I took my truck in to diagnose for an ac evaporator failure. There vacuum test pass so then they refilled my Freon and sent me on my way. I paid for the Freon gas that had a fluorescent dye in case it leaks the next day. The next day my refrigerant was empty again and I took it back and they found the leak behind my dashboard. Which meant the whole dashboard needed to be taken off to replace the AC evaporator. They gave me their bid and a turnaround time of about a week since they wanted to make sure the job was done correctly. On top of that they found that my brake pads needed to be replaced which i let them replace. Overall I didn't go with them for the ac evaporator job since I found another shop that was cheaper and gave me a faster turn around time, however I felt that they were honest and genuinely tried to help me. Nothing bad to say about this shop. read more

I came to this shop at 10 a.m. for a simple AC diagnostic. I was told it would take one hour and they'd call me when it was done. Hours later, no call. At 1:30 p.m., I called them myself, only to be told they were "still doing the test." So much for one hour. When I showed up in person, things went from bad to unbelievable. The guy casually told me they had LOST MY KEYS. Yes--lost my keys. And nobody bothered to call me about it. Instead, I sat there like an idiot for another hour while they tried to figure it out. I finally had to demand they drive me home so I could grab my spare key. They promised if my keys didn't turn up, they'd cover a replacement. The next day--still nothing. No call, no update, no accountability. I had to call them AGAIN, and only then did they say they had called a locksmith. That turned into another wasted day of sitting at their shop for hours with zero communication. This shop is a joke. The customer service is nonexistent, the communication is pathetic, and the incompetence is beyond belief. They wasted two full days of my time, lost my keys, gave me the runaround, and then had the nerve to still charge me full price. Shady, careless, and completely unprofessional. They don't respect customers, they don't take responsibility, and they don't care. Save yourself the frustration--go anywhere else but here. read more

No one likes car problems & it's really hard to find an honest place with fair prices... especially for females. I had to tow my car after hours and this place was so responsive through their Yelp page. The owner was transparent and told me they were booked for several days and wouldn't be able to look at my car until Monday (this was Wednesday). They took my car anyway and didn't charge me for keeping it (I had to get it towed that night since it stopped in the middle of the street). When they got around to my car, it was fixed fast without trying to upsell me anything and at a very reasonable price. Truly appreciated. They have great reviews for a reason. Parking was a little hard (most empty spots are reserved for a tattoo shop) but I parked behind another car hoping for the best. If I could give negative stars I would how a simple oil change service couldn't be performed on my vehicle at your mechanic shop is beyond me but here we are. During the oil change, my vehicle's original oil filter housing was cracked. Instead of replacing it with the correct, compatible part for my vehicle, your shop installed a metal oil filter housing on my car which caused my car to leak oil. Less than a month after the oil change, I began receiving low oil alerts from my vehicle, indicating that oil was being lost. I contacted your shop and spoke directly with the owner on multiple occasions. Despite these alerts and my concerns, I was repeatedly told that my car was not leaking oil.(I had a huge spill on my driveway but it was not leaking oil apparently? I was told it was the excess oil that was spilt from when my oil change was done???okkkkkk) It was later proven that my car was in fact LEAKING oil after taking my car to a different shop to resolve this issue because Whittier auto garage couldn't after I returned my car 3 times, i paid 90 dollars for a new oil filter another quart of oil and a evaluation of my car. I am very disappointed that this took about a month to resolve and after taking my car in this last time I knew I was not returning when the owner looked at me with a smile and said "your car will not be leaking oil" and it was in fact leaking oil lol do better. oh and the best part the mechanic then proceeded to scan my car as if that would tell them that the oil filter housing that they replaced wasn't compatible or that I had an active oil leak why do I want a scan of my car?? just fix the leak you caused!!!Lastly for a car mechanic to allow a customer to leave a shop with an active oil leak knowing this can leave to engine damage is beyond me. If you don't care about your car leaving in a worse condition than how you had it bring it here! Oil change done nov 18 Picture of my driveway was taken nov 23 I took my car back dec 1 as it was still leaking all they did was clean underneath my car?? 1. They tried to charge $400 parts and labor for a 15 minute job to replace a starter 2. Kept my car for three weeks while they ordered the wrong part 3 times 3. I had to order the part myself 4. When I received the part the owner took offense to me asking him to move me up his priority list of repairs saying "I don't work for you" 5. I pick the car up and take it to another shop. They do the repair in under an hour. 6. This shop broke a piece of my center console so now I get to spend a weekend afternoon going to the junkyard so I can put the center console back together myself Response: I guess when a customer objects to your attempt to price gouge on a basic starter replacement the next move is to order wrong parts, not communicate any sort of timetable, and then break things as you see fit read more
