I had a little fender bender that left my steering wheel crooked. Ahmad had me bring it in for a check, and his mechanic found it just needed a wheel alignment. I was so relieved--no extra repairs were pushed on me, which was a big deal since I've had bad luck with dishonest shops before. George's Auto Service really earned my trust, and I'll definitely be back for future fixes. read more

Sent messages describing the issue. Responded promptly. Had the issue diagnosed and resolved same day. Answered all questions thoroughly. Fair price for repair. Amazing warranty for repair as well. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot. Overall highly recommend. read more

Came in for an oil change and got greeted right away. They use good-quality synthetic oil, and the setup is convenient couches and chairs to wait inside, or you can walk next door and grab food while they work on your car. They were pretty busy that day, so it took a little longer than usual, but the service was solid and everything was handled well. Charged $90 for service. Overall, a reliable spot for an oil change with friendly service. Would come back again. read more

This is my place to come for my oil changes and I most recently had the brake rotors and brake pads replaced on my Kia Telluride and Ahmad and his team did an outstanding job. The price for parts and labor are very affordable compared to many other shops in the area. But most importantly, the honesty and integrity of Ahmad is priceless. I highly recommend this place for any of your mechanical needs. read more

Easy and fast services clean and efficient. Fair pricing all around for whatever you need done.

The services and work always are worth it here. I came back to get my oil, filters, rotors and breaks changed because it's been awhile since I got any of that fixed. Ahmad is extremely friendly and helpful when walking through what needs to be fixed. I always tell all my friends to go here for basic repairs because they are reasonable and helpful. I paid $990, which is on the pricier side, yet was told I received good quality products. The whole repair only took 2 hours to do as well. I highly recommend coming here to get your oil or car fixed! Ahmad will make you feel at home and take care of all your car needs! read more

George's Auto is the best ! I've been coming here for about 21/2 years if not longer . Ahmad has helped me an my family multiple times an has been very honest It's not easy to find a mechanic that is honest and has very good prices on his auto parts . As a single mom I come to him for all my car troubles bc I've tried a different place once and they screwed me over . I had to come back to George's to have him fix it ! Thank you again Ahmad for being such a nice and honest guy to me and my family read more

Oil change for my e400 Mercedes Benz. They had the exact synthetic oil & filter the manufacturer calls for on my MBZ. Great service, no wait. Had my car finished within 20 minutes, no spills or stains left behind. Cost was reasonable. Highly recommend their service. Ahmad was great. read more

Great service! Fixed my car's issues quickly and efficiently at a reasonable price. Will be returning the next time I have an issue!

Had AC issues not working. I reached out via yelp project and Ahmad was quick with response for free diagnosis. Made appointment for 9:30am very next day. Met Ahmad and he had me pull my car into the bay and he immediately had a tech on it which turned out to be a faulty compressor at about 10am. He hopped on the phone to locate the part and quoted me $900 total out the door and that by 5pm it would be ready. I left and Ahmad called me back at 2pm to let me know my car was ready. Got me going faster than expected. Now I have A/C again in this heatwave. Pricing was fair. Turnaround time was 4 hrs including 2 hr wait time for autozone to have the compressor in stock. Happy camper here. 10/10 would recommend!! Thank you again Ahmad and your knowledgeable crew. read more

George's Auto Service - Immediately diagnosed car upon appointment time at 9:30am - Auto Repair Near Me - La Mirada, California

I sent my daughter with her car to be looked at due to some hiccups this morning, they did not do a diagnosis they sent her to an electrician for a car, but yet charger for an oil change which I agree she needed and 40.00 to clean her battery 90 for the oil change but $40 for the battery cleaning?????? she's got two jobs she's going to school and when I ask her how it went, she was almost in tears because even though she didn't know it, she felt something was not right and I agree with that $40 for battery cleaning that's dishonesty. I've been meaning to come to the shop with my own vehicle. I have not had a chance now I know I'm not going to. they saw an opportunity in around with it, and this is why we use YouTube rather than to go to mechanics for simple things. Unfortunately, I was not at home with her otherwise, this would not have happened. read more

Very helpful in diagnosing the problem on my car. Even added washer fluid that was a bit low just to clear an alert. Will definitely take my car here rather than over priced and under communicative dealership b read more

I came here to get my brake pads replaced and had a solid experience. The shop itself was super clean and organized. Communication was great. Shop was responsive on Yelp and actually returned my calls, which I appreciated and made things easier to plan out. The price I was quoted over yelp was exactly what I paid in person. Friendly and easy to talk to. I felt comfortable leaving my car there. He also mentioned that they use higher quality break pads which is always good to hear. Overall, smooth and straightforward. Good communication, fair pricing, and a clean shop. Would come back 10/10. read more

I went to George's Auto Service last week for my Toyota Prius to do oil change and brake shoes replacement . The prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. Although Toyota dealer sent me coupon by email to do oil change for 35.00 synthetic, I did not go. This morning my Honda accord had problem to start the engine. George's Auto Service checked the battery quickly for me free. Conclusions: Great service, good quality and reasonable price . read more

The shop manager Ahmad was very helpful. I had a quote from a big tire shop. I wanted a second opinion and while Ahmed and the mechanic confirmed, and showed me, what needed to be replaced, his price was better than the big tire shop. They were quick and did a good job. I even sent my husband there a few days later for work on his car. Again they beat the price of a big tire shop. read more

Called ahead and was able to drive in and wait for oil/filter change. They have a large selection of synthetic oils in 5qt jugs. Easy to see exactly what is going into your car. Very reasonably priced and had a nice chat with the new owner. read more

My son recommended me to this Auto Service, as he goes there. My brakes were squeaking and I wanted someone to check them. All the technician did was get in my car and drive a few feet and brake- and said my brakes were fine. I told him they were squeaking. He ignored that. read more

Excellent service and Great Value! I took my Toyota Prius into the shop because it had been leaking oil from the engine and leaving oil stains all over my driveway. I received three different quotes from other repair shops and Ahmad's quote was half the price of the other quotes. Ahmad explained the issue to me, showed me where the leak had been coming from, and gave me a 6 month warranty on the work. Thank you Ahmad! I have found my new trusted mechanic to take my cars when work needs to be completed. read more

Ahmad the mechanic did a great job on my car, he did an oil change and changed the engine filters. I highly recommend him!!!

I just got my car back after getting serviced at George's. I have been coming to George's since 2022 and each service I've gotten done has always been done with great quality and care. The team was very communicative of what work needed to be done (which was a lot at the time). As a lady, I always feel hesitant speaking to mechanics about car problems but Ahmad and his team made me feel comfortable that I wasn't getting deceived or lied to for the price I was paying. I got a quote from the dealership and was able to save some money by consulting with the team at Georges for the same quality of work. I am extremely happy that I was able to find consistent and trustworthy team of mechanics to do business with! read more

I've been going here for auto repair since George owned it. Ahmad and his brother took over in 2023, and I have only had great experiences here. Ahmad is really kind, honest, and trustworthy. His pricing is fair, and in fact, the latest repair of 3 motor mounts, vtech oil leak, and new AC compressor was way less than half the cost of what the dealership wanted to charge. He even installed a new splash guard for free when I provided the part. Overall, I'd highly recommend him to anyone that needs quality repair for a reasonable price. read more

He lied about what was wrong with my car, tried to charge $1000 extra then all shops around him. No one was there when I showed up which makes sense because it was an old lady and man working while he was sitting. Be careful! read more

Ah yes, George's Auto Service -- conveniently located in La Mirada, but somehow still managed to tell me I'm not in their service area. Mind you, I'm also in La Mirada. We're literally in the same damn city. Like, I could probably throw a rock and hit their shop. But apparently, I live in some invisible La Mirada exile zone that Google Maps doesn't even recognize. I guess I missed the border checkpoint on Valley View Ave. Should've brought my passport and utility bill. The real mystery here isn't my car's electrical issue -- it's how they manage to exist in the same town and act like I'm reaching out from Mars. You ever had someone tell you they can't help you because you're too close? That's next-level customer service right there. So if you enjoy rejection from local businesses in your own city for reasons that defy time, space, and basic geography -- George's might just be the comedy show you're looking for. read more

I came in to my usual breakfast spot (tacos el Rey) a day after my suspension went out on my car. I explained to the owner what I thought was wrong with my car and he kindly gave me an approximate pending testing and diagnosis. I brought in my vehicle the next day after I had already received 2 outrageous quotes. Once from their neighbors in the same plaza. Make sure you don't get confused and end up at the wrong spot paying extra $$$. The owner was very kind and very well spoken. Not once did he rush me or try lying to me. As transparent as they come, in the filthy business of car shops and car sales. I tell you this shops helped save me lots of money stress free, and with peace of mind. My rear Suspension and air compressor went out. It was going to be a few days before I got my car back and was going to miss out on a special weekend with my kids. I was bummed out but the owner had it ready for me within 24 hours on a Saturday morning. I'm not saying it will always be the case that your car will be ready within the day, but I got lucky. He overdelivered after underpromising and NOT lying. Thank you for the amazing service, the great and clean work on my vehicle and the great attitude. This is definitely my new go to spot for any vehicle issues. Tell the owner I sent you! He will take care of you! He's a family man and a gentleman. I saved north of $500 on labor and parts. Please support this small but professional ran business. They have quick diagnosis, seating area, restaurant next door, and ice cream parlor as well. It's behind michoacana, next to el Rey restaurant. A toda mi gente que ocupa un mecánico honesto y bueno con un costo muy cómodo! Aquí está su lugar!
