    Just because I cannot give them a zero star! My husband took his truck in for service after an accident and all I can say about this experience is Horrible service. The front desk has horrible customer service, receptionist not passing messages to the adjuster, falling asleep when you go in, not picking up phones, etc. The adjusters don't call back, they say one thing and then when confronted they deny it. They try to wiggle themselves out of responsibility. you tell them about their front desk and all they say is "we know" but stay the same. No accountability from anybody. They give you the car back and ask you "any questions" very impatient, you say no at the moment and they leave like they are bothered. Once we got home this were the conditions we noticed we got the truck back. Also this message pops up and we were not notified either. Was it fixed? Who knows!! We took our truck there trusting them and this is what we receive and on-top we keep finding scratches on the car that were not there when we dropped it off. Once again no accountability Never again will we do business with them.

    First time in a car accident! To sum it up, It's been 3 weeks of a nightmare. Thank goodness to David (manager) from Penske, I felt like someone had my best interest and I could trust. I will recommend anyone who needs car care to seek him for the process!

    The extent of the damage was to the front-end.

    Disappointing Experience at Penske Collision Center (PCC) I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Penske Collision Center in Downey. After a minor fender-bender, I took my car there for repairs, expecting it to be completed within a reasonable timeframe. However, it ended up taking over two months to get my car back! Safe to say, my expectations were far from met. Excessive Delays: The repairs took an unreasonably long time. What should have been a straightforward repair turned into months of waiting. The first delay came with the initial inspection. This shop required me to first get a repair quote from my insurance prior to them doing their own inspection, which I thought was odd at the time but I figured they were just being thorough. So, I got it done and quickly set up an appointment to drop off my vehicle at PCC. It took PCC six days to complete their own inspection and notify me and my insurance. Three days later, my insurance approved the supplemental changes PCC recommended. That was on June 6 and that is when I expected the repair process to begin. I was wrong: yet another delay. On June 11 I received a text from PCC telling me that they received the email approving their supplement. I informed them that I also got the approval email-on June 6. By then I had already invested two weeks of my time to start over with another shop. When I spoke with the repair shop representative and asked for a rough estimate for date of completion, he said it would take about a month from the date they received approval from the insurance (June 11), so I expected to have my repairs completed by mid-July. My vehicle was dropped off at PCC on May 28, for their initial inspection; I did not get it returned to me until August 9. Poor Communication and Transparency: Throughout the entire process, communication was poor. I had to constantly text them for updates, and each time I was given a different excuse for the delay or their "update" provided little to no progress. It's frustrating to be without your vehicle for so long, especially for relatively minor damage. After several weeks of waiting, and multiple requests for an estimated completion date, I was finally informed that the grill for my car was on back order and would further delay repairs. This was a full seven weeks into the repair process. Unprofessional and unacceptable. Repair Quote Addendum Hassle: To make matters worse, after the repairs were finally completed, I was informed that my vehicle wouldn't be released until the insurance approved an addendum to the original quote. Why wasn't this communicated earlier? It felt like yet another delay tactic. Luckily for me, the insurance representative was even more upset with addendum and short notice, and I quote: "I have talked to both you and D**** about you sending supplements at the last minute. It is very hard to believe that you did not notice that a supplement would be needed given that you would have already had the receipts on parts that were purchased needed to assemble the vehicle. You don't assemble the vehicle in one day and you don't receive these invoices at the last minute. You are the only shop that does this and inconvenience the client by doing this. I am sorry I am unable to get to the assignment I already have assignments up to Tuesday. If it is only invoices, other shops release the vehicle as they know the assignment will get done. YOU choose to hold on to these vehicles and I am not going to drop all my assignments because of your lack of organization. At this point you can explain to our client why you decided to send a final supplement at 5:34 pm on Thursday Afternoon when you know that I already have my assignments for Friday. We talked about this and you assured me you would be more professional about this and giving me three-day notice so that I schedule and make sure the assignment is completed by the time the vehicle is ready to leave the shop, every other shop does it that way so why can't you do it that way and stop putting customers in bad situations." After this email and my own complaint, the vehicle was released to me the following day. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with little confidence in their ability to handle even minor repairs efficiently. I won't be returning, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place and consider alternative repair shops.

I took this car to this body shop twice for both upgrades; one for the bumper and lip and the other for the trunk and wing. Galaxy Auto Haus did a great job for all aspects of the upgrade, from paint matching to panel fitment. I really can't tell that the paint on the bumper, trunk, and body are not from the same painting run; the color match on these panels is that good. Pricing was pretty fair and Honorio was very meticulous when it came to getting all of the details right. If I have another kind of project for a car like this, I know that these guys will get it done right.

    UPDATE: It's fascinating how some people can lie straight to…read moreyour face. I never said this job should cost only $200-$300. What I said was that it would take approximately 2-3 hours to respray a bumper that is already removed and disassembled, and that only requires scuffing with a Scotch-Brite pad to create proper adhesion before spraying. Second, your estimator attempted to upsell full respraying of both fenders on a practically new 2024 Mazda CX-5 for $1,600, so please don't claim the quote was based on the vehicle's condition or imply that it is in poor shape. The car is literally new. This is a classic upselling tactic--you wouldn't even fully respray the panels; you would blend them and increase your profit at an astronomical price. The bumper itself requires virtually no preparation and at most 6-7 coats with 5-minute flash times, so my 2-3 hour estimate was generous. At the midpoint, I stated that $100 would go toward materials such as paint and clear coat. That figure is based on what I can purchase it for myself, as I received several quotes. I am not buying in bulk or leveraging large volumes the way you do, so my estimate is not far from reality. It's a small bumper overall. As for spray booth time--you don't have one, and you would never rent one for a job this small. An important detail: I know how to paint and understand exactly how this work is done. Overall, I requested an online quote first and sent photos in advance. That request was dodged. Instead, I was pushed to come in person--so additional, unnecessary labor I never asked for could be "found" to justify the price. Lastly, I never said the bumper was painted twice. It was professionally painted, but the pearl component did not turn out to my liking. I came to your shop because you claimed you had matched this color before, yet your estimator was unable to name a single model you had matched it on. Nor did you provide any proof that you were capable of doing so. I don't mind paying extra for work that has already been done correctly, but after seeing these tactics and reading outright false statements, I'm glad I walked away. The "obstacles" your estimator tried to create included: 1. Searching for minor hairline scratches to justify repainting two additional panels on a new vehicle 2. Claiming shops don't like it when parts are already prepped or disassembled 3. Taking photos to point out alleged color differences between panels on a new car

Working with Will has been a completely different experience from what we've had elsewhere. He was honest, straightforward, and respectful of our time. The vehicle was genuinely in fantastic condition, the paperwork process was efficient, and the entire experience was smooth and stress-free. He also made it clear that if anything came up after the purchase, we could reach out and they would take care of it, which meant a lot to us. Will listed our other vehicles right away and even handles the detailing--either as a paid service or by deducting it from the sale price. He's very transparent about his pricing and only makes $500 on trade-ins, which feels more than fair given the convenience and the amount of work involved. It truly feels like a one-stop shop, and we really appreciate how seamless everything has been. I want to thank Jay who helped people the day I went. The facility was clean and organized, so I felt very comfortable about coming here. They are next to car wash and a gas station. Also, Stonewood Mall is across the way too. The had coffee and snacks, I loved that they had Kirkland coffee pods, oh heck yea. The waiting area is not huge but enough. Jay was very knowledgeable and helpful; I overheard him helping people out. As far as value, I felt I got a good value, as I was shopping around. I was given a time estimate, and a time estimate if I wanted additional service and they were very good about meeting that. I got a free car wash at the was station next door, full service, and they did a great wash. I am already planning my next visit with them. I will update review in the future.

We checked the air filter and out popped a partially torn paper with instructions how to change the filter... I've been going here for many years because it's close to where I live. They have made other mistakes like forgetting to plug in my rear view lights again after replacing bulb. They couldn't fix my old sonata either and the check engine light returned 3 times when promised it was fixed. I thought easy jobs was okay to trust this place, but I was wrong. Only bring your car here if you want a high chance of screw ups on your car.
