I sent my daughter with her car to be looked at due to some hiccups this morning, they did not do a diagnosis they sent her to an electrician for a car, but yet charger for an oil change which I agree she needed and 40.00 to clean her battery 90 for the oil change but $40 for the battery cleaning?????? she's got two jobs she's going to school and when I ask her how it went, she was almost in tears because even though she didn't know it, she felt something was not right and I agree with that $40 for battery cleaning that's dishonesty. Had AC issues not working. I reached out via yelp project and Ahmad was quick with response for free diagnosis. Made appointment for 9:30am very next day. Met Ahmad and he had me pull my car into the bay and he immediately had a tech on it which turned out to be a faulty compressor at about 10am. He hopped on the phone to locate the part and quoted me $900 total out the door and that by 5pm it would be ready. I left and Ahmad called me back at 2pm to let me know my car was ready. Got me going faster than expected. Now I have A/C again in this heatwave. Pricing was fair. Turnaround time was 4 hrs including 2 hr wait time for autozone to have the compressor in stock. So I've had some problems with my 2015 GMC Sierra recently and took it to a few places that acted kind of shady if you ask me. One guy charged me $135.00 just to hook up the computer to the ODB port and tell me that it needed a new engine. Of course he proceeded to tell me that he would buy my truck from me. That is shady as hell. So I did some research and found that these guys had a 4.9 star rating. Well deserved as far as I'm concerned! They diagnosed the problem, found the single cause of all the computer errors and fixed it within a day. The truck runs great and the cost was very reasonable! I actually had the do a complete tune up and transmission fluid replacement because I trust them. I now have my other vehicle here for an alternator replacement as well. Don't know about others who gave them less than five stars but they were wrong. Going back next week with my third vehicle. read more

I came in to my usual breakfast spot (tacos el Rey) a day after my suspension went out on my car. I explained to the owner what I thought was wrong with my car and he kindly gave me an approximate pending testing and diagnosis. I brought in my vehicle the next day after I had already received 2 outrageous quotes. Once from their neighbors in the same plaza. Make sure you don't get confused and end up at the wrong spot paying extra $$$. The owner was very kind and very well spoken. Not once did he rush me or try lying to me. As transparent as they come, in the filthy business of car shops and car sales. I tell you this shops helped save me lots of money stress free, and with peace of mind. My rear Suspension and air compressor went out. It was going to be a few days before I got my car back and was going to miss out on a special weekend with my kids. I was bummed out but the owner had it ready for me within 24 hours on a Saturday morning. I'm not saying it will always be the case that your car will be ready within the day, but I got lucky. I went to this place around two weeks ago because my car seemed to be driving weirdly and it was making weird noises. I have no idea about anything related to cars, and I am a female college student. I went to this shop to get my car checked out, and they said that there were lots of things broken, including my motor mounts, belt, and some other part of the engine. I was told that I could only drive my car safely for another week or two, and they gave me a price quote of 1000$ to fix everything. I thought the price was high, so I went to a different repair shop. The other shop told me that everything about my car was fine, and that it was just low on engine oil. They said that even though the motor mounts was broken, the car was still fine to keep driving and that it would not affect my safety. They also mentioned that the belt was old, but still perfectly fine to continue using. Update: I wasn't able to edit my response, so I'm writing a new post. My car currently has 58K miles, so it wasn't in need of the 100K maintenance per the owner's reply. My car is up to date on all maintenance services. I just got the car from my uncle, who is a mechanic, around 6 months ago when I started university. However, I was not aware that I had to regularly check and add a bit of motor oil into the engine occasionally at the time.
