so honest that they passed along the savings to me! Please take your car to these folks! You'll be SO glad you did! Be prepared to wait. And wait. and wait. And get no updates ever. I've had service done at other collision centers and by far for Toyota, I've really liked Penske Toyota collision center in Downey. My daughter's car was rear ended at a very low speed and it truly seemed like very little damage. My insurance processed my claim and recommended a "preferred" location which would guarantee repairs for a lifetime. Which almost 99.9% of shops do. Anyhow, I had an appointment with a Toyota but canceled as my agent said it would be a faster process to go to a "preferred" shop, so I went ahead. First of all the girls who answer the phone are rude and always seemed bothered with having to answer the phone. That should have been my first sign. I let them know from the get go that we did not have. Rental and my daughter was sharing my car as needed so we were hoping it wasn't too long. Came in for an appointment to take pictures on Thursday April 11. Only to be told I have to wait for them to get the ok from insurance and they will call me back. This they NEVER DO. They never call you back when they say they will. I had to call back in the week and ask for update. Again bothered gals said oh yes, you can drop the car off Monday. So there goes a wasted week of time. I asked if they had an idea how long it would be. Nope. Can't say. I said for a rear bumper cover with very litro damage can someone guess? She then came back and said it should only be 3-4 days. So I went along and dropped the car off being that they said 3-4 days and the fact that we did not have a rental and we were also leaving town and would not be available to pick up from the 1st to the 5th. Again they said they would call me tomorrow once car is torn down to have a true update. Again, they never called me back. I had to call them on Wednesday. One of the brothers Scott tells me they had to order a new bumper, and it just arrived "today" so it will now be 3-4 days. I told him I was leaving town and my only point was, if it's not gonna be ready by Tuesday, I will not be able to pick it up til the following week. He Said no, no problem it should be ready by Monday or Tuesday. I will call you with an update. Again no update call ever happened. So once again I call back and the bothered phone lady says, we are waiting for your bumper. I said well Scott told me it had arrived on last Thursday. So she puts him on the phone and he back peddles and says, no, I ordered it Thursday. If it comes today or tomorrow it will 2-3 days from then. He says yet again, I will call you with an update. Can you guess? Yep, no update ever. I left on my trip Wednesday morning. Was gone for five days. Never got any updates. I call Monday 3 weeks after initial appointment for pictures, and I ask what time will my car be ready for pick up. The lady outs me on hold and says you can come at 4p. I said Ok To my surprise. I get a call at 130p saying car was ready for pick up. When we get to the shop at 230p, they are still working on it I guess putting the final touches. It was not until this pint and after the 3 week ordeal that the brothers tried to be somewhat nice. They did offer to "Buff" my car's headlights as they were oxidized. And it made a big difference to the headlights. The work looks good. 5 stars on the work. Would I return? No. But the work was 5 stars? Yes, but I can't stand the lack of customer service as well as the lies, back peddling, and run around we got from the initial 3-4 days estimate turning into a 3+ week total ordeal. Just say you need a month's time, then over deliver with a shorter time. Don't say 3-4 days if it's gonna be 3 weeks. That simple. read more

When I first took my car to this shop for an estimate, I was told that I would have my whole bumper changed. When I picked up my car afterwards, I came to find that they had only painted over the scratch. They had also kept my car longer than promised. Upon dropping off my car, I was told the job would only take a maximum of 3 days, but instead it took almost 2 weeks. I was forced to leave my car in their shop while I was traveling abroad. I also assume they left my car on and running because my gas tank was depleted 20 miles although the odometer did not go up. My only guess is that they had forgotten to turn my car off. They also heavily overcharged because the paint job that they did was definitely not worth the $1400 that was billed. Overall I am very upset with the service I received from this body shop and will be taking my business to Lexus next time. read more
